We were both in schools then. He was my first crush. He was my first kiss. I couldn’t really forget that day. It was an indescribable feeling. Yet I lost him. 10 years passed, I met him again!!! Ohhh… never in my life did I think, I would have the same feelings for him still… I was busy building my career as a trauma surgeon and still single. He just had a breakup and was single now… Was … single now… Was that a coincidence?
I got a chance to mingle with him a lot this time… Those were the best days of my life… My boring life finally got some life, that was what I had thought….
But luck betrayed me once again…. He left me for the second time…
Dear God, can’t it be better? Please make it so…
Because 6 years have since passed, but still I can’t forget you, Liam…

Kate was such a moving character, so easy for me to identify with. Smart, hard-working, a “good” girl, she just wants what everyone wants – connection, love, happiness. She has a full life but remains hopeful of having more than work to fulfill her. Liam – well, Liam is frequently an ass and it would’ve been easier to understand when he was 18, but at 28 and 34, not so much. I don’t think I would’ve been as forgiving as Kate was. Enjoyable read.

I loved this book. Emma has done it again with this book!
Olivia and Logan take you on an emotional rollercoaster. I loved seeing how they came back into each other’s lives. Oliva is a super strong woman who has been through so much. She is an amazing mother to her daughter and a powerhouse at work. If you are looking for another great page-turner that will keep you on your toes I highly recommend this book!* *I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.**
The first 1/4 of the book needs some editing. 6yr. olds are not toddlers. “He set her down” then 2 paragraphs later, “Faith wiggled out of my grasp and I set her down”. “I’m won’t” ?? Here when it should have been hear. I’ve read this author before and this is not normal for her. Then someone decided to start proof reading it. The distracting mistakes were gone and I was able to really concentrate on the story. The story line is good with a couple of twists toward the end.

I love it. This is a great story for Ryan and for Kate. So much happens in the very beginning that you just have to see how it ends. I am sooo happy for Faith. It’s a hard start to a very happy ending. There are so many things that try to take away the happy ending, but they never completely let it. The fight through a lot, both together and apart.

Can’t forget you is a sweet, emotional, and passionate second chance romance story with a great storyline, drama, heartbreak, tragedy, misunderstandings, steamy chemistry, twists and turns, which all lead to love and a HEA.

This is the first time I read a book by this author and it was pretty good. I love the depths of the characters and the emotions that were in it. We start off in high school then progress to later years. You will follow Katie and Liam’s journey after their first encounter. Makes you wonder if you can really meet that one person who completes you. You will read the heartache that they go through and what they discover about each other. It is written with the right amount of speed and heat. We do get a happily ever after though.
This is the first book from the author I’m reading and it’s really interesting. I enjoyed the book, though the hero is naughty, I love the heroine , she didn’t give up despite all. I’m happy they finally got their HEA.
Thank you for sharing your book with me Emma Vikes
