I am Zuvok the Terror. Feared soldier of the Trident Alliance. And I will not do housework!I relish the fury of combat. I love the adrenaline as I kill my enemies. Blood drips from my hands.Until I go too far.So my commanders send me a foe that I never expected. My bride.A comely, curvy, human woman. A princess. She must be insane. She has to be if she agreed to be my mail order bride. But I don’t … agreed to be my mail order bride.
But I don’t want a bride. Zuvok the Terror will not be tamed. He will not be civilized!
He will not hang balloon valances on windows with pastel hued drapes.
He will not dry dishes as she washes them!
He will not sweep before he mops the floors!
But then, this tiny human woman does something more powerful than a killing blow from an Odex wielding a power-blade.
She gets on her tip toes and wraps her arms around me, squeezing herself to me. She coos. And giggles.
And kisses me on my nose.
And my heart melts for her.
Zuvok the Terror? More like Zuvok the Terrier.
Damn humans.
Zuvok is the fourth book in the Alliance Mail Order Bride science fiction romance series within the wider Athenaverse. It can be read as a standalone, but it still shares the same universe and situations you’ve found in other books. Each book features the romance of an alpha male alien warrior and a human woman who doesn’t put up with any nonsense. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and HEA guaranteed.

Athena Storm’s Zuvok: A Science Fiction Romance (Trident Alliance Mail Order Brides Book 4) is total escapist pleasure. Zuvok the Terror May indeed end up be Zuvok the Terrier in the hands of escaped princess Alundra, but Alundra is in for mich more than she bargained for, too. As for we readers? Total reading pleasure and easy to recommend.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. This series is really unbelievably fantastic. Zuvok is a Vakutan warrior, he was given a human bride, something Zuvok did not want. This book was a rollercoaster ride with emotions.

Zuvok the Terror has had one to many spontaneous outbursts. No heeding the information given to cease and desist he continues to barrel through a practice run do you want to training session. As a result he is forced to get married to try to control his anger management and temper. His bride happens to be a princess and also seems to have her own version of anger management issues. Zuvok but does not want to be tamed nor does he believe that he needs a ride. There is resistance and then there is extremely crazy steamy scenes that contradict their actions. Funny, adventurous and well develop characters. HEA hello cliffhangers.

Zuvok is a Vakutan warrior and it’s all he knows. He has gained the moniker of Zuvok the Terror. He is stubborn, head strong and arrogant and when he screw up, he SCREWS UP. After his latest infraction he gets an ultimatum. Take a mail order companion or lose his career. Needless to say, he takes the companion.
Alundra is a princess (48th in line for the throne) that has been sold off to an ancient cousin to be married. That is the straw that broke her camel’s back. It was too funny how she made her elderly cousin chase her in a maze while she escaped. She signed up to be a bride and requested an Alzhon and is furious she ended up with Zuvok.
This is really funny. Zuvok speaks about himself in 3rd person and is so proud of his title as the blood thirsty, battle ready “Terror”. At one point he tries to exchange her and was informed flat out that no other women would have him. Alundra was the only candidate.
I love how flabbergasted he was that she was not impressed or afraid of him. She immediately began to change his whole life starting with cleaning his house and demanding he help. Lo and behold, he did!
Without giving away anything, the best part was Alundra’s efforts with “Crabby”. That changed her whole life yet again.
If you like alpha males and the females that tame them, steamy times and plenty of laughs, this is the book for you. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
