A Struggling Scientist
Zephyr knows that human civilization has been irrevocably altered since the vampire kidnappings and murders. Even if the dragons can distribute the vampire vaccine in time, it might already be too late for the human race. While preparing to deliver the vaccine, he is confronted by a woman he never believed he’d meet. The moment Maia walks into the House of Storms looking for protection, Zephyr’s inner dragon is sure she was the one.
An Inconclusive Match
When Zephyr runs the mating analysis, the results are indeterminable. The couple believes in the analysis, so a confirmation of their mating is important to them both. But soon it becomes evident that they will never have scientific proof of what their inner beasts demand is true. Pushed to the brink by the vampires, humans, and his own inner dragon, Zephyr must make a choice between his heart and his head. Can this logical scientist follow his feelings, claim his mate, and save the world? Or will he let his rigid beliefs rob him of everything he’s ever wanted?

Zephyr is another great dragon shifter romance in the Dragon Guardians series. It was a nice wrap-up, providing good closure to the series. The only drawback is the frequency / amount of writing errors that tend to become frustrating. Better editing and this would definitely be a 5 star read!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
It was a great book!
Maia asks Zephyr for protection.
They are attracted to each other, but is it a true mating ?
Danger comes and Zephyr will have to make a decision.
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Maia is the Dragonian Princess who knew it was her destiny to birth dagonkin for all of the houses. she is also a member of the House of Tides whose Prince is holding her prisoner and has told all the houses including her own brother that she died during the birthing of the dragonkin. After storming out of the house, no pun intended he arrives looking over the ocean where a storm is picking up and his dragon goes beserk, all Zephyr can understand is she is our mate and in danger but Zephyr only follows logic and facts so he blows this off besides there is no woman near him.

What book probably the best of this series. Definitely a Must Read!
Having to leave his Planet Dragonia when the sun died the Prince and his Warriors of the House of Storm traveled the galaxy in search of a planet to habitat. When they found a primitive planet, they seeded the land with the souls of their ancestors in hopes that someday Dragon Souls would be born.
Zephyr Storm is a science officer for the House of Storm. He is feeling antsy, like he missing something. But when a guest appears asking for help he realize what he must do. PROTECT!
Maia Tides of the house of Tides is the only Dragoness who has given birth to one dragonkin per house then succumbed or did she?
What a fantastic series!!! Super sad that the series has come to end but what a fabulous conclusion for the house of storm. Definitely wasn’t expecting the surprise twist. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance. Looking forward to future book on the other dragon houses. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I have been with these guys since the beginning and I’m really gonna miss them. When I started this book I couldn’t wait to see who fate had in store for Zephyr. When I found out, I was estatic! Maia, the Dragoness Prime, they all thought dead, knew the moment she laid eyes on him what the situation was. I wanted to throttle Zephyr for not listening to his dragon and depending on “scientific results”. They kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was tickled pink that all of the other Houses stood behind Maia after her escape. This was a perfect ending and I think the Prince of Tides got off pretty easy after all he had done. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Fabulous Conclusion!
As much as I’m going to miss these guys, I love this conclusion. Who knows maybe Ms. Grove will bring them back later, after all, with all the Houses awakened they have to find their Dragon Souls right?
Zephyr has been trying to find the vaccine to eradicate the damage the evil vampires have plaguing the world. He has never once thought of finding his mate, who has the time? But during one of his flights in dragon form he scents something in the air he can’t identify and then when he walks into his house he is literally brought to his knees when he scents and then sees the vision in front of him. But it can’t be the Dragoness Prime was declared dead and she is his mate, if his dragon can be believed!
Maia the Dragoness Prime has been in stasis for a million years, but now that she has awakened all she wishes is to see her children and find her own mate…She was born to love and that is what she will do. When she seeks help at the House of Storm with her daughter, she finds the mate she has been longing for, but her sacrifice all those years ago may keep her from her fated mate.
All the Houses unite to spread the vaccine that will save the earth from the dreaded vampires.
Thank you for such a wonderful series Ms. Grove and I sincerely hope to one day read more about the brave Dragonians.
A sweet conclusion to a wonderful series. Zephyr is a shifter scientist who hasn’t found his mate yet. He hears his mate calling him for help. Turns out the last female dragon, Maia, everyone thought had died, is still alive and his mate. The dragons rely on a mating analysis to determine your mate. When Zephyr runs the mating analysis, the results are indeterminable. Maia and Zephyr know in their hearts they are true mates. But can they go against tradition?
Wonderful series.
I voluntarily received this arc in exchange for an honest opinion.
I enjoyed this book that ties together the series quite well. Maia is an unexpected surprise as everyone thought she was dead.
I really liked her and her strength to serve her desire to protect others. She and Zephyr make a great couple. He has such a strong desire to do what is right and it challenges them when they have to wait to see if they are mates. The authors builds the intimacy and connection between them and it is worth the wait.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
Facts were important to take decisions and the word inconclusive only brought doubts. Does Zephyr had not found his mate? Struggling with a not so honorable prince threatening to cause havoc, which were Maia’s odds to be claimed by her mate? Liked the suspense and the intriguing situation Zephyr and Maia were dealing with. Logic and honor guide them. Action, betrayal, strong emotions and passion in this entertaining story that I liked.
What a delightful read to conclude the House of Storm series. I have yet to read one of Ms. Groves’s books that I don’t like, and this one is no exception. Her characters are a gem, and the tales she creates are full of humor, excitement, suspense and love.
In this episode, we have the pleasure of meeting Maia, the Dragoness Prime, long believed dead. Her struggles to maintain her optimism are fierce, as she plans her escape and search for her own “true love”.
Zephyr has been on a mission to save the human race, but when push comes to shove, will he be able to save himself? Will he finally meet his destined mate and be able to enjoy the life of peace and love?
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
Maka is the last female dragon. She is the Dragoness Prime. This’s book is part of a series of books about shifter alien dragons who le with their greatest enemy the vampires. They also become aware that they can have human mates. These stories are written very well and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!!
This is a wonderfully written series with tons of action, passion and drama. Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone but you will get a much more enjoyable time if you read them all. I really loved finally getting to meet the dragoness Prime and it was so sweet to see hard working Zephyr finally getting his HEA.
Maia is the last Dragoness Prime, thought to have died after giving birth to the last pure dragons of Dragonia. The Prince of Tides made sure that everyone thought Maia had died so he could claim her as his mate, by force if necessary. Zephyr, a dragon of the House of Storms, has yet to find his fated mate, but he is more concerned with finding a way to distribute the vaccine that will protect humans and Dragon Souls at the moment, and doesn’t think he has the time to look for his mate. He thought he could wait, then Maia came to the House of Storms asking for protection from her prince, and his dragon made it clear that she was their mate. The threat of vampire retaliation, and human world war won’t keep Maia apart for long.
Absolutely wonderful, and sexy characters who find love in spite of the lies, and threats from someone they thought was trustworthy. Exciting and well written conclusion to a fantastic series. I loved it!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and nonincentivized review of this ARC.
This is by far my favorite book of the series!
A fitting conclusion to a series I really liked.
Zephyr has spent his time trying to find a way to save humankind from the Vampire enemy. The others have found their mates. Yet, something is calling to him. Not close. Not visible but something important.
How could he recognize the caller when they all thought she was dead. The last adult female dragon had born a dragon from each house in the kingdom before their planet exploded and they all escaped to wait a million years to try to begin a new civilization. Maia died from the stress of the 14 egg delivery. OR DID SHE? All the princes and all the houses thought she had. What they didn’t know is that she was kidnapped and has been kept on one of the ships with her dragon child and her child’s father.
He demands she mate with him. They are not fated, mates. It was a sterile scientific creation of the children. She remains untouched. She wants to see her other children and find love–real love. Could she be the voice Zephyr hears? Could he be her mate?
A fitting end to a wonderful series.
Can love overcome science? Zephyr and Maia feel the mating pull, but the testing comes back inconclusive. Can they overcome all odds and find love with one another, or will the misguided Current, the dragon who keep Maia captive, destroy Zephyr and Maia’s newfound romance?
