Awesome book!
Being an introvert, I could relate to Rylie and Jarrett. At first, I thought Jarrett was a bit dense until I put myself in his place.
My heart went out to Rylie continually.
This is a book you won’t be disappointed in reading.
It’s clean and a great HEA!
Rylie has had feelings for Jarrett for years, but he never saw her when her twin sister Carlie was around. It wasn’t until he needed someone to temporarily marry him quickly so he could adopt Gabe from Puerto Rico who has leukemia and Carlie wasn’t available that he marries Rylie in name only. Rylie is so loving and selfless with Gabe while Carlie is selfish and self-centered that Jarrett starts to realize maybe he’s been fixated on the wrong sister. It was frustrating at times when if they were afraid to admit to each other how they felt, but that added to the drama of the story. Jarrett’s friends are hilarious especially Juanita and Finn. I feel the same way Rylie does about chocolate, but not about her other less healthy food choices. This was a clean marriage of convenience romance with plenty of sweet and funny moments.
I loved the epilogue at the end, which talks about characters from the books in this series a few years later and their expanding families. The photo shoot was hilarious.
I loved this series.
Each story was different with familiar characters.
This book was inspiring to read.
The characters were so real and perfect for their roles.
The plot was so refreshing and could not put it down.
This author never fails me with her books.
I loved this story! Both main characters are very likable and well-developed. Be prepared to experience a wide range of emotions as you read because this author knows how to make her readers get caught up in the story. I enjoyed so many things about this book: the matchmaking Hispanic grandmother that worked at a grocery store that Jarrett frequented; the fact that the billionaire made friends with the grocery clerk; Jarrett’s deep love for and desire to adopt the young boy with cancer; Jarrett’s and Rylie’s faith; and of course, the HEA and the epilogue. I don’t want to give any spoilers, so I’ll stop there, but there’s so much more to love about this story. I highly recommend that you get a copy. This can be read as a standalone, but the whole series is great, so don’t miss out. I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review to share my opinion of this excellent billionaire romance.
