I’ve spent a lot of years as a hit-it-and-quit-it player only seeking a good time. As Vice President of the Lost Kings Motorcycle Club, willing women are never in short supply.I never needed any of them for long.Until I met her.My perfect woman. Like a mermaid, she was beautiful, smart, and hard to hold onto.I thought I’d convinced her we’d be good together long-term, but then she disappeared … she disappeared without a word.
Almost three years.
That’s how long it’s been since I saw her.
Just as I finally moved on, my mythical woman resurfaces.
She forgot to mention one little thing before she vanished.
One small secret growing up into a big lie.
It’s a betrayal too big to overcome.
I should hate her.
Even though she’s heartbreak wrapped in a seductive package.
I want her more than ever.
Zero Tolerance is part one of a trilogy.

Once I started this book I could not put it down!! Z’s story was the one I have been waiting for!
I so wanted to hate Lily for leaving Z and doing what she did but I couldn’t help but love her, but god does she frustrate me! She this sexy AF man who SHOULD hate her but doesn’t, who still wants her and she can’t be honest with him…grrrrrr
AJL has knocked it out of the park with Z’s story. It is so hard to write this review without raving and giving it all away!
As always the banter and relationships between the Lost Kings keep me amused and enamoured. They are one big family. The brothers are hard when they need to be but turn to soft mush with their women. Totally swoon-worthy <3
After the cliffhanger at the end of this book I want the next instalment now. Took me a while to pick my jaw up off the floor and stop cursing!
OMG… this book is AMAZING. I swear each book gets better and better. I have seriously fell in love with Z and Lilly! I think Lilly is my new favorite! And Z, how much hotness can one guy have? Autumn you have just blown me away with every book you have written but I think this one is my favorite! How in the world am I suppose to wait till May for Zero Regret??? Thank you for giving us the LOST KINGS!!!
Autumn has done it again (but I never doubted it), a wonderful plot, all the characters we love, plus Z and Lilly are getting THEIR story. I can’t do a review that does justice to the story, so all I’ll say is, get it and read it. You won’t be disappointed. My only complaint is that, while it doesn’t end on a major cliffhanger, we have to wait until May to get the rest of the story.
Z’s finally here!! After what seemed like an impossible wait I finally have my man’s story. I was giddy like a school girl in anticipation of this book and it did not disappoint. This book just reinforced why Z is my favorite LOKI.
What I love most about this series and what keeps me coming back is the fact that Autumn explores her characters and allow them room to make mistakes, to grow and to learn (like real life) and Z and Lily are not different. These two oozed chemistry from the moment they first meet and you just knew they were something special if they could just get out of their own way. But fear has a way of ruining the best of things and it looked like these two were done before they even started.
Forgiveness and Letting go played a huge part in this book and I loved out Autumn went there in this book. Z had a lot of anger (and justifiably so) but he had a decision to make in this book, does he live in his righteous anger or does he allow forgiveness to lead and fight not for being right, but for what he really loves. Z’s choices showed how a real man leads in life and with his family.
Z had so many swoony moments in this book. I didn’t think I could love this man anymore but he proved just how much of a real man he is throughout this book. His interactions with Chance were freaking adorable and had me tearing up throughout the book.
Z’s journey with Lily was just amazing. It isn’t always easy with these two and I often think the universe is conspiring against them but it’s quite clear they love each other. Throughout this book, they have to learn to heal together and to trust not only themselves but each other. These two will have to walk through fire in order to be together, but fire forges an unbreakable bond and it might just be worth getting burned.
*********Author provided a review copy*********
First I have to say I have loved all of her books, that being said…Autumn you pulled every little emotion out in this one, can’t mention what, don’t want to spoil it for others. Oh yeah, already pre-ordered Zero Regret. Keep em coming. 🙂
Where do I start with this review……. First I will say that I missed out on on kick arse MC series and I am going to go back and start at the beginning so I know what is going on. Yes you can read this as a stand alone I guess but there were some things in the story that had me think huh what the hell where did that come from who the hell are these people and the club I just love the club so much!
The club sticks by the ones they love and they do right by family which means whoever is a part of the club. This is Z and Lilly’s story and boy oh boy what a story it is. I mean I had no idea what was going on but as I was reading I started to get what was going on. Z as the Vice President is in love with Lilly and they have it all until she leaves and disappears for two years. Z is devastated by her leaving with no forwarding address or anything. Then as he is getting over her she comes back into his life with a secret she has kept for two years.
What will Z do? Will he forgive her and move on with her? or will he just leave her alone and move on to a different life? I need the next book like ASAP so I can have answers to all my questions!
Pure perfection!
This book was the perfect blend of passion, grit and emotions!
Zero Tolerance is appropriately titled by the way. At the end of After Glow, there was a major bombshell dropped and this story unfolds shortly after that scene. That development sets the tone for the rest of this read. Secrets and betrayals have lasting consequences for everyone involved.
Can trust be restored?
In short, this is a story about love, trust and forgiveness.
Heart pounding, and exciting, I was totally captivating by this new installment. I have loved Z’s character since his introduction as a secondary character in Slow Burn. Although he was somewhat of an enigma, it was always apparent there was more to this badass pure alpha caveman MC godness. I always suspected there was more to his character, and this book had me falling for his character even more.
As the story develops and Z discovers that he’s been fabulously betrayed and the big question is why?
But more importantly, can Z handle the whole truth?
This story affirmed Z’s true grit. He proved to himself, and those closer to him just how important family and brotherhood are.
Emotional, intense, my heart broke for him as the build up and suspense evolves in this story. Z proves how strongly he wants to make things right with his brothers in the Lost Kings and his personal life.
This story flowed seamlessly as Z’s patience and integrity are tested over and over again as he’s forced to juggle new personal and club developments.
There are lessons he’s forced to learn quickly in and out of the club.
Can he do it?
Doe he want to?
You must read and find out, and get ready for more!
Zero and his Siren are finally here and totally worth the wait! And now, the wait begins for Zero Regret, part two of this duet. We all know that Z is just too much for one book!! I always knew that Z would be a big hearted lovebug! LOL! It’s so awesome to finally get to see inside the heart and mind of the club’s VP. We loved him without all these juicy details, but now we get to feel how deeply he is connected to those around him. Swoon. As for “the other woman”… well, Z’s ONE and ONLY woman, I just know there is a reason behind everything that has gone on. I don’t know what it is, but I am positive Autumn won’t leave us hanging too long!
Oh my gawd!!! What the heck! I did not see that coming! So much craziness packed into this book! I am dying to know what happened to lily while she was gone but I’m loving the ride to get there! Z is quickly winning my heart and lily is so far not making me hate her! Lol Chance is so freaking adorable! I love seeing all the kids get together too! This is getting so good and I can’t wait for the other half of Z and Lilly’s story! Another smash Autumn!!
Have mercy. Z (my Z) is definitely one bad biker. I mean come on. We all love a bad boy alpha. Sexy, strong and sturdy, with a body full of ink!! Z is all that and more!!!
Lost King’s is my all time favorite MC series and it just keeps getting better!!!
Angus Frazier aka Z. How I love thee. I’ve been waiting for your book patiently and it was worth the wait. Omg did I love and enjoy Zero Tolerance because of this incredible ensemble of characters. From day one or should I say book one have I loved them and my love continues to grow with every book.
Z has been missing a piece. A certain someone for two years and she’s finally back in his life. Lilly left Z without saying goodbye and now she’s back with a little someone. A tiny version of Z and man is he a cutie. Lilly’s reason for leaving and her way back in Z’s good graces isn’t easy.
It was such an exciting and intense journey watching Z and Lilly finding their way back to one another. If it’s even possible with Lilly holding back on certain issues. Especially her reason for leaving. Also Z figuring out fatherhood was sweet and so much fun. Lilly is such a strong heroine and knows how to bring Z to his knees. One things for certain Z and Lilly’s chemistry is stronger and more potent than ever. Have mercy! They are hot and amazing together.
The rest of The Lost King crew play a huge role as usual because they’re brothers and family above all. They’re supportive and them busting each other’s chops always make me laugh. Guaranteed.
To the author Autumn Jones Lake. That ending! Not cool;) You can’t leave me hanging like that. I need more Loki. More Z and Lilly. More of everything. I’m just glad that this series keeps topping the previous one. I couldn’t ask for more. Now the waiting begins for Zero Regret.
5 Siren Stars
Finally we are getting Z/”Zero” and Lilly’s story! I have been waiting for this story for so long and apart from the fact that it’s not quite finished here (that’s right peeps, this is a 3 book tale) I was not disappointed. Lilly has returned to New York after living in California for the past three years, bringing her secrets home with her. Of course Z is just who we know him to be and he instantly wants to insert himself into her world again and despite being furious at her for leaving, he’s also glad to have the love of his life back too. Will he be able to forgive her secrets though? Will she be staying in NY or going back to CA? Why did she leave in the first place after they seemed to be moving forward with their relationship? So many questions need to be answered!!!
Ahhhhh Zero’s story is here at last, yay! While I’m a little disappointed that we don’t get the full story, (only because I’m greedy and I want it all and I want it right now, lol) there was plenty of drama, twists and turns, bedroom action and omg the ending to get us by while we wait for Zero Regret. I really enjoyed this and can’t wait to see how it’s all going to end and hopefully get all the answers to my questions, I just hope the wait for part two isn’t too long. I give Zero Tolerance 5 stars.
Ohhhhhh Z, how happy are we that Z is finally getting his HEA? It feels like we’ve been watching this love story with him and Lilly play out for a hundred years, I mean he is book number twelve! That’s what I love more than anything about Autumn Jones Lakes writing, yes we are on book number twelve of her Lost Kings MC series, but I have never questioned whether she is going to deliver, her characters are just that damn good.
Zero Tolerance brings a lot of changes for not only Z but all the LOKI brothers. The moment the book starts Z’s life is turned upside down and backward. And once you start to get used to the changes, here comes something else, shaking up the club more, changing life paths again. I loved finding out more about Z and his life in and outside of the club. Learning Lilly’s background helped ease some of the anxiety that I had for her and Z ending up together and I had a lot of it. It’s funny how Autumn always seems to know what we need even if it’s not necessarily what we want. Of course, we are going to have to wait just a little longer before Z and Lilly get their happily ever after, instead, we have to survive on happy for now.
LMAO …. so THAT happened … I don’t even know how to review this book. There is absolutely nothing I can tell you about the story-line and NOT because I think it will give anything away, but because Autumn Jones Lake left us with more questions than answers!!!
I spent almost every moment I read this story anxious, trying to figure out what was what and who was what and what happened to …. I know you feel what I’m saying here. Every single time I was sure I knew something, no I didn’t! And I still know nothing. Except maybe who Chance’s parents are LOL but that’s it! #JesusSaveMeFromThisWoman
If you’re starting your Lost Kings journey with this book, you’re ridiculous. You have to start from the beginning. But if you don’t want to go back 11 books, you should at least read the free prequel to this book, Zero Hour (A Prequel to Zero Tolerance): Lost Kings MC. It will at least give you a little background on Z and Lilly.
I’ve said this before (11+ times actually lol) but it’s worth repeating .. Autumn is really good at what she does. And what she does is suck you into a story so you find yourself not sleeping or even eating until you are thru. She doesn’t write superficial stories. They are layered with depth that you don’t even realize until BAM, surprise! She is thorough is her story-telling, leaving no stone unturned. You may have questions right now, but I can promise you that you will not have them after Zero Regret: Z and Lilly, Part Two.
This series is so much more than just journeys to HEA for people. It’s a journey of the Lost Kings MC as well. It’s a journey of family. These men and woman are unwavering in their commitment to one another. They stand together no matter the consequences and they do what needs to be done to protect their family. This is not a club, it’s a family, so do yourself a favor and start at the beginning. It’s worth the time. #TRUST
If you’re wondering if this ends in a cliffhanger, have no fear, it does! But it’s really more of a pause/surprise. The entire book is a surprise LOL Honestly, I don’t know any more right now than I did when I started this book … I can’t really tell you the questions I had because that would give away the plot so …. until May 🙂
Bravo Autumn Bravo
We finally get to see VP Z of the Lost Kings book with Lilly and boy let me tell you this book was absolutely worth the wait I have been waiting patiently for Zs book and I couldn’t put it down and now I’m still reeling from it. We know that Lilly ups and moves away and has Z baby and he is absolutely furious that she hid it from him for 2 years but she’s back and so much happens in this book that it will blow your mind. I am a Lilly and Z fan and I’m just absolutely speechless right now. This is absolutely one hell of a book and Autumn is one hell of a writer . I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for more. I’m still blown away lol
Congratulations Autumn for allowing me to read zero tolerance arc for my honest review and can you say mind blown lol
I still can’t believe this is book 12 and finally Z’s book I have been waiting patiently for his story since slow burn, Autumn I am in awe of your writing and your ability to draw people in, keep storylines fresh and not repetitive which for a long series is hard to do. Z and Lily’s story is finally here and although the wait to Zero Regret is going to kill me off it’ll be worth it, this book will grip you from page one so please make no plans once you start page one because the lost kings world isn’t something you can put down if only temporarily and reading about Z between the sheets hot damn
I freaking LOVE Z!!!! Z short for Zero is the Vice President of The Lost Kings MC! Lilly is one of Hopes best friends that we met in Slow Burn book 1 and on again off again booty call to Z. In the last book Zero Hour they were making plans of being together when all of a sudden Lily disappears. 2 years later she shows back up with a surprise! Z is still totally into her, he can’t help it, but can he forgive her for this huge betrayal?
Autumn Jones Lake created the character Zero and every word she writes keeps me turning the page for more. Must read his story.
A Much Needed Splash of Rage Cooling Water… Going into “Zero Tolerance”, the first of three books by Autumn Jones Lake devoted to Lost Kings MC (LOKI) characters Zero and Lilly, I wanted to hate Lilly, I really did. After the ending of “After Glow”, white hot rage ran through my belly at her betrayal. And even reliving the sweet moments of their meeting and budding relationship revisited in the prequel to this trilogy, “Zero Hour” did little to quell the growing, murderous fury growing within me the more I thought about things. For the first time I fully, whole bodily understood the LOKI motto, “blood or money”. But not for the same reasons other reviewers have written about. My anger at Lilly wasn’t really about how she treated Z, no my issue, was her making a choice like that for her child.
I grew up with a mother who took my choices away. Who used me as a pawn against my father to hurt him for things that had nothing to do with me. She spent years telling lie after lie, story after exaggerated story, moving around every few years to stay ahead of my father, purposely keeping him off balance and angry. It infected my entire family and was a horrible way to grow up. And worse, never once, did she ever consider how all of her actions affected us. Neither did the rest of my family, and ultimately me and my brother were the ones who suffered the most. And because of my own childhood experiences my soul ignited with pure fury when I read those last few paragraphs of “After Glow”. BUT, then I read this book, and my anger cooled as I gained a different perspective.
This book is the calming bear hug forcibly given in order to shock you out of your anger and back into rational understanding.
Is Lilly telling the whole truth about the “why’s” and the “what happened’s” in the two plus years she was gone? No, no she isn’t. Is it obvious she is still hiding a truck load of secrets? Hell. Yes. However, it is also clear she is afraid, of something. That her actions, the ones I initially found completely indefensible, were driven not by selfishness, anger, or an inner desire to cause harm, but out of fear. These tiny revelations, set deeply amidst the chaotic “other” events going on within this book are Lake’s way of reminding us all that, in reality, life happens often times because of split-second decisions made in the heat of a single moment buried within the life swirling around you. And these admissions, placed carefully and lovingly by Lake throughout this installment, is why she is truly a master at her craft.
Even though “Zero Tolerance” is her 16th installment and 12th full-length novel within the LOKI series, she still takes her time. She strolls unapologetically through her prose at a pace she deems necessary. All in order to properly guide us through the feral maze of our own emotions as we react to characters, and circumstances, she has so methodically and passionately created for us.
She could have easily made Zero and Lilly’s story a duo, or even a giant sixty-something chapter single like she did with “More Than Miles”, but she doesn’t. She doesn’t because she knew this first book was the needed cooling off period her readers would need. She knew it was needed to allow me, and other readers like me, to at the very least, start to understand things from Lilly’s point of view. To show us, remind us all, that things are not always what they seem. And that we should not rush to judgement just yet…because there is so much more to this story, so very much still left unseen, so very much still unknown, and so very many truths and fears Lilly must come to terms with before everything can be truly understood and Z can be allowed to be happy with HIS queen. And as his road name implies, he is the only one capable of seeing past her secrets and half truths. He is the only one capable of diving down deep within Lilly’s past and her soul to uncover the real truth and set their world right.
SO, on to the second book in their story, “Zero Regret” I go, with a bit less hate in my heart, a new found respect for Z, and a lot more compassion for Lilly’s plight. Let’s see if this new found compassion lasts or if Lake has yet another emotional twist up her sleeve for my LOKI battered heart.
O M G .. waited for this book to come out, tried to read slowly, couldnt put it down. Autumn Jones Lake has done it again. This is about Zero (Z) and Lily. if you havent read the series,
Zero Hour (A Prequel to Zero Tolerance) is a must, it is about a few encounters between Z and Lily, and then Lily disappears. Zero Tolerance is when Lily returns.
Autumn has something with her writing that keeps us wanting more, pulls you in, you will laugh cry scream….Love her writing…as Im sure others will say, cant wait for May for Zero Regret
