The “heartstopping” conclusion to the USA Today bestselling White Monarch series.I’ve become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didn’t want. Now, I can’t fathom life without my king.I should’ve been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in … feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing could’ve prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brother’s poison, or the Calavera cartel.
This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.
But I was warned, and so were you. Death’s day always comes. This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterfly—and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

Love is, “I’d die for you.” Not, “Would you die for me?”
The third book of this Cartel Romance, Violent Triumph is the perfect ending and conclusion.
A slow burn chemistry.
Vendetta that took so many lifes.
Betrayel that Thorn brothers, love and loyalty.
Hero behind the villain mask.
A cunning evil behind the lover mask.
A Queen in the making finally stand her ground.
A love so great, they would die for each other.
An obsession so Petty, he would destroy anything to get the glory he think he deserved.
This trilogy has it all in perfect amount
I love this last book specifically because Natalia finally grow up. Watching her grow from that little girl with blinders on in previous books were pain in my behind
Understandable though
For she love so hard, she give all without question.
But still to finally see her loose that blinders and see what happened around her, to really see who’s Christiano and Diego is, to see how she carry her self like the Queen she is…. Is a proud moment!
And Christiano…. I’ll say Jessica Hawkins love him too much
This guy is perfect. I can’t see no wrong in him. The way he love Natalia. The way he push her to be strong. The way he see her, really see how great she is. I have no objection toward this man. Except one… Why Jessica Hawkins… For the lobe of all hot men in the world… Why oh why do you have to get all the slow burn aka loooong foreplay between these two until finally that “dinner” scene??? I nearly combust!
Omg this author sure know how to write slow burn and holding on the good stuff
I was ready to give four star, honest to God. Cause what they say happened to Diego is so easy for that douchecanoe.
I forgot who’s book I was reading apparently
Once again Natalia makes me proud. Love how she become the Queen and take control. No matter what the ending are, she stand her ground.
And it was such an ending!
Ohmylawwwd it’s a perfect ending!
This trilogy should be all gory bloody cartel romance! But I cried at the end!
I cried for it’s so beautiful and powerful kinda love you want for your self in real life
Tragically Beautiful is what I would to describe this book, this trilogy, this love. My heart wept. It loved. It soared. I was so invested in this book that time ceased to exist. I was dreading yet anticipating this read so bad.
The final book in the White Monarch Trilogy did terrible things to my heart. I was constantly on edge waiting for the next shoe to drop because this couple has been through so much. They are always been tested and pushed. I wanted them to finally cross that threshold and become. For Natalia to finally give into Cristiano but I was also reveling the anticipation, the sexual tension, the caresses. It was so… electrifying. I was hooked.
Natalia grew so much throughout this trilogy but in this book she soared. She was the motherf*cking Queen!!! She did not let Cristiano make decisions for her. She was his partner in every sense of the world. Even when he was trying to protect her. She stood by his side. She pushed him away and tried to keep her distance in book 1 and 2 but we could see her resolve wavering. It was so satisfying to see her finally embracing her destiny.
This book was difficult to read because this couple goes through hell and back. They have so much battle scars. I honestly did not know whether they will get their HEA. This book was so unpredictable. I did not see that ending coming. I was hoping for a fairytale ending… But I wouldn’t change a thing about this book. It was utterly perfect. It will forever be one of the best trilogies I will ever read in my lifetime.
Dios mio! I knew this series was incredible from the first book but this book blew me away with its twists and turns. I wasn’t sure what to expect however I should have known it was going to be explosive. After all, we were warned weren’t we?
El Gallo… be still my beating heart! He was EVERYTHING!!! After all, he showed us what love really is: “I’d die for you not would you die for me?” Cristiano is a force to be reckoned with. In and outside the bedroom. He is fierce, loyal, compassionate and determined in all things.
Natalia… my my… she has grown and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She is so badass! Her strength, her resolve and her love is incredible. She really comes into her own in this story.
The imagery and the symbols in this series add so much depth and meaning. I was gripped from the first page and held my breath until the last. Even when I finished the story, the characters continue to live on in my mind. It is a testament to Jessica Hawkins’ writing that she created such incredible characters and a story that captures the imagination and never lets go. The ending was unexpected and yet everything I could have wanted. If I could give this more than five stars I would. It was spectacular!
THE EPIC FINALE! Picking up where the last book left off, we see this couple fight to survive when they are attacked, and then deal with the aftermath once it is over. It is in this book we see them truly start to develop a real relationship together while also growing stronger as a united front the more they find out about the past. While we really saw most of it coming, it was still a shock and I could feel the emotions coming off the pages as we find out the truth about who killed Bianca and the reason behind it so many years ago. But we also see Natalia really grow up and becoming that butterfly in this storyline as she begins to make adult decisions and those that affect not only her but also others. I was definitely surprised at how this book ended and was a little confused, but I feel that the ending was a true Jessica signature and enjoyed it nonetheless. I could probably read almost anything that Jessica writes because I love not only her storylines but her style of writing and she makes every book and series extremely enjoyable and keeps you reading!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Violent Triumphs is the third and final book in the White Monarch series. Violent Delights and Violent Ends were incredible, but Violent Triumphs took the cake! I LOVE Jessica Hawkins’s writing so much! One of my favorite things about this series is the symbolism! The symbolism in this book alone is too much! I feel like this book did Christiano and Natalia justice. Violent Triumphs brought all the angst, action, and steaminess to the series. This book was everything I wanted and so much more! Jessica outdid herself with this book let alone this series!
Book Three in the series and it did not disappoint! All the feels with this roller coaster of a thrill ride. But the ending is gahhhhh. Loved it!
This book is the third and final piece in Cristiano and Natalia’s story. What an incredible journey this trilogy has taken readers on. This series has been an epic roller coaster ride that has tracks that not only lift you to the highest highs and drop you to the lowest lows but has twists and turns that take you into a hall of mirrors where things are not what they seem and then through the house of horrors where nail-biting tension and anxiety will become your constant companions. Natalia And Cristiano have stolen my heart and I have enjoyed every angst filled and heartachingly dramatic second in the evolution of their relationship. If you are looking for a series that will totally ensnare you in its web with a complex blend of intense emotions, stunning shockers and an all the feels inducing love story, then you need to grab book one and start reading right Now! Trust me, you will not be sorry.
I love how Jessica Hawkins brought Natalia’s metamorphosis that had been developing to a full butterfly effect!
Natalia had thought her future was planned out for her previously but the interconnected events of the past brought about a future she never expected.
I loved the evolution that Cristiano and Natalia’s relationship took. It was not rushed and led them to a life they had not planned. In essence, the power to change their world. My metaphorical use of the butterfly effect is not to say that they went from a calm cartel life to chaos but rather the opposite.
Jessica Hawkins is undeniably the Queen of Angst! In this story her depiction of certain events had my heart in my stomach fluttering at record speed! I will not give any spoilers as I strongly recommend you read this trilogy to experience the gamut of emotions and feel the effects of the White Monarch!
Violent Triumphs by Jessica Hawkins an unflappable five-star read. This is number three in the White Monarch series and reading them in order will give you the best reading experience that will astound you. Do not start this one unless you have the time to finish it, you will call in sick or call out as you won’t be able to put this down. I loved the series but this one just transcended the rest, my jaw was dropped and my heart pounding, this whole story just left me breathless and in awe of the writing talents of Jessica Hawkins, I knew she was talented as she wrote one of my all-time favourite reads in the Something In the way series, but this one may have just nudged it down a peg. The drama and revenge is so intense that you can almost taste it, they say revenge is a dish best served cold, but Jessica Hawkins shows it doesn’t have to be, do not miss this series.
The third and final book of the White Monarch series had me carrying my Kindle everywhere, as if I might miss something while I tended to tasks that were keeping me from my story! 😉 That’s how much I’ve anticipated this finale, and for me it did not disappoint. Natalia and Cristiano’s story caught and kept my attention, page after page. “You said Diego loved you, but you’re wrong, Natalia. Love is ‘I’d die for you,not ‘would you die for me?” Oh, Cristiano, the alpha with all the angst, so skillfully created by Jessica Hawkins. This tale of love, loss, revenge, and triumphs feels like a Greek tragedy. Andale, muy pronto, y leealo! 😉 <3
The best of the series!
I’m totally beyond exhaustion, but with a very satisfied smile. This book couldn’t land fast enough in my kindle and I couldn’t start reading it soon enough.
What an incredible joy ride!!
Intense, sultry and exciting. Secrets revealed I’m just disappointed the series is over!
Th is author brilliantly created characters that had me falling in love with them, even when I didn’t want to!
A must read!
This conclusion has left me speechless. It is a roller coaster of emotions and as much as I loved it, I feel like I need a visit with the counselor to recover. Well done and worth the wait.
