The stern alien expects her absolute obedience.Nova doesn’t want to leave home, but she doesn’t have a choice. The dome-cities on Earth need reactor material and the Tarrkuans are willing to provide it–in exchange for a steady supply of fertile human females, that is. Chosen by her own people, Nova must leave Earth and become the bride of a huge, fierce looking alien named Zylonn. Not long after … Zylonn.
Not long after her arrival on Tarrkua, Zylonn catches her speaking out against the trade agreement, and the no-nonsense alien scolds her and promises her a strapping. His stern words both surprise her and leave her quivering with anticipation. Will the handsome blue alien really punish her on their wedding night? And does he really expect her to call him Master?
Zylonn has been waiting for his human bride his entire life. One glance at Nova and he knows the reluctant female is meant to be his. She’s the loveliest creature he’s ever seen, and he can’t stop stroking her beautiful golden hair or staring into her expressive blue eyes. He’s shocked by her rebellious behavior, but he’s determined to tame her, claim her, and make her his in every possible way.
A passion that knows no bounds soon flourishes between Zylonn and his precious little human. Once is never enough. He’s driven to claim her again and again, and her sweet surrender calms the darkest parts of him. But when an old enemy threatens their union, he’s forced to reveal a secret side of himself no one has ever seen. Can Zylonn protect the little human who holds his heart?

Loved it
This is a wonderful story full of passion and romance. Zylonn and Nova are endearing characters with great chemistry.
It’s a steamy book to read an unusual love story
This book had a couple of sex scenes that were adult but otherwise I found the writing to be dull and unrealistic. If you took the sex out it could have been written by a middle school student
This was an average read. The flow was typical in that the female character was very subservient to the male similar to a 1940s era. The series was similar with other women who wanted a better and different life bc the life each were living was so limited they were open to being a ‘stepfird’ wife.
I liked the book. Zylonn is very dominant.
I didn’t think Nova would be so wishy washy. But it makes her who she is. Some phrases were repeated to many times, but you csn look past it.
This book was an awesome read! Page turner!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is well written and easy to get into the world of Tarrkua. Nova was raised with the knowledge that she would be a human bride for a Tarrkuan. She promised herself before going to Tarrkua that she would not have any feelings for her alien husband. She initially thought Zylonn was a hard master (as she was taught to call her husband) but it wasn’t long before she knew she loved him. Zylonn knew from the beginning he would cherish and protect Nova for his lifetime. There’s enough ups and downs they have to get through before that love blossoms for them both. Great read!
something different
It was a kind of good book.To go from home to being owned and having her punishment on day one .I don’t think I would have been as nice ,loving or forgiving. It is a easy read!
It could have been so much better without the “master “. It just takes away from relationship building. Just a personal opinion.
Story line bad. No real true emotion but fear of being punished.
Sorry, what a lot of rubbish!
Great read
A contract between Earth and the Tarrkuan’s, brings Nova as a bride to Zylonn. Her first meeting was awful and no way to start this relationship, however, they worked towards their HEA. This is a great story with interesting characters and lots of heat to start off this series. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
I found this first book that I have read from this author to be a quick, about an hour, easy read. It was relaxing and easy to follow. I was quickly absorbed into the world the author created and the characters are likable. I shall look out for more books by this author.

Ummmm, I’m just gonna be brave and say it……I’ll take one big blue alien to go please!!!! He can be my Dominant any time, especially the way he loves her.
I know it’s not for everyone but if I can’t get lost in a story and go to new places or worlds……what’s the point of reading? I get enough real life every day, give me a Sue Lyndon book to escape in and I’m happy.
Loved the story. It is well written, entertaining and a fairly quick read. Nova is to be a human bride for Zylonn as part of a yearly agreement between their two planets. Thru adjustments on each of their parts, they find the love that they both want. It is a great read and I would highly recommend this book.
This is a real gem of a book that slowly draws the reader into a beautifully told, well written story of love and life. The story keeps you interested until the last page. It has humor, suspense, fast paced, romance, BDSM elements and a true awakening for Sue Lyndon’s main characters: Nova, an earth woman, who has no choice but to be a Tarkkuan bride and mate to the HOT, sexy, blue alien, Zylonn, a Tarkkuan because of the trade agreement between the two planets.
Nova accepts her fate and resolves not to have feelings in this arranged marriage, Zylonn has worked hard to earn enough credits to be rewarded with a bride but he never expects to love her. Well, this is where it gets tricky. LOL Yes, the attraction is immediate, they try to deny it, and one wonders how long that will last.
He is generous and gives her whatever he can to help her adjust to this new life with him. She is scared but is willing to try her best to be all that Zylonn would want in a wife/mate. Danger threatens them, secrets are discovered but they are close enough now, to handle it and the electricity between them sizzles. Sue Lyndon is an amazing story teller, who throughout the book keeps us on edge while not making it mundane and predictable.
Intergalactic romance
Really enjoyed this saucy sci-fi romance. Nova is getting ready to meet her husband. She’s been betrothed since she was young. She is part of a treaty between Earth and Tarrku, providing them with brides while they provide resources Earth needs. Nova’s heard stories about Tarrkuans and she’s nervous. Pledging to do her duty but not falling for the her Tarrkuan husband. Zylonn has earned his bride, Nova. Their first interaction and she’s already breaking rules and must pay the consequences. Zylonn is not above ‘disciplining his bride when needed but he won’t really hurt her. He promises to protect her always. An arranged marriage becomes more with each act of kindness from each of them.
Zylonn had to work in an asteroid belt as a miner. They worked for a quota then they earned themselves a human bride. The day finally came when he earned his bride. Nova was told and taught her duties as a bride. She misbehaved and was unknowingly caught by her new husband. On her wedding night she was first punished then made love to be Zylonn. Over time she came to love him and he came to love her.
