Zero Divergence, noun: no deviation from a course or standard.
After a key piece of evidence goes missing, a suspected serial rapist and killer evades prosecution. More than Royce Locke’s reputation is on the line when his investigation into the failed chain of custody suggests Franco Humphries might’ve had inside help. There’s no one Royce trusts more than Sawyer Key to help him right a wrong … a wrong and uncover the traitor in their midst, but can they do it before the Savannah Strangler strikes again?
Relentless plus fearless equals flawless. Sawyer and Royce have come full circle—from hostile strangers to best friends and lovers. Neither a sniper’s bullet nor an arsonist’s fire could keep them apart, but what about a psychopath hell-bent on revenge? The stakes are high, and there’s no turning back now because the zero hour is upon them. Tick tock.
Zero Divergence is the conclusion to the best-selling Zero Hour series, which follows Locke and Key’s investigations and evolving relationship. This is a series you MUST read in order. It contains mature language and sexual content intended for adults 18 and older.
Trigger warning: Part of the storyline involves coming to terms with a friend’s suicide, which may be difficult for some people to read.

What an ending to a stunning trilogy! I devoured this book just like the previous ones. Written in dual POV, this book is absolutely not a standalone.
Royce and Sawyer are so good together. They have changed each others life for good. I love the bickering and banter between them. This book has got the suspense, action, steamy sex scenes and a couple of saps who are so in love with each other!
Royce with his matchmaking tactics is me whenever I see potential for two people who might end up getting a story, be it book or tv. I am really curiousabout the new chief.(#forevershipping)
I cannot wait for the spinoff series and I’m glad we’ll still get to see Asshole and Dickhead, even though they are not the main characters.
Highly recommended this trilogy to fans of romantic suspense!

The guys are back! And in style like you wouldn’t believe!
There is suspence, action, hot guys and aaaaaaall the feels! Loved how balanced the book is and how well it is written! You cant help but be all in!
This is the third book in the Zero Hour series and the books really need to be read in order if you want to fully appreciate the story.
I have to start by saying that I am a big fan of Walker and that I have loved all her books. But Locke and Key, and this series, are definitely my favorites. I also must add that this series is a different path on her literary journey and I love that she took the risk and that it paid off so well. I’m not surprised since she is such a great author and good storytelling and character development are a signature of her books but she herself said that these kinds of stories were out of her wheelhouse. Clearly her wheelhouse has expanded!
This book picks up shortly after the action in book two. Sawyer is coming home from the hospital where he has been recovering from the burns suffered at the end of that book. Royce has been promoted and there is a new chief of police, Mendoza. Rigby being gone is going to be an adjustment for Royce. And he’s not too thrilled about being back to work without Sawyer.
The story here involves them revisiting serial killer Franco Humphries’ case. The killer is being released from jail because key evidence went missing. Mendoza charges Royce with finding evidence to lock him back up again but doing it subtly as Humphries is suing the police department and the city.
The suspense is well done. The mystery builds well with a couple plausible red herrings. Once the villain is unmasked the action builds well to the climactic moment which is suspenseful and action packed. The book is an exhilarating read which I did in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down.
There are some great secondary characters introduced and I really wish this was going to be an ongoing series. I was so bummed going into reading that this was the end. The author’s note at the end gave me hope though. While this story arc for Locke and Key is complete, they will still make appearances in some other stories. Plus, a new series will feature three of the main secondary characters from this series. I am really looking forward to those books.
*I voluntarily read an ARC, and this is my objective review *
Zero Divergence has topped my list at number one for the year and yes I know it’s only March.
Author Aimee Nicole Walker did a fantastic job with police procedure, the technical aspect of it drew me on right from the beginning from the very first book. With all these books in the series the cases are indepth, and will keep you engaged the moment you start reading.
The conclusion to the why’s of what happened to Royce’s partner and best friend was heartbreaking but I’m so glad that he was able to get closure and start healing.
Then there’s the explosive love between Royce and Sawyer, true partners in every sense of the word these two men are absolutely fantastic together. Sweet, loving and so damn swoon worthy, a romance exactly like it should be written.
I highly recommend the Zero Hour series!!!!!
What a ride Mrs Walker took us on with this series!!
Zero Divergence was everything I expected in the conclusion to Locke and Key’s trilogy.
This book, like the other two, had me on the edge of my seat.
With an ongoing mystery to solve, Sawyer and Royce work together with a few trust associates to form “Operation Venus Flytrap”.
This book (and series) has it all! The story telling is fantastic, the characters are lovable, the writing is outstanding, oh, the sexy times between the MCs – hawt!
I love these guys!! I love their banter. I love their nicknames for each other. I love their shenanigans!
I was so pleased to see that although Locke and Key’s arc is completed, Mrs Walker has more planned for us from the guys.. and I for one, can’t wait!!
Locke and Key #relationshipgoals
I absolutely love this series. It is a must read then read it again and again. Book 3 picks up where book 2 left off. It grabs you from the very first page. Full of suspense, action, humor, smart-assery, and hot sexy times. Sawyer and Royce prove if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen whether it’s bring criminals to justice or find your person and live happily ever after. I highly recommend the entire series. Even though this series has come to a close, I can’t wait to see what the author has in store next.
Awe my heart! I loved this book, so good. Full of action to get your heart pumping fast & not wanting to book Ereader down. I so can’t forget the steamy scenes & heartfelt moments. I so didn’t cry until I read last page in second last chapter. I smiled big at the ending. I So love Royce & Sawyer , I’ll miss them so. Great ending for the trilogy. Sad the book series is over but excited to read the spin off series. A Must Read but you have to read first to books in order.
Zero Hour Series Book 1-3
This crime fighting detectives series is awesome. I loved the whole mysterioussness of these stories and trying to figure out for myself who the criminals were. I also loved reading about the developing friendship/relationship of Sawyer and Royce. Their story is interesting, hot, loving and so much more. What added to their story was Royce trying to uncover the truth about his dead partner and best friend. I absolutely loved their last names too: Locke and Key. I know it’s cliche but i still love it!! This author is new to me I believe. I will be adding her to my list of favorite MM romance authors!
Playing for keeps
Royce and Sawyer are everything. Their connection, love, nicknames and bickering makes me so happy. I am a big fan of kitchen dancing and locker rooms after this series. Who knew Royce was such a matchmaker and I loved seeing all the layers of him and Sawyer unpeeled. “I will always choose you.” Gah, these two are so sweet when they aren’t trying and even more when they are. I am so honored we were able to watch them fall in love and grow as a couple. They are a bit of trouble magnets though so I hope the next few months are calmer for them. They have a special place in my heart and I am so excited to see what’s next in this world and can’t wait for Jonah’s, Felix’s and Rocky’s books!
Zero Divergence gives the readers everything they could possibly want. There is action galore! There is romance that will melt your heart! There is heat and passion that will burn you up! There is enough intrigue to keep you on your toes throughout the story.
I just love the dynamics between Sawyer and Royce. The chemistry and connection between these two jumps off the page and right into the readers heart. I love the humor that they share. Those nicknames!!!! The trust and adoration each has for the other is amazing. The evolution of their love is wonderful to see.
The gang of secondary characters add so much to the story. I can’t wait to see some of them get their own books. I’m looking forward to wherever this series takes me!
