Accidentally hitched to a dream. Now for the catch…I didn’t even say “I do.”One crank call and I’m insta-wife to a tattooed behemoth and mother to his kids. He’s paying my idiot boss a fortune for the perfect lie.Because trouble found Miller Rush, and he found me.A rock hard, overprotective rebel with a cause.Father of the century.Abs wound tighter than his attitude.A broodylicious bull … than his attitude.
A broodylicious bull stomping around my house, barking orders.
Something’s got to give, okay?
But it won’t be me.
Not my courage, even when my nosy mother smells drama.
Not my heart set on helping two little angels and their perma-grump dad.
Definitely not my body screaming Mayday because his bedroom eyes are magnets.
Deep breath.
It’s only a few weeks.
It’s only a whole mess of freaky secrets.
It’s only pretend and I’m so not letting Miller run off with my heart.
Riiight. Why didn’t anyone warn me some knots can’t be untied?

This book was sensational! Gwen and Miller are smoltering together! My kindle is still on fire! Reluctantly Gwen agrees to shelter Miller and his kids, Shane and Lauren, for awhile. At first, for a short while. Her boss begs her to do it plus there’s money in it for her. Then Gwen finds out she has to play Miller’s “fake” wife. That’s where she wants to draw the line. But Miller is deliciously handsome and brooding and well, it’s been awhile. Plus he is the world’s greatest dad. She doesn’t realize how deep this whole thing goes with Miller until they suddenly have to flee. What has she gotten herself into? But now after spending time with Miller and the kids she would do anything for them. So, if they make it out of this mess, could there be a happily ever after?
So good I could not put it down!
Wow you did it again Nicole. Another hot and steamy romance that keeps you turning pages and not wanting to put the book down.
OMG Lauren and Shane were just absolutely adorable. Loved their actions and loved May too. She was a wonderful strong woman. I loved how she fell for the children doting on them like she did.
Miller and Gwen were one heck of a hot couple too
and I loved the way Gwen automatically fell in love with him and the children practically from the start
On the run with his twins.
Miller’s in a tight spot. He found out something he wasn’t suppose to know. Now he’s on the run with his son and daughter. The next step is the fake wife they need to get out of the country. Unfortunately what he gets wasn’t in the original plan. A hot romance with some bad guys and an evil woman on their tail.
Accidental Rebel by Nicole Snow was unputdownable! From the very first chapter I was caught up in the intrigue and the passion! Gwen had her demons to conquer but as she became immersed in the family of Miller, Shane, and Lauren, her priorities changed and she became a much stronger person than even she knew she could be.
While living in danger, Miller and Gwen feel for each other things neither have felt for a long time, if ever. With Gwen so self conscious about her height, she fears no man would ever be attracted to her. I loved watching their attraction grow, as well as the bond between Gwen and the children. May, Gwen’s mother was a nuisance at first, but she grew on you and was an integral part of their survival of the situation.
This was a wonderful story, with great characters and a HEA and a bonus epilogue (which I loved)! I plan to read more of this series and recommend you do the same!!!
I think this might be nicoles most intense book to date.
From the very beginning, I had questions.
Questions that could only be answered by turning the page. The followed by more questions. Of course, nicoles signature style of heat was there to make you drool.
I look forward to seeing where this is going to go.
I highly recommend.
Happy reading!
Rating 5 stars
Note: I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this title.
I love stories about strong men who love their family, and risk everything to protect them. Awesome love and adventure story.
I’m voluntarily reviewing this book. This book is full of action and romance. Very well written, great characters, excellent storyline, just overall a great book! Really enjoyed how this book was written to not only show the developing romance between Gwen and Miller, but also the relationship between Miller and his children, and then also between Gwen and the children. Excellent read!
Another amazing read by Author Nicole Snow that will have you falling in love!! This book has it all!!! Love, intense heat, off the charts chemistry, and unpredictability!! This story is about a single dad, Miller, who will stop at nothing to keep his two kids safe. He meets Gwen , his soon to be wife, and it’s instant attraction, although he refuses to admit it. When all Hell breaks loose, these two realize how much in love they really are.
This book was written by a new-to-me author, Nicole Snow. I usually go for genres that are a touch darker, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this story of love on the run from danger. The characters charmed me. Between the wallflower, Gwen, almost overshadowed by her famous author mother, M.E. Court, and main male character, Army vet Miller Rush, a “whistleblower” (also single-father to two adorable kids, Lauren and Shane) and a storyline filled with risk and danger around every corner, I felt well-entertained by this book. Of course, the two main characters are strongly attracted to one another. They know they can’t allow the threat stalking them and the children to distract them. But distracted they get! With some match-making pushes from mother M.E., and the children in favor of the alliance too, their connection grows deeper and solidifies (with some very tingling-hot love scenes along the way). I heartily recommend this read. I call it 4.5 stars!
When you are on the run from a group of cooperate monsters, who can you trust? Apparently, you trust a paralegal and failed author. And somehow it totally works when Nicole Snow writes it! This had a lot of crazy action that will appeal to mature audiences. Another winner!
I really enjoyed this book. It took awhile to figure out what Miller was running from but it was awesome seeing the bad people get their comeuppance.
I received this novel for an honest review.
Nicole Snow is one of my favorite authors. I have read almost everything in her written library and was so excited to get an ARC of Accidental Rebel to read and review. Unfortunately, this was another one I fell behind on due to sickness, but that’s okay!
Accidental Rebel follows the story of Miller and Gwen. Their story follows an accidental marriage trope that also has plenty of suspense and page-turning events that have you NEEDING to know what happens.
When I first started the book, I felt brought into the story immediately. Gwen is an aspiring author who works in a law office doing mundane tasks. When her boss gives her the task of taking on Miller and his kids, things get interesting. Miller is your typical broody alpha hero who is just trying to make sure his kids are okay. The kids are fun and charming throughout the book and definitely bring the story together.
You can feel the sexual tension between Miller and Gwen from the moment they meet. They fight the attraction but when they finally come together, sparks fly and burn so brightly, you’d think there was a fireworks display going off. Their building romance only leads to more tension as their lives are threatened and they must turn to others to help them, much to Miller’s apprehension.
This book has the details I needed to see it as though it was a movie playing in my head and I felt each and every emotion the characters were feeling. All in all, it was a great read that is a fully standalone novel in her book world.
Definite must read!
This was a cute read, it was action packed, the perfect enough of drama and mystery. Miller is on the run with his twin kids he saw some horrible things that the company he was working for were doing so he was going to put a stop to them until they threatened his and his kid’s lives. He gets sent to a small town, to a very questionable lawyer who is helping him and this is where he meets Gwen. There is a lot of intense moments of will they get caught, when are they going to find them, and will Miller allow Gwen and others to help him out or is he too stubborn. Miller was a broody guy and Gwen was the cute but stubborn heroine that gave him a run for his money. I loved all the different dramas, the kids, May, the chemistry between Miller and Gwen it was the perfect combination.
4 Cranky Stars
I’m going to say it did take me awhile to finish this story. It seems to cover a lot of things going on at once and maybe it’s just my brain having a hard time with it. Not the first time to be honest. It’s like romantic single dad thriller maybe but it was good. You can’t help but fall in love with Miller and his awesome kiddos. You find yourself cheering for him and his family and Gwen. You even find a soft spot for her meddling bestselling author mother May.
Miller Rush has been to war but that was a walk in the park compared to what he seen in the shipping building of his former workplace. Him and his best friend Keith uncover some incriminating evidence and set out to expose the creeps who are responsible. Sadly, that doesn’t go as plan and they must pull set off plan B and run. Miller scoops up his kids and hires a lawyer to set him up with a fake wife and the whole shebang. It’s here he finds himself in the home of Gwendolyn Courtney. A tall unassuming red head who has no real idea what she’s getting into. Miller starts to wonder if Gwen is the perfect person for this ruse. Gwen didn’t really understand what she agreed to and how deep it would take her down. She just wanted to prove to her boss that she is a good worker and deserves a better chance. Besides being a paralegal, she is also an inspiring author much like her mother. She opens her home and eventually her heart to Miller and his kids. It’s during the journey of keeping them safe and trying to make Shane and Lauren’s life normal that she learns about the mess Miller is involved in. She wants to run in fear because let’s face is Gwen is scared of a lot of things yet when the kid’s lives are on the line she steps up and gives them a mother like they’ve never known.
So hear me out the only real issue I had was at one point they are running for their lives and wanting to keep kids safe but they are banging like bunnies while the kids are like 20 steps away playing board games. Like anyone could have came in that cabin! I guess you have to stress release somehow. It’s a good story all in all. When Miller reveals what’s in the box I cringed! That was a good little part.
I love the kiddos and how well they adapted. Lauren is wise for her young age and her twin Shane is all boy with a heart of gold. I think May had good intentions by being so meddling. Gwen, she didn’t give herself enough credit, but she kicked butt when she needed too. She’s a good nurturer. I think this book would be perfect for anyone who loves mystery and romance and some sexy times filled with some cute kiddos.
Geez, what’s better than a chiseled, intelligent, super-protective perfect dad gift-of-the-gods? Yeah, I have no idea either. Miller Rush may be grizzly, snarly, and a tad hyper-tensive but as his story unfolds it all makes sense. He still manages to tick all the boxes, anyway. It turns out Papa Bear has more than one side when his family isn’t being hunted by crazed killers intent on doing unspeakable things to people he loves. That would make anybody a little grumpy, anyway.
The characters in this story are an absolute delight. Miller and Gwen light up the pages with an undeniable sexual tension with seriously bad timing. Gwen is an awesome heroine: sharp as a tack and not prone to taking grief from some Greek god who fell into her life. The kids are adorable and add wonderfully snarky humor when needed, as does Gwen’s outrageous mother. These are people you want to sit down with and get to know better. They seem like fun, and maybe a little bit crazy, too. The story line whips the reader along at a great clip, weaving an intriguing tale of corporate lies and political scheming that seem all too plausible regardless of the horrible nature of their crimes.
Bad guys, good guys, people in the shadows… it’s hard to know who to trust. Especially when your hormones aren’t even in control.
Action packed, sexy, fun, engaging and emotionally thrilling adventure filled with danger, mystery, intriguing charters, laugh out loud moments, witty banter and thrilling passion that will not be ignored…..was an edge of my seat read from beginning to end and I loved it! Excellent reading!
When you pick up a Nicole Snow novel you are guaranteed to get a book packed with action and suspense that will have you biting your nails aswell as a panty melting steamy romance…no matter the drama and hair raising danger love manages to conquer all….
Gwen never thought that a small prank on her idiotic boss would end up with her being fake married with in instant family and on the run….
Miller a papa bear will do anything to keep his kids safe even if it means having to stay with a fake wife for a few weeks….but the chemistry between them isnt fake and now Miller wants her around forever….but first he needs to prove to her romance writing mama bear of a mother that he is the man for her daughter…and accept her interference into things that could mean the death of them all…..
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
ARC review For honest review. Gwen Courtney is a associate of stork, storkley and associates in Finley grove Minnesota when she gets a phone ringing from her bosses desk but when she answers it she find Miller with his twin 10yrs old Shane and Lauren on the run being hunted after witnessing something at medervasooner coming her way . Awesome story is a awesome story that will have you turning pages once you start. Great job 10 stars
I loved this book and once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. It fast-paced and full of suspense. Danger and drama followed Miller as he and his twins went on the run from some evil people. His life took a different turn when he and his friend discoved that the company they were working for was illegally harvesting babies and body parts. Fate brings Miller and Gwen/Gingersnap together when her boss sets her up as Miller’s temporary wife.
