Dark handsome guy who says “babe” all the time has been done. Lack of originality.
The behavior of the former nun seemed to be not what one would expect of such a woman. I did enjoy the book, but found her behavior to be hard to believe.
Although billed as lighthearted… this has it’s scary, tragic moments. Having said that, I must also say that there are definitely some comedic moments, too. The fact that some, more pedantic Catholics, may be offended, at spots, should not discourage you from reading this… all is explained by the end of the book… and the door is still left cracked, for a sequel.
This book was a bit predictable and the characters were not really believable. The plot line had some holes in it that left me confused a few times. I will not be reading more books in this series or by this author.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
Predictable but cute. Good summer afternoon read.
I found this book to be an easy read. Even with the heavy understory of the motorcycle club and trafficking, it managed to not feel overly intense. It’s a love story/ finding yourself story- I enjoyed it and have already downloaded the second in the series. I can’t wait to learn more about Reese!
Something about it kept me reading, but the banter between the two was lacking. The word “Babe” was overused.
Terrible writing. Author’s lack of knowledge on the topic of nuns was painfully obvious. Editing was bad, tenses changed from sentence to sentence. Story was terrible.
an entertaining light read.
Not my style. Just couldn’t take the handsome bar owner calling the former nun “baby” every other sentence….deleted it from my collection about a third of the way through.
This book was awful as far as I am concerned. Quit reading it after about 100 pages. Can’t think of anything good to say about it.
Fun book to read.
cute story. a little over the top with the “baby” “honey” adoration but a good fun fast read.
It was a fun read… something different that is for sure.
Most of story is narrated in the first person by the lead characters Sadie and Ryder… there were some edits that got missed.. dealing with the use of correct pronouns when referring to oneself in the first person. As I was not particularly interested in the sex scenes… I just skimmed past those scenes.
Wasn’t sure I’d like a book about a . . . nun? But I found the main character to be likable and almost believable. Of course everything turns out okay in the end, but there are a few twists and turns along the way/
A sweet romance about two people from very different worlds.
Awesome book. I couldn’t put it down. Read it in a day. Easy read and really entertaining but with intrigue as well
Very slow and way too sappy for my taste- the main character is unbelievably naive, not like any nun I grew up with thru 12 years of Catholic school. I wanted to like it, but couldn’t finish it.
