After the devastating events at Zodiac Academy, we have to deal with this darker world we’re faced with.Lionel seeks to hurt us, the Nymphs seek to hurt the entire Fae race, and between all of it, we just have to try and survive each day as it comes.I’m afraid of everything falling apart, but it looks like it already has.

Zodiac Academy 5: Cursed Fates (Supernatural Beasts and Bullies #5)
This series … It’s delicious & Cruel!!
I was filled with both hope & utter despair, for Darcy & Tory, in this book. My head & heart are reeling from the cruelty of the stars and fate right now! There are amazing parts in it which show us true friendship, love & romance with acts of kindness, understanding & giving. But on the flip side we’re shown jealousy, resentment & revenge of the most vile & undeserving kind.
I’m not sure how they’ll all carry on from here. I’m not sure how much more my poor heart can take! There were some great secrets revealed! New alliances were forged in the flames of heart break & betrayal while a new enemy arrived on Academy grounds. I’m hopeful Caleb & Seth can finally just admit they’re in love with each other & be happy! The same for Max & Gerry. Is anyone else hoping Sophia picks Xavier as her herds Dom next year? As for the Vega twins & their men … I live on hopes & dreams that the Elysian Mate bond will kick back in for the star crossed pair & arrive for the other two and that it will save them all!!
I was swept up in this series & world again, by these Authors. They’ve truly gripped me with the characters they’ve created & the situations they’re all put in, time & time again. It’s thrilling, awful, exciting, heart breaking, pulse pounding and so much more! I would really like things to start going in the right direction now though. It’s getting too much having Lionel winning constantly! The loss of their friend & what has happened to Tory was the final straw for me!!
Roll on book #6 asap

I mean all relationships go through some tough times… but yeah these authors know how to make me suffer. And at the same time I love them for it, because it is what makes this book so special. I love how all the different characters are presented with their own challenges and developments. I loved how the characters started to work together a bit… and don’t get me started on everything between Tory and Darius. I am rooting for them and I hope they somehow will overcome everything that has happened and probably will happen. When you think the story is going a certain way.. don’t get your hopes up. Chances are that something completely different will happen. I think that’s what I also love about this series so far. The authors know how to surprise you and keep you craving… It’s not just a want anymore.. I am straight up addicted and craving for more from this series.
A lot of my reviews are also available with photo at my Bookstagram: @justmyfantasyworld
I adore this series and all of the characters, even Lionel, who I love to hate. The character development and the heartbreaking plot were 10/10 and I couldn’t stop reading. Absolutely bingeworthy.
So have you survived book 4? Did you make it past that ending? Now that we are onto book 5; this is personally where I feel like this story begins to some even brighter then the amazing writing we have previously seen. This book is where we begging to see some of the absolute best character growth and development that I have ever seen in a series or book. Seriously! It is just amazing to see how these characters change and evolve.
As with every other book isn’t his series, you will go through the full gamut of emotions. You will get angry & there are areas you will want to cry, but you will also find so many hilarious moments too.
This series is one of my all time favorites! You will have a multitude of buttery bagels to eat and you will be horny for the horn. Also be sure to watch out for that slippery sea bass, he just might surprise you.
This is definitely a book series to read!
“Zodiac Academy: Cursed Fates” is book five in the Supernatural Bullies & Beasts series co-authored by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. Told in multiple povs by Darcy, Tory, Orion, Darius, Max, Seth, Caleb and Xavier. Previous books need to be read prior. Ends on a cliffhanger.
This is one of the hardest reviews I have written in a long time, so much happens in this book that deserves recognition but without giving anything away, is where things get tricky. So I am just going to talk about my feelings and this is probably going to end up being cryptic and confusing. But stick it through.
I had so many mixed emotions going into this book, after the cliffhanger in ZA: Shadow Princess, I had no idea what to expect. Orion is bleeding out after his sister attacked him, Darcy is trying to get help, Darius is heartbroken and Tory is her usual selfish self. I was hyped, nervous, angry, scared, frustrated, excited and emotional when I picked this up and I can tell you that the feelings you had at the end of ZA: SP will be amplified and continue over a few chapters in this book.
I will say this, I think I’m going to have to give the rest of this series a break for now. Tory’s attitude and constant whining is doing my head in, I know that the ending of this book was horrible and a massive cliffhanger. But with Tory being in trouble I can tell the next book is going to be all about her and no offence but I think everyone has sacrificed enough to try and clean up her mess. Come on Darcy has lost so much and no one seems to be doing anything to help her. But Troy screws up with her divine moment and literally everyone is trying to rectify it. Sorry rant about Troy over, (I hope) she just irks me…
My heart continues to break for Orion and Darcy, these two deserve so much happiness. But unfortunately the stars are not in their favour and things take a nose dive and continue to go horrible for them. I’m still rooting for them to get a Divine Moment, not sure how it’s going to happen with how things take place in this book. But please Caroline and Susanne give them a HEA.
Darius and Tory, I’m not sure where to start with these two. Both are just as stubborn, pig headed and selfish. But I did feel terrible for Darius, as it seemed that no matter what he did, Tory continues to be a biatch. Just when things were starting to look go there is a twist and bam, back to square one. Darius is trying to make up for his horrible acts he did against both Tory and Darcy, but Tory is just as much to blame, yet she continues to play the victim. Now I’m not saying what Darius did was acceptable, but Tory can’t make the decision she did then get all teary and emotional when it hurts and blame Darius for it all. Cause at the end of it all, she was the one that said no.
Now Seth makes a real turn around in this book, remember when I said in a previous review he needed another flee infestation, well I take it back. But I’m hoping he doesn’t hurt Darcy again. I loved seeing the Vega Twins and Heir working together in this book, the bond between them is getting stronger and maybe, just maybe the vision that Orion was trying to mention to Darius in ZA: SP might just come true.
Lost of revelations and secrets are revealed in this book. But we are still left with lots of questions and mystery. But for now I think I’m going to say goodbye to Solaria and come back later as I don’t feel as I will be able to enjoy it with the way I feel about Tory.
Thank you to these wonderful authors for bringing this world, story and characters to life and giving us this series that I don’t think I will ever be able to forget.
I rarely cry during books and I definitely cried multiple times during this one, especially the first few chapters and then again at the end. No matter how many people told me I was going to be wrecked, I was not ready for it.
The Vega Twins are forced to deal with fallout from various actions throughout the book. Both are gut-wrenching. Stronger bonds are formed between the characters. It’s nice to see different sides of all of them. New revelations have come to light with the reveal of old family secrets. I need to know what happens in Fated Throne, then I will be suffering with the rest of you until the final book.
I mean to say this during every review and I forget, but Geraldine is life! She is definitely one of my favorite characters in the series.
What an incredible world Solaria is! Amazing characters who I have grown so fond of, because they’ve really had to work to get in the princesses good graces! A few characters I’d love to throat punch too! What a well written, exciting series!! I love it and don’t know what took me so long to start it!
This series is everything. I have yet to read a series that is as engaing and thrilling as this one. The character and their stories are each unique and extremely engaging, the chemistry between all the individual characters are flesged out beautifully. The angst and the suspense, the world building. All are top notch.
Love anything Caroline and Susanne. The growth of the characters, the story line the heartache.. this book is everything
I am not sure where to start…. first off thank you Caroline and Susanne for creating this world so that I can totally fall in love and escape reality for a while.
This book will make you laugh, cry, scream and yell and keep wanting more. You will be on a rollercoaster ride from the stars, see growth, passion and pain, some from people you were not expecting it from.
This is one series that should come with a warning label saying highly addictive
I honestly have no idea where to start with this amazing book! First, it is book five in the series and you definitely need to read books 1-4 first!
This book is definitely NOT for the faint of heart. I had to pull up my big girl panties for this one and it still left me utterly shook. The characters are back and better than ever! The mysteries and bombs that are dropped on us again leave us surprised. An action packed and fast read. Had me hooked from page one and still has my mind reeling. Such an emotional roller coaster ride this book keeps us on. I definitely recommend this series! You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to see where these characters go and end up. I love watching them grow and change as the books go on.
