First by this author and i really enjoyed this book! The characters in this was amazing, i loved that it touched on real life situations. And Renner phew definitely a hunk to add to my book boyfriend list
Tell Me What you Want is the sweet story of Renner, a man looking for a purpose in life after being injured as a bodyguard, and Cassie, a young mother trying to move forward following the death of her husband. The circumstances of their meeting is highly unusual and brings out the protector in Renner. This book is not the usual plot and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chemistry and feelings may have happened quickly, but the auther made the characters believable with an emphasis on realistic. I loved the timeline and events before Renner and Cassie found their HEA ending. 5 stars!
A beautifully written heartwarming read. Cassie just losing her husband to drunk teens in an automobile accident hires Renner to just sleep next to her so she can get some sleep. These interesting characters both needed healing for different reasons. This is a tender love story that is very emotional that had you happy they have a HEA.

A beautiful story
Renner ex bodyguard looking for a purpose and needing to be needed. After taking a bullet and loosing a client and coworker he becomes a Knight. which is an extremely high end escort. All is well and he enjoys his job until he meet Cassie. Not his usual client Cassie is a recent widow with a young son who just needs to sleep and hires Renner for a night to simply sleep with her. That’s it. Just Sleep. This throws Renner for a loop and gets him curious about the beautiful young lady. I loved how this book played out. A beautiful story for sure.

This book was quite engaging read with a great plot that allows the characters all take you along till the finale.knocked out of the ball park that I truly enjoyed
The first book in a new series and I want to read the next book in the Knights of Texas. Renner a Knight escort meets his client Cassie and then comes to know her son Landon. Cassie is trying to move forward from her husband Kyle’s death, there is so much she has to overcome before she can move forward. A well-written story that had me keeping the Kleenex close. Renner is a former Marine and bodyguard who’s now gone into the escort business, The Knights of Texas. Cassie is his new client, but she’s unlike any other client he’s ever had. For one, she only wants someone to sleep next to her in bed. You see, Cassie is a grieving widow and needs someone next to her so she can sleep. The easiest way is to hire someone. She never counted on Renner coming into her life and completely changing it, making her see past her grief to the life she can have, if she’ll only reach out and grab it, grab onto the love he’s offering her.
Gah, this book frustrated me! Cassie frustrated me, and yet, I could empathize with her and see where she was coming from. But Renner, poor lovely Renner. He’s the real star of this story. He’s so sweet and loving and is an open book to this closed off, damaged woman. I felt for him sooo much. Much more than even Cassie, who was the one who was grieving.
As this is a novella, it was a bit too short to fully develop the characters and the relationship the way I prefer. But the author still did a good job letting the reader into Renner and Cassie’s lives and hearts. I just wish we could have gotten their story in a fully realized way. Aside from that minor thing, though, I enjoyed Tell Me What You Want. It’s passionate and both Renner and Cassie are relatable, likable characters with serious chemistry.
Keep the tissues handy, just in case. There’s a couple of deeply emotional moments that caught me off-guard and left me fighting hard for my composure. Renner and Cassie are a little like oil and water together – they make sense, but it also takes some work. Cassie’s reason for needing a Knight is not one I’d ever considered before, but I can completely understand it. And Renner just epitomizes the traits of a perfect book boyfriend: compassionate, protective, loving. I want a Renner of my own.

I really enjoyed Tell Me What You Want! The whole premise is great — I love the idea of the Knights, and I really feel that although the book is quite short (can be read in one sitting; recommend before bed), the characters are still developed enough for there to be plausibility. There was a real ring of truth to the emotional aspects of each character’s story line, and there were some lovely details in it too. I’m so curious to know about Renner’s backstory — he’s an intriguing Knight! A terrific romance.
What I Loved About this Book:
This book portrays grief realistically and doesn’t pull punches when it comes to showing what it’s like to have your husband taken from you suddenly. The hero, Renner, is sexy, as well as being physically and emotionally protective. He works for an escort service, specializing in clients who desire military men. A former marine and bodyguard, protecting others is in his nature. I liked Renner and enjoyed reading about him, and I liked the premise of this book.
What Could Have Been Better:
The book is quite short. To be fair, it is billed as a novella, so I suppose I shouldn’t complain. Even so, the writing was terrific and I felt there was plenty of room to expand on the characters. I would have loved to have gotten to know the heroine, Cassie, a bit better. All we really know about her is that she was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. We don’t get much insight into her other than her grief. We don’t get to explore her hopes and dreams, her career, her past, or anything like that so it makes it a little harder to lose yourself in the romance. Renner loves her for her devotion to her family, but what else? Even though it is part of a series, the book does not end on a cliffhanger, which is good.
