I honestly didn’t think I was going to even like this series as much as I was going to. I’M IN LOVE, but honestly I’m in love with Pam Godwin its really not even a surprise.
After Evie’s survival and self discovery, she turns her attention to her three beautiful guardians. Learning each other individually but also with there unique dynamic. It’s absolutely IMMACULATE to read while her guardians also learn to love each other. Roark; her Irish priest, Jesse; her Lakota guard and Michio; her personal doctor. This series is soul crushing, heartbreaking beautiful and its what I honestly expect from Pam.
Each try to concentrate and protect Evie in there world all while also getting answers on why and how Evie’s blood and prophecy can save human kind and get the world back. The action, the suspense, the romance in this was all to perfect and its only book two in this Trilogy of Eve
“I shared something different and special with each of them”
I love how each guardian has a relationship with Evie and mostly revolves around her but to read how they come to terms and love not only Evie but each other is HAWT. The development throughout there relationship while also fighting to save the nymphs and saving the world best they can. The friendships they make traveling together with her guardians. It’s a wonderful and breathtaking read that hurts your heart with love and heartache. Definitely a unique soul crushing read
My mind is absolutely blown away by Blood of Eve!!! This is book two in the Eve trilogy and book 1 definitely needs to be read first! It picks up directly after book 1 left off. This series is a sci-fi based romance and based in a post-apocalyptic world and not my normal genre but I couldn’t put this down! I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen! Throw in a love square and you won’t be able to get enough!!!! Heartbreaking, sexy, and perfection!!! An unpredictable journey that will leave your head spinning!
Pam Godwin I’m not ok after finishing Blood of Eve. Even knowing from the beginning of this book what was coming didn’t prepare me for the emotional part at the end.
Blood of Eve was definitely more intense in the emotional, passionate, steamy and love departments. The story continues Eve and her guardians journey to find the cure for the human mutation and the evil that brought it to human kind.
Still action pack and suspenseful but the intense love Eve has for her guardians and all she will done to help human kind will twist your heart.
I wasn’t not expecting to cry in this book but I did and girl crush for Evie multiple. I wont say no more. Just know that for the lovers of intense, suspenseful, dark, dystopian romance book this series is A MUST READ.
This book was even better than book one in the series. I have a major girl crush on Evie. She is an absolute badass heroine. While the guys are all so different but united in their love for Evie. Book one more focused on world building and introducing all of the characters. While this book just hits you with the emotions and major steam between Evie and her guardians. The ending will hit you in the feels but fit the book so well, I couldn’t have seen it ending any other way.
I cannot say enough how even if you aren’t a fan of RH or dystopia to read this series. I will convert you, the emotionality and character arcs throughout the series was fantastic. Even in this trippy dystopian world full of monsters the characters are relatable and have just the right amount of humor to balance everything out.
Pam is one of those rare authors that can write in any trope and just smash it every time. I have not read a book of hers that I didn’t absolutely adore.
Dead of Eve by Pam Godwin is one of my very favorite books. I was introduced to this series by none other than, Mickey at @theinfinitereader.blog. Let me tell you, she would not stop hounding me until I finished book two, Blood of Eve. Lol. (I mean that in the best way possible with as much love as possible). And I am so incredibly happy that she did.
When I say this book broke my heart, I mean it. Pam Godwin is the queen of dark romance and making you fall in love with these dark, somewhat taboo stories. This one is no different.
Now y’all, not only is this a dark romance, it’s weird AF too. Lol. Weird in the best way, if that makes any sense. I found myself visualizing the story as it happened. The characters in the book completely captivated my attention and made me fall in love with them.
Pam Godwin made me feel every possible emotion throughout this book. She will rip your heart out, step on it a few times, and put it back. There were so many times I found myself with my jaw to the floor while reading this. I am so happy that @theinfinitereader.blog FORCED me to read this series because it’s one of my favorites of all time!
Do yourself a favor and read it! I think you’ll love it! Just be prepared for the weird. Lol.

I am going to make this review heartbreakingly short and to the point. I was consumed by this book from the very beginning. Just like book 1, I lost many hours of sleep thanks to this story and these characters and I regretted not one second of that. There’s over 1100 pages between book 1 and this book total, so when I read it, I was ALL IN. I lived and breathed these characters and prayed for them to find a cure and a way to live happily ever after. I NEEDED them to find their HEA.
Pam truly has a gift and can weave a story like this, like no other. For that, I am giving this book 4 stars. I can not deny that her writing is extraordinary. B U T…I can’t discredit how I felt at the end of this book. I was UTTERLY DEVASTATED. G U T T E D. Bawling my eyes out type of gutted. I felt almost like I wasted my time putting SO MUCH energy and time into this series. I literally could not process what transpired during the last 10% of the book. It was 1 in the morning when I finished this book and had to jump right into book 3, to try to quench my thoughts and feelings about the ending of this book. I KNOW that Pam has a deeper purpose and meaning for how she ended this book, but it still didn’t alleviate the pain I was in.
After dwelling on my thoughts and feelings for a couple days, I could not deny the fact that Pam’s writing spoke for itself and overrode my pain with how the book ended, so I ultimately had to give her 4 stars. This book and story were still phenomenal, even if I was gutted with the ending.
4 stars
I have no clue how to classify this series as it’s in a league all it’s own.
Dystopian, post-apocalyptic, some romance, Kinda reverse-harem but it is so far advanced from the usual ones I’ve read previously and it is very slow burn and takes the time to build the bond for all involved here.
Some horror, plenty of action and a whole lot of love and connection.
This is an epic unpredictable journey one that doesn’t pull it’s punches and will probably rip your heart clean out of your chest and then stamp all over it.
It was so bloody intense and the curing of the nymphs is actually the easy part here as things elsewhere slowly start to unravel.
Events start to seriously snowball and this one is gonna get worse before it gets better.
There’s Michio unknown evolution and the Drone’s intentions regarding Evie resulting in Michio taking drastic solo action with potentially far-reaching consequences for all.
There is just so much going on here and this second book was even better than it’s predecessor if that’s even possible.
This was also incredibly emotive and beautifully filthy as Evie finally gets to consummate her bond with Jessie and Rourke finally lets go of his guilt and takes things to the next level.
My god those scenes were red hot and the chemistry major explosive.
I also really appreciated how Rourke, Jessie and Michio were all so very different each with their own unique personalities and little quirks.
The way this manages to build the tension progressing slowly and eventually culminating in such a deep and lasting bond.
I also adored all the character dynamics here and especially loved Jessie and Rourke’s bond together.
So this took me through a whole gauntlet of emotions running through the complete spectrum of light to dark.
It was truly unpredictable and my heart was in my mouth throughout.
This one keeps you on the edge of your seat poised for the fallout.
The priest is still my all-time favourite he’s bloody hilarious and has absolutely no filter and his accent and unique turns of phrase are the absolute bomb.
His running commentary managed to pull things back from the brink and inject some much-needed light-heartedness into the mix especially when things go sideways and get so darkish and bleak.
Then that finale my god I am broken this book digs deep and claws forth the emotion I had tears running down my face by the finish of this.
What an ending, think I’m gonna need a wee break before I jump into the final book that and some bravery I’m literally scared where this might venture next.
I need to get my head back on straight after running that gauntlet.
What a journey I’m literally destroyed and a bloody mess even a day later.
Brilliant but oh so heart wrenching and bring the tissues you’re gonna need them.

Pam Godwin did it again. She sucked me in and stole my heart. This book is both intriguing and disturbingly creative. Romantic and tragic, and oh so steamy. You thought her other stories were the steamiest yet, but you were wrong.
Blood of Eve is the second in the Trilogy of Eve. This story continues with Evie’s determination to save and preserve humanity as we know it, but she also has the fierce and never-ending love of three men to aid her in her quest. While the first installment focused on Evie’s journey, this one revolves around her intimate relationships with her guardians. Each one grows and changes in unexpected ways that will leave you wanting more and more.
Forever catching me by surprise with unexpected twists and turns, this book did not disappoint and left me trying to catch my breath all the way to the end. What an emotional roller-coaster! I cannot wait to read Dawn of Eve next to see where this trilogy comes to an end.
Blood of Eve was something that is indescribable. You have to just keep turning the pages to see what happens next. Poor Evie has some much on her shoulders, save then nymphs with her blood, kill all the aphid with her super power, protect and love and protect her guardians (oh and what sexy guardians).
The reason I really like this series is because it has a little of everything in it. I know when you read the description and it says “When a voice from the past prophesies a solution for the dying race, she must make a choice. Will she survive for love? Or will she die for it?” That just gets you heart into the book. RIGHT! Well the second book has so much more than the first book. Yea she knows she is the cure for the nymphs but when she starts the romantic, lust and sex with the guardians she evolves. Which makes her one bad ass woman?
Jesse is the only Lakota left is her savior, her biggest protector. He fights with every being not to sleep with her. In this book you go thru the feelings with him. He is more open and more determined to save her.
Roark is an Irish priest that just sounds sexy as hell in the book. The way Pam writes his character and his language is so funny in the story. He is the one that grounds Evie and gives her the support and love that she needs.
Michio is a doctor and knows the most about the virus but is also the one connected to the Drone. He kind of makes me hate him in this book. So spoiler alert!! He just up and leaves and that breaks Evie hearts but in the end he might cause her more heart ache and pain. He also is the first of the three to stand with her and holds her up to be strong.
Don’t want to give away any more spoiler and so ready for book 3. So better go and start reading. I hope you enjoy the book. I received this book for my honest opinion. You really need to start the series. Thanks
This is the second book in this amazing series. Eve plus her 3 hot guardians are in search of a cure for this deadly virus. Will they be able to find it in time? I am dying inside a little as I read on. I am eagerly waiting to dive into #3.
Loved this book, kept me hooked the whole read. Very emotional at the end!
4.5 Stars!
Feck me. I don’t usually start a review this way, but this book.
My bones were chilled, I’m on fire, I’m completely consumed with all things Evie.
Say you read dystopian. Say you read romance. Say you read sci-fiction.
This story is going to open you up and spit you out. If you love out-of-box, then this a must. I was slayed. EVERY waking moment was reading this book. Albeit long, but it packed a knife to your throat. Well thought out and engaging. I don’t have much experience with this topic. Let me tell you, I watch it. I watch this type of scenario. Watching has nothing compared to the gift Pam Godwin gives. The words are built with integrity. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again. You don’t know the talent of this author until you’ve read this series. I’m choked up. There’s no amount of justice I can give to the feelings I felt within these pages.
Throw out assumptions and read this beautiful, deadly, soul reaching series.
If you thought book 1 was great, just wait for this roller coaster.
Two years have passed and the aphids still have the upper hand.
The discovery of a nymph changes everything and leads to an exploration of civilisation and the ability to deal with what life is throwing at you.
The guardians are united in the care for Evie until something happens and you are not absolutely sure why but lets just say,you find out.
Lots of things I did not imagine are in this book. The relationships of the three men and Evie are a heavy but steamy focus but there is still so much more.
Have a box of tissues ready, some ugly crying occurs.
Loved it!
Amazing action packed story. Eve is still trying to heal everyone and continues to be in dangerous places. She has her 3 guardians to protect her. love the relationship Eve has with her men. Story was full of action, drama, danger, and suspense. I loved every page!!!
Hot, hot, hot! This has to be one of the hottest, most erotic books I’ve ever read! Evie and get guardians continue to fight the Drone and the evil he leashed in the earth – will good triumph evil and at what cost? The love story between Evie, Michio, Roark, and Jesse continues to develop and grow. It is intense and very hot to watch! I did end up in tears during the story, so be prepared. Another amazing book by Pam!
I never thought I’d enjoyed Blood of Eve this much. Everything about it is just amazing! This action packed book2 will take you to different places as Eve continues her journey to save mankind from the Aphids, with the help of her three guardians: Roark, Jesse, and Michio. The bond between Eve and her guardians is really something to get envy for. It’s all for one and one for all, always looking out for each other. And the ending, I didn’t see that coming. It’s unpredictable! So, well written!
If you’re into this kind of genre you’re going to enjoy this series, Pam Godwin always deliver and oh, before it slips my mind, this book have some pretty hot scene between Eve and her guardians that will leave you breathless and say, “Damn, that’s HOT!” Time well spent reading this book! Can’t wait for the final book, Dawn of Eve!
This book was awesome!!! Definitely recommend!
This book is two in the series and these books need to be read in order. The intensity, drama, danger and emotions all continue to grow as the story continues to unfold. The post apocalyptic setting in this case seams scarily plausible and for me that really pulled me into the story. Eve, Roark, Jesse and Michio are all complex characters and as such the relationship between them is complicated. If you enjoy a read that will keep you on edge, offers plenty of action, glimmers of humor and scorching steam, you should give this series a try. This is my completely voluntary, honest review.
Blood of Eve is just as suspenseful and dark as Dead of Eve. But one major difference in this story is the steaminess. It gets extremely hot.
Three amazing men. One woman. Oh… my…
I can’t even pick a favorite. Each guardian is different and essential to Eve’s life as she fights against the person responsible for creating the deadly virus.
I couldn’t put this book down. The action kept me glued to my Kindle, and the ending made my my eyes water. I really enjoyed this series, and I can’t wait to read the next book!
