SydneyCollege was supposed to be my second chance. An opportunity to re-invent myself from the girl I once was.And then he showed up. Scott Sawyer. It’s like a never-ending nightmare! Of all the places he could’ve attended… quickly…?
Scott
College was going to be my break from, well, heartbreak.
But, of course whoever’s in charge of the universe has a sick sense of humor.
She’s on the same campus as me. Sydney Burton
As obnoxious and hot-headed as I remembered, but…
We’re older now. I feel…different.
Maybe this is a chance to try again?
Loose possessions is a laugh a minute story about two people who just love to hate each other.

Scott and Sydney have been rivals since they were kids. Hoping for a new start when they start college, only to realize they ended up at the same school. Now will the rivalry continue or will they realize how much they have grown.
This is a great story that picks up from the prequel. When you pick it up you will get lost in the banter between the character as they navigate their relationship.

I enjoyed this book so much!
Sydney and Scott have been rivals from the moment they first met in middle school. They grew up constantly fighting and trying to be better than the other. They both got into an amazing college and they were ready to move on and get a fresh start.. That is until Scott was the football player giving Sydney her award and they realized they went to the same college.
I loved Scott and Sydney. I think that they were very relatable. My husband and I started out as video game rivals. So I understood a lot of their banter. It was extremely entertaining to watch them try and navigate being friends instead of enemies. Neither one knew how to act around the other.
This was a sweet, clean sports romance. If that is something you enjoy than I highly recommend this book. There is also a short novella that you can read that will give you more of their rivalry while growing up!
Thank you to the author for an early copy of this book.

I was dying for Loose Possession since that ending in The Red Zone. The anticipation almost killed me.
We pick up exactly where The Red Zone leaves off, which means we start with a BANG. I adored Sydney’s knee-jerk reaction to finding out it was Scott giving her the award. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times as Sydney and Scott slowly realize they aren’t the same kids they once were. Their banter was easily the most entertaining part of the book. I was very pleased that I wasn’t sure exactly how everything would shake out at the end. It was refreshing to be surprised. It’s been a quite a while since I’ve read such a slow, sweet romance, and I truly enjoyed reading this.
Overall, Lily did a great job with Loose Possession, and I can’t wait to read the next one. I hope it’s Denise and Cooper!
The author Gave us fun and well developed characters that did not disappoint. The storyline had plenty of chemistry which made the story flow easily.

I really enjoyed this story. It is a really fast pace and entertaining read. I loved the dynamic of Sydney and Scott. There was a sweetness and innocent to them and made you root for them. For as short as the story was there was a complexity to both the story and characters that kept it from being stale.
The writing was fun and flowed really well. I really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to future books by this author

This is a part 2 so if you haven’t read Red Zone then don’t start this one until you have. It’s cute but Sydney and Scott are so unsure of themselves that they stutter a lot and it all just seems like it’s all drawn out to have the immediate HEA ending. Very good book for very young teens.
