Wonderful story! The author has brought back some of our favorite characters and introduced us to some new ones. The characters are well rounded and the story flows smoothly. If you like having a bit of laughter with your mystery, this story is for you.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love this series and the characters. They are really fleshed out especially Mama Peach. You can feel the love that she gives someone who she considers her kids. And you better not mess with them either.
This time an old friend sent his daughter to her because he needs her help. His wife has been killed and he might be blamed for it.
Now what’s funny is Mama Peach can’t stand the man. So she let’s him have in a way that is her alone. Of course Michelle and Sam go with her as back up. But if you’ve read these books you know Mama Peach can take care of herself with that pocketbook.
This book had so much going for it. It was suspenseful, intense, funny and loving as only Mama Peach makes you feel. Oh and hide the Tabasco sauce from her please.

If you know Momma Peach then get ready to laugh. I don’t think I stopped throughout the book. If you don’t then read the book at least for the laughter even if cozy mystery not your forte.
Meanwhile, they have to get to the bottom of Momma Peach and the gang go help out an old acquaintance of Momma’s. He has decided that he wants to marry her, hilarity ensues. He wants to marry her, but first they have to get to the bottom of what happened to last wife. Add old historic home and possible “Unseen People” and you have wonderful mystery.
“Unseen People” also comes from previous book but the reference in this book is clear.
This is a fast easy to read standalone book. I found it to be hilarious, whether you know the character of Momma Peach or not. Every one will enjoy this book.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Sorry about lateness of review.
impressive in her pleas for help from Mama Peach, believing her father to be an old friend to her.
Mama Peach combines heart of gold southern steel and bible faith with practicality and humor – and a swift kick in the nether regions when necessary
