A bad boy. A good girl. A second chance that could send them both up in flames.Emily was a cop’s daughter, and I was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. At eighteen, our affair was wild and completely secret. Until she left town for college and a better life, and I hit the road to nowhere.Eight years later, we’re both back in town. My father is in prison; Emily is selflessly helping her … selflessly helping her sister. We should be farther apart than we’ve ever been. But I’ve never been able to resist temptation, especially when that temptation is Emily.
I shouldn’t go near her. But I do.
She shouldn’t say yes. But she does.
Our chemistry is hotter than ever, but she’s hiding something from me. Just like I’m hiding something from her. It’s hard to tell whose secrets are more dangerous, until it all goes to hell.
I can save her – and she can save me. But we’ll have to break the rules.
We’re from different worlds. We don’t belong together.
But in the end, Emily and I are going to have to get dirty.

Love it couldn’t put it down…
Wrong side of tracks fling in high school eight years later. Emily realizes it was always more than a fling. Hard to admit in a town divided by those social “rules” we all probably had in high schoo!. Now, they call it bullying, but same effect years ago. Loved it enough to continue the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Sexy bikers…bad boys from the wrong side of the tracks. What’s not to love.
I loved this book. I thought these two main characters were perfect for each other.
I loved the characters and story line in this book.
Quick easy read got sucked in to reading the other three
I love the men in Julie Kriss books!! Emily and Luke were amazing characters, their story is just soooooo good! I read a lot and got into a rut, this book was like a breath of fresh air!
Luke may have grown up on the wrong side of the tracks, but he had some great layers! Protective, honorable, sweet, sexy, and blunt when the situation called for it. I liked him right from the start!
Emily was the good girl, with the good grades, seemed a little opinionated, and was a cop’s daughter. I took a good while to warm up to her because she could be a drama queen one minute, yet perfectly rational in the next! My one peeve was that I disliked how she treated Luke like a dirty secret. I understood her logic and Luke did too, but it was still aggravating!
I am glad I stuck it out, because I ended up really liking the story! While I would have liked to have had Luke’s family’s auto shop/chop shop and connections to organized crime explored just a smidge more, the romance more than made up for it. Luke and Emily’s relationship was all kinds of sexy in the romance department and the character growth made a lot of difference! Luke and Emily’s journey reflected…sometimes reluctant maturity in Emily’s case, and in Luke’s an epiphany that his value was more then he realized. Family dynamics on both sides provided some humorous moments-Luke’s brothers are one big mess, but their potential is big!-while Emily’s were more supportive then I expected them to be.
Oh man – this story is so erotically hot I can feel the burn… Love love love
Loves the book.
Really enjoyed this book!
I loved it
A great quick read.
This book was a good read. The characters were all great and I liked the build up with Emily and Luke. I will ne reading the remaining books.
The h took some getting use to. I felt like she was a bit of a brat at first.
This was an interesting story. You really could really get into the characters.
This was a fun fast pace book to read. I enjoyed the characters and want to read the next in the series
Second Chances
This was a great book about two people who shouldn’t be together. Luke was from the wrong side of town, Emily is the daughter of a police officer. But in high school they became a couple and hid it from everyone. She went off to college and is back now 8 years later feeling defeated and going to help her sister. He is back to run the garage none of his other brothers could, because his dad is in jail. They have a lot to work out.
The heart wants what the heart wants….
Emily Parker and Luke Riggs kept their hot, forbidden affair secret the summer before she went off to college. Emily’s the daughter of a small town cop and Luke lives on the wrong side of the track where “The Riggs” are known as disreputable. Now back in town to help her twin sister, Lauren, what are the chances of running into Luke again after so many years? The once lean, tattooed boy she left is now one muscled and sexy man she’s never forgotten and could never resist.
Luke is finally back home in Westlake. Since Mike Riggs has landed in jail, it’s up to Luke to keep his dad’s business going. But there is more to why Luke’s dad got put in jail and why Westlake PD is carefully watching the auto repair shop. With the help of his brothers, Dex, Ryan, and Jace, Luke is intent on making the business legitimate.
This time around, Luke and Emily can’t deny what’s between them. How can they keep their affair secret? There’s more than attraction, sparks fly and the sex is electrifying. Luke is one, hot dirty bad boy with a heart of gold, and Emily is beautiful, feisty, and matches Luke in every way. Just the kind of woman he’s always wanted but could never have. It’s time to claim Emily at any cost.
Drive Me Wild is a well written, page-turner about two people whose attraction is so electric that the years between them seem to melt when they cross paths again eight years later. It’s an absolutely captivating opposites-attract, sexy romance that is a winner for Julie Kriss. I just fell in love with this story and the characters. The chemistry is palpable and the ending swoon worthy. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This is the well written and, at times, quite emotional story of Luke and Emily. Emily is the good girl who went to college and dreamed of big things. Luke was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, written off by most and left behind by Emily.
The book starts 8 years ago, with Luke and Emily spending their last night together before she leaves for college. They both knew the relationship had an expiry date but why does that make Emily feel strange, and what is with Luke’s behaviour? Eight years later and they are both returning to the town they grew up in. They soon discover that the attraction they felt for each other hasn’t gone away. The discover quite a few other things too, some good and some bad. I loved how different this book felt, with both characters needing to come to terms with their lives and make some important decisions before they were ready for each other.
I really liked both characters. Emily seemed quite full of herself at first, but she also had a vulnerable side to her. Luke had been so hurt during his youth that he didn’t expect anything better for himself. Together the two made a beautiful and perfect whole, though outside forces seemed determined to prevent them having a chance at happiness.
The story held my attention, the plot had really good pace and I loved the characters in the book. I was totally drawn into Emily and Luke’s story and couldn’t believe it when I spotted that I’d nearly finished the book! There were what felt like a few loose ends (nothing huge), though I have a suspicion these will form part of the plot of future books in this series. There is a very definite conclusion to Luke and Emily’s story in this book.
These are so different to the Bad Billionaire’s series, yet contain the same quality of writing, depth of emotion and wonderful characters that I have come to expect. I highly recommend this wonderful read.
