In Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas, New York Times bestselling author Emily March presents a brand new arc set in the Lone Star State that features a family-linked trilogy within the author’s romantic series. With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to … heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. The last thing he anticipates is tumbling into love.
Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist. Soon she is drawn into the fabric of life in Eternity Springs, and as her spirit begins to heal, her strength returns, and she’s able to go toe-to-toe with this hardheaded, big-hearted Texan. But just when love blooms and happiness is within their grasp, shadows from the past threaten. Hannah and Boone must stand strong and united in order to defeat old ghosts–if they are to create a brand-new life together.

Boone is a fabulous contemporary romance by Emily March. Ms. March has once again held me hostage via book with this outstanding story. She has delivered a well-written book, the characters are absolutely perfect for this story and are my favorite thing about this book. Boone lost his wife to suicide and when he saw Hannah on the edge of Lover’s Leap he knew he had to stop her. Boone and Hannah’s tale is packed with drama, humor, spice and surprises. I loved reading Boone and look forward to my next book by Emily March. Boone is part of the Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Emily March is one of my favorite authors and once again, she has created a gem with her new book in The Eternity Springs series, Boone. I love all the characters she has created for this series and it was such a joy to once again be reading about them. Celeste Blessings is a cherished character and she has quite a large part in this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story of a second chance at love and happiness. Both main characters have a heartbreaking past and it was wonderful to see them become friends, then a couple and then a family. Truly a heartwarming lovely story that I enjoyed so much!
I want to thank St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for giving me the pleasure of reading the advanced reader copy. My review is own opinion not influenced by receiving the ARC and not under an obligation to review.
I’ve read a couple of books in this series and have enjoyed them very much, so when I was asked to review Boone, it was pretty much a no brainer. What I was expecting was a very well written book that kept me entertained, love the McBrides, but what I found with this book was a very a deepLy emotional and thought provocative story about a woman who has had a traumatic event three years prior, she doesn’t know if she can carry on in this lifetime, and a series of events brings her face to face with Boone McBride who has had his own tragedy to deal with. I absolutely loved this couple and book, the author takes you on this journey of emotional pain that leaves you in tears, teaches you about the healing nature of incredible people who have the right touch with those around them, the developing relationship between tortured hearts and how they learn to move on. No don’t get me wrong, this book had a lot of funny moments in it, but by the last page you are pretty drained because of this incredible story. Absolutely loved Celeste and the women of Eternity Springs, loved the men in Boone’s life, and loved the overall premise of this book. Very well worth the read!
I reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Boone (Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas) by Emily March
I am sad because this is book 18 0f 18 Eternity Springs… I loved this, I cried, I laughed, both Hannah and Boone have had awful tragedies in their lives and we suffer with them both as they find their way. We also get to spend time with all the wonderful characters of Eternity Springs and the McBrides of Texas. Thank you Emily for this book…and their HEA. Maybe you could write a story for all the kids as they grow up.

3.5 stars
Boone is a tale full of loss, hope and finding love.
But get your dentist on speed dial as it is so sweet you are going to get a cavity.
I am late to the Eternity Springs series, only having read one other of the books set here, so at times catching up on all the relationships is a lot to take in, but I have liked those I have met. Even if they are all up in everyone else’s business.
My heart hurt for Boone and Hannah as their story progressed, however it also makes you smile.
There was one thing though that is brought that seems to have been … should we say, forgotten? as we come to the close. I need to know what happened there, but it was just glossed over and I still shaking me head ab0ut that.
Overall and enjoyable tale, and I need to get myself back and catch up on the earlier books.
I will read more of the McBrides series in the future
This was a kind of a quick book. It was a nice story set in a wonderful sounding location. It had just the right amount of romance. I enjoyed the story and definitely recommend this series.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the early copy
Emily March writes such heartwarming and heartwrenching at once. Her books pull you in and give you all the most intense feels. This one has it in spades with loss so extreme a woman almost doesn’t survive it. But as fate would have it her path crosses that of Boone McBride who has suffered his own share of loss. In a town ‘where troubled souls find peace’ Boone is determined to help Hannah claw her way through her grief, but a shock from his past will have his life turned upside down in the most unexpected way. It seems the two barely get their footing again when they will have to reach deep for strength they aren’t sure they have.
I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want it to end.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
The ends of the earth. That’s how far I’ll go to get my hands on the latest Eternity Springs novel. Out of all the fictional worlds I’ve visited, this one is closest to my heart because every time I visit, my heart is healed a little more, whether or not I realized it needed healing. Right alongside these characters, my heart is broken, knit back together, and given wings to soar.
I always try to take my cues for what I reveal in a review from the book’s synopsis. While this book’s blurb would pique my interest, it really doesn’t reveal much about the story. And holy wow, is there ever a lot that happens in this one! I was eagerly awaiting Boone’s story, and March definitely didn’t disappoint. But dang it! There’s so much I want to tell you about – amazing, emotional, heart-rending, delicious details – that would be spoilers. But I promise, it’s an amazing read.
Boone and Hannah both have had some devastating experiences and brutal life lessons. Both need the healing that can only be found in Eternity Springs. While Boone is determined and focused and wants badly to earn his angel wings, Hannah has lost her moorings, drifting from day to day, existing in a colorless world and not really living. When the wise, prescient Celeste Blessings challenges Boone to be a light, he sees how desperately Hannah needs light in her life and rises to the challenge.
If you’ve never read a book in this series, you’re really missing out on an unparalleled romance reading experience. The town of Eternity Springs is vivid and beautiful with colorful, endearing characters, all of which welcome the reader as a new member of the family. The sense of community is strong, the meddling well-meaning, all wrapped in unconditional acceptance so that once you visit you’ll never want to leave. The books stand alone, so you can start with Boone and Hannah’s story and then catch up on any you’ve missed. Your romantic heart will thank you for the time you spend with this heartfelt, poignant, phenomenal story. And who knows? A little of Eternity Spring’s healing magic might just follow you back into the real world.
Boone’s story is entertaining, touching, serious, heartwarming, and emotional. Both Boone and Hannah have lived with loss, disappointment, and dealing with loved ones who battled with mental health issues. With each other, they discover healing and love. There’s plenty of chemistry, the help of good friends and family, an adorable baby, a rambunctious puppy, and a delightful return to Eternity Springs, as well as visits to Redemption, Texas. Excellent women’s fiction and romance!
“Boone” by Emily March
I absolutely loved this story. It is another winning read from Emily March with all the magic of Eternity Springs, CO. There were times that my eyes sprung leaks and the tissues just couldn’t keep up with the flow; and, there were chuckles along the way, too. This is a sweet clean contemporary romance story. If this is your first visit to Eternity Springs that is okay as this is a stand-a-lone read… yes there are folks from prior stories within the pages of this story. But you will be okay because everything you need to know, will be clear.
I couldn’t put this story down, well yes I had to take breaks because my eyes got tired but then I was right back into this story. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy Reading ! !
