“The Forgotten Curse is the kind of story that captures your attention form the moment you start reading. Rhys Rowlyn created a wonderful world that I never expected and it was utterly amazing. It has a mix of slow-paced and fast-paced development. Usually I crave for fast-paced stories but this one was a mixed of both that me rooting for more. Each of the characters had their uniqueness that make me fall in love with all of them. It was a very interesting story indeed. I don’t want to give you major details about about the curse and certain witch. Gale and Alyse… expect action, drama, suspense and mystery with romance. Absolutely amazing!”
This is the beginning of what promises to be an interesting Family Saga. It is a unique story with lots of adventure, family drama and heat. Alyse and Gale do not have a traditional meet/cute, nor is their romance a soft, slow build. Instead, they are thrown together in a most unorthodox way, which works to create a compelling book. The story is interesting, the characters unique and very entertaining, and the ending is sweet. A great paranormal romance with lots of heat and humor
At first I wasn’t sure that I was going to like this book, but the more I read and the more I got involved in the story and with the characters the more I couldn’t stop until I reached the end. I now cannot wait until the next book in the series is written and published. Imagine having your whole family cursed because you accidently ticked off the wrong person and then to find out that the only way to break the curse is for one of you to find your soul mate. It takes Gale two thousand years before he is summoned to the side of his soulmate and he must rescue her from being burned alive. Then he and Alyse learn that they only have a month to cement their soul bond in order for it to break the curse on Gale’s family. Not only do they have to get to know each other and learn how to give all of themselves to each other, but they are going to have to do so while avoiding the wrath of Arika, the original creator of the curse. Gale and Alyse along with Gale’s family and Alyse’s best friend, TJ, must discover the reason that Alyse’s life was in danger to begin with, fight some bad guys, and save some lives. Can they accomplish everything and create their unbreakable bond in the time allotted? Will anyone else in the family be summoned? Will the family ever be free of Arika’s wrath? You will have to read the book to learn some of the answers.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Could not put this book down!
Starts out in what felt like ancient times, this is basically to give the reader another view and it’s fun. Cut to modern times before too long and these gods navigating some very major changes while also trying to deal with this ancient curse and you get loads of action, drama and romance. The romance side of things packs in real feels and the action does manage to stay exciting throughout. There’s no shortage of heat either.
This was a super fun read that I couldn’t put down and completely provided an escape that I can’t wait to repeat.
Highly recommend.
(And how gorgeous is this cover?!)

Very interesting story, I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like it before. Gale’s family is from Greece, two thousand years ago. His brother rejected a witch and the whole family was cursed. Thankfully some sympathetic gods amended the curse, but they are still paying a price because of a spoiled witch. One task is to find their soulmate and bond. Because of a stipulation of the curse, Gale meets Alyse when she needs him most. Alyse is living half a life, just going through the motions. Meeting Gale sparks something inside her and she starts to really live again. She gets the courage to do some much needed things for her well being. There are several story arcs and mysteries to solve as well as a bigger picture at play that you get glimpses of and try to puzzle together. Really fun and interesting read. Can’t wait to see what happens next! I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.
