This may be the best vampire story you’ll ever read! Brilliant world building, a unique story and a gentle, beautiful love story all come together to make Your Own Human a must read!
Wow! This was a really interesting book. I haven’t read any FF books before, so I wasn’t sure if I would like this, but Ade and Heather were really great. At the beginning I wasn’t sure I would like Ade, because of the way she treats Heather initially. However, I liked how they communicated. I liked how Heather stands up for herself even when she is scared. I liked how there relationship develops, and I can’t wait to for book 2!

This is the first book in the futuristic Lesbian, My Own Human Duology. It is looking into the question, can a human live in the Vampire society. After capturing Heather, a beautiful human, Adrianna finds her self drawn deeply to her. This is a world where humans are suppose to be extinct along with animals. Vampire s rule the world. Adrianna has developed feelings but how would this work? How can she possible choose between her heart and her vampire duties?
This is an interesting book that deals with a creative version of a vampire paranormal romance between a human woman and a vampire female. I enjoyed the interplay between the two main characters and the way they tried to understand how each other thinks. The storyline is easy to read. The emotional drama comes from the lack of consideration they each have for the other as they try to come to terms with what and who they are. They develop feelings for each other and deny those feelings creating a back and forth sort of relationship. This book is imaginative and the author crafts it in such as way as to make the character realistic in that they know nothing true about each other. It’s a very different kind of book but one I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed reading this book! Definitely a different take on vampires. The book was intense and sweet-a surprising combination that worked. I’m looking forward to the next book (please)
Adrianna and Heather are cheeky and funny and they are a riot. Humans made vampires but they don’t know that. Humans are extinct for all intents and purposes. When Adriana finds this human her and her father experiment on her until she realizes that she’s fallen in love with the little human. Fun read.

If you can get over the parts of this book that feel a little rushed its wonderful. Couldnt but it down and its an interesting twist on vampires. I wish there was another book in the series due to the drop of what happens next. Lots of potential for another book.
Fabulous book! Couldn’t put it down!
