Love happens when you least expect it. So does heartbreak.
I thought we were finally done with the lies. Secrets? Sure, Lilly’s still holding on to plenty of those. My perfect woman is secrets buried under beautiful layers of deception. She’s the seductive siren bent on destroying my heart. It doesn’t make me want her any less. Just like before, she’s an addiction I can’t break. I’ll never learn … learn my lesson when it comes to her.
But I refuse to ever let her go. One by one I’ll unlock all her secrets. I love a challenge. And I’ve never followed the rules. Now that she’s back in my life, she’s mine forever. And anyone who hurts or threatens her better prepare to die.

I absolutely love, love Z!!!! I love the fact that this author takes the time to tell each individual character’s story and she is doing this with Z in 3 full length novels which Zero Regret is part two. I devoured this book in one sitting and it kept my attention from beginning to end. Usually I get this distracted by work or the TV but when a book by Ms. Lake comes out I definitely know I will not be distracted. I am so invested in this series that when this author writes a book I devour it that day. I also love how the entire MC is so devoted to their partners, family and of course each other. I can’t wait for the conclusion of Lily and Z’s story in Zero Apologies! I highly recommend this book and of course this entire series!!
Absolutely Amazing!!!!! I couldn’t put it down. Autumn just keeps getting better and better as the Loki series progresses. And the emotions this book brings to the table are off the charts Can’t wait to see where the next book takes us. A must read for anyone that loves the MC life!!!
Wow this one kept me on edge!!!! Like all Autumns books do, but this will be a top favorite! I love Z and his dedication to doing what’s right and what’s best for the Lost Kings. His dedication to the ones he loves is amazing. He fights for Lily and their son and to make everything right, nothing will stop him! The emotions in the book gives you all the feels, I love it!!!!
As Z work’s hard to settle his upside down life, he works hard on bringing out all of Lily’s secrets that she is holding tight. Will she open up and let him in? Can he understand her past and her choices while making head way for the future?
Autumn has created a world that feels like you could step right in. And meet any of her characters at a local bar.
Autumn Jones Lake, you have ruined me for other authors! Lost Kings MC is an amazing series. It gets better with each book you write.
I couldn’t put ‘Zero Regret’ down until I finished it. I was ready to read it again as soon as I was done. I love the protective male characters and the women kick ass!!! I am Jonesing for the next book in July!!!
Another outstanding story by Autumn Jones Lake, she is an amazing storyteller whom has taken us on a journey with the Lost Kings MC that has been exciting, suspenseful, humorous, and beautiful. Z and Lilly’s story was no exception. I think I fell more in love with Z in this book, he is caring, loving, and patient. Lets not forget that he’s an alpha male who do anything to protect everyone he loves. Z and Lilly are perfectly imperfect together. Riding along with these men and women of LOKI will make you feel like you are apart of their family. I thoroughly enjoyed every single second of this story. Can’t wait for what comes next.
Another awesome book in the LOKI series!! Totally love Z and Lilly . Couldn’t wait for this book to come out, read it in one sitting right away And already pre ordered the next one!! Keep writing about our favorite bikers Autumn Jones Lake!!
This is part two in Z and Lily’s story make sure you read in order to fully enjoy. I was glad to see things worked out as they did. The story still leaves you with some questions that hopefully will be answered in book three. I can’t wait to read the next book. If you enjoy Autumn’s books you will love this story.
Z and Lily!! Just wow, book number 13, it doesn’t get any better than that!! Hands down my favorite MC series!!!
I can’t even,..Autumn Jones Lake, you’ve done it again! Ended this book on such a cliffhanger and now we have to wait until August 8! I love these books and the LOKI world. These women are strong and don’t put up with much and the guys so love their girls! I really disliked Lilly, thinking she jerked Z around, but after 3 books, I better understand her. Teller and Charlotte were my number 2 after Rock and Hope, but I think Z and Lilly’s are my second best! Again another great book in the LOKI world.
I have “Zero Regrets” for being one of Autumn Jones Lake’s avid followers. Just when you thought there was no way she could keep her readers fully invested in the LOKI world (I mean, really, this is the thirteenth book in the series and surely we’ve seen and read everything, right? TOTALLY WRONG), Autumn keeps the roller coaster of emotions in overdrive and leaves you wanting MORE. Zero Regrets is the second in the Zero Trilogy, so yes, there is a bit of a cliffhanger (grrrr!), but interestingly, I found myself “okay” with waiting for the next book (which really should be released tomorrow … lol!). Lilly and Zero are a dynamic couple with undeniable chemistry. They bring out the best in each other. Past lies come back to haunt both, but past lies make them “stronger together”. This series is a MUST READ. You can’t put the books down – no word of a lie – you are totally immersed into the LOKI world – you are a first hand observer right in with every scene. Autumn’s books are most definitely the best kind of addiction!
you guys …. I’m starting a little black book list of authors that CANNOT BE TRUSTED … fucking hell I have feelings right now!
Okay, so this happened … at this point, I’m just gonna write that in every review of this series LOL. #JesusSaveMeFromThisWoman! There are a lot of questions from Zero Tolerance (Z & Lilly’s beginning(ish)) that are answered in Zero Regret, HOWEVER, the author leaves you with like a bazzillion OTHER unanswered questions. THIS is why she can’t be trusted LOL
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I really enjoy reading this author’s work. She’s a consistent author and her storytelling talent is unrivaled. I’ve never read an author that can detail a journey as well as she does and not bore me to pieces. I mean she is detailed people. Her books are not short LOL And even when you think a journey is locked down … think again 😉 lol She doesn’t make it easy on her readers. And honestly, she never disappoints.
I’ve been waiting for Zero’s journey for a long time. He’s never taken center stage in any book, but we met him 13 books ago LOL and we also met Lilly a looooong time ago. From the moment they landed on the page together SO MANY BOOKS AGO (lol) I have known they belong together. However, Autumn hasn’t made it easy, for them or for me! There are times that I had doubt, and Autumn could still pull a fast one, but I doubt it.
The stories that make up this series are not always journeys to HEA for two people. They’re club journeys. They’re life journeys. They’re all kinds of journeys. That’s what Autumn does spectacularly well. SOOOOOO, if you’re even thinking of starting this series anywhere but at the beginning, you’re just ridiculous. I mean you can, but no. Don’t do it. Every book has a purpose and every book adds a new layer and dimension to the Lost Kings MC. As much as these books are about people, they are equally and sometimes even more so about the brotherhood and sisterhood of the Lost Kings MC.
I’m going to assume that if you’re reading this review and/or book, you’ve at least read Zero Tolerance so this should not be a spoiler for you … Zero Tolerance began and solidified Z and Lilly’s HEA. I have no doubt in my mind about that. I mean, yes, it could be argued that it was left as a HNF/kinda in the air at the end of the book, but if you think that, then you weren’t paying attention. You’re probably thinking that if that was the case, why TWO more books about these two beautiful people? Well, that would be because they have more story left to layer and unfold. <<<< THAT is why it is so important for readers to start at the beginning. No one's story is ever finished because that's just not how Autumn writes. And Z and Lilly, in particular, have a lot of layers that need to be uncovered and a lot of growth as individuals and as a couple that need to be fleshed out to us, the readers. So enjoy the ride. It's a bumpy one for sure, but this author ridiculously talented so I know you will enjoy it! #BetMe
Autumn Jones Lake’s Lost Kings series is one of my favorites and she hasn’t done anything to change that opinion with this book. The writing is excellent which makes the reading easy, but the plot twists will have you stopping to try to figure out where she is going. There are some new characters, from the Downstate club, that I hope we will see more of. But at heart, this story is about Z and Lilly, and boy does it get intense. I always believed in Lilly and I wasn’t disappointed with the explanation/s. My only complaint is that we were left with a mini-cliffhanger and now have to wait until August for the grand finale. Thank you, Autumn, for another engrossing story that took me away from the mundane and into a magical story land.
Just like the rest of books in this series Autumn doesn’t hold back and that’s one of the many things that makes this series so special. Zero Tolerance ended with most of clutching our heads praying for more pages, there weren’t but it was well worth the wait.
So much happens in this book I better shut up now (already deleted/re written most of this) but one click this book now so that you can join one hell of a ride.
Now to not so patiently wait for the next one.
Autumn Jones Lake has an extraordinary way of hooking you in from page one, the wait for Zero Regret was a painful one but it’s a wait I’d endure all over again as Z and Lilly’s gripping love story fails to disappoint, well done autumn on a brilliant new release
Can I just say I am sooo happy this turned into a trilogy of sorts because I love Z and Lily! This book has all the feels! I went through tons of emotions while reading and was squealing OMG a lot! Lol Z is getting deeper and deeper into the downstate chapter in this book and is dealing with a lot of different and difficult situations. He’s also learning more and more about Lilly’s past and what really happened. Lily is getting more comfortable in her role as an Old Lady and getting closer to the gang while her and Z settle more into their domesticated life with Chance. I just love this group of characters so much and Autumns writing is stellar! You definitely want to read this book ASAP! Can’t wait for the 3rd part of Z and Lily!
Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better, there’s this book. Z’s character really comes through in this book. It makes me want to be BFF’s with all the old ladies and live in this wonderful LOKI world. Even the dark parts of the story are written So we’ll that nothing that is dark within this book seems evil, but everything is about love and respect. Once again Autumn delivered a great read! Also, I personally love that there are so many stories she can develop that hopefully this series will last for years and years!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Thirteen books in the Lost King Series and Autumn Jones Lake can still surprise me in the best ways. Zero Regret is the second book in Angus “Zero” or “Z” Frazier, Vice President of the Lost Kings Motorcycle Club, story.
I am such a massive fan of Autums because she has a way of telling a story that makes you feel like you are part of it. I never skim pages or skip chapters, and I am entirely invested from the first chapter until I’ve read through the author notes. I devoured Zero Regret in one sitting and was shocked when I realized I had just blown through 49 chapters!
Without giving any spoilers away, this is what you are going to get from Zero Regret, in a nutshell. Fantastic writing and storytelling, in-depth characters, hot and steamy scenes, suspense, drama but best of all loyalty, love, and family. Oh and the ending. Well, you’ll have to read Zero Regret to see.
Omg I am absolutely blown away from this book . Lilly and Z are trying to work things out and z is acting President downstate when things get crazy and it will take you to the edge of your seat and just when you think things are going good with them Bam something else happens. Autumn has a great way of writing Z s story and let me tell you it’s a roller coaster ride of emotions and now I’m trying to process what the hell just happened lol. Yes we have to wait for the next book but damn I still cant get my heart to settle down lol.kuddles Autumn on another Amazing Zs Story.
A Worthy Second Book for Zero & Lilly… “Zero Regrets” is Autumn Jones Lake’s 17th installment and 13th full-length novel of her Lost Kings MC series. It is also the 2nd in her trilogy devoted to club vice president, Angus “Zero” Frasier and Lilly. And, unlike the other books in the Lost Kings (LOKI) series, this one is very, very busy. Like, blink-and-you-will-miss-some-crucial-aspect-of-the-plotline, busy. There are so many revelations, interactions (shady and otherwise), crazy adventures, heartfelt talks, decisions, twists, turns, and outright “wtf” moments, I had to slow down my normal reading pace so as not to miss a moment of the action.
This one is a test of endurance and will have you feeling like you just ran a marathon when you finally get to the last page. And honestly, after the slower, more guarded tone of the first, this one was a bit overwhelming.
Where “Zero Tolerance” was a necessary cooling off period, this one is a rocket launch straight into chaos. Where the first focused mostly on Z and Lilly, this one includes almost the whole LOKI landscape. Downstate, upstate, Lilly’s family, Sway, Shadow, Priest and National…, Z is slammed right smack in the middle of it all. And as if where he lands and why isn’t insane enough, Lilly’s unraveling pile of secrets explodes his world further and his mind beyond anything in his life, ever, which sets Z on a path that is both terrifying and exhilarating.
“Zero Regret” is a punishing literary ride that is both exciting and exhausting. And despite not fully understanding or liking the beyond rapid fire pacing of this installment, I did LOVE the darker, more intense grittiness of it!
Here, Lake treats us to a much bloodier, shadier, more realistically criminal side of club life. She reminds us that despite upstate being more “enlightened” than most, being more cuddly and swoon inducing, they are still outlaw bikers. They are punishing and dangerous, they deflect and outright hide things, they plot murder and mayhem, act as judge, jury, and executioner, and keep secrets from their old ladies in order to complete club business and protect what’s theirs, especially their women.
It is probably one of the bolder portrayals of club life Lake has offered yet, and it was a refreshing and welcome look at the bigger picture. I thoroughly enjoyed the step away from the softer side of my favorite LOKI men. Lake’s more brutal approach in this book brought them back, closer to reality, and allowed me to see all of their facets in more detail rather than just their relationships with their chosen women. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading the banter and heartfelt ups and downs of Rock and Hope, Wrath and Trinity, Murphy and Heidi, etc., but Zero and Lilly’s story has offered a more complex, complete view of what a relationship within the LOKI world would truly entail.
A worthy second book for Zero and Lilly and a wonderful addition to the LOKI story arc overall. I can’t wait to read the next one.
