Great action, good story, good character.
I was totally immersed in this book. Good writing. It was like I was there. Couldn’t put it down. Will definitely read this author’s other books.
Ty Patterson really knows how to put together a suspense-filled read, so if you haven’t discovered his thrillers yet, now’s a good time to jump in – this one is just $0.99 right now. If you like a lone hero battling overwhelming odds, you’ll love Zeb!
I love all the Zeb Carter books and I have read them all!
I love the Zeb Carter books as well as the other characters.
The characters are outstanding. THe way they respond to emergency actions is quite thrilling to read. The action sequesnces are very on the edge of you seat. I want the rest in the series NOW! Great read, and action packed.
Ty Patterson’s new book is a two-for. First it brings back Zeb Carter, one of my favorite Patterson character from his Warrior series (We readers have been patiently awaiting the next book with Zeb). And two, it’s the start of a new series with Zeb Carter as the main character.
In this book, Zeb is interviewed by Pentagon generals who are seeking a lone-wolf covert operative whom we find out is needed to rescue five Delta Force members who are missing in Afghanistan.
Of course Zeb is selected and the adventure starts with this one man killing machine infiltrating the country only to find out they have been captured by Atash Mohammed, a ruthless Taliban warlord.
The adventure moves quickly with surprises galore as Zeb attempts to track down the missing operators and deal with Mohammed.
We are glad the Zeb is back!
Another great yarn about one of the coolest agents around. Patterson is a great writer and his descriptions of Afghanistan bring the country to life.
This book is not a military adventure, not a spy thriller but both and neither. It is absolutely the best example of the genre that I have read in quite some time. If you see a book by Ty Patterson, buy it. You will be glad you did.
Zen rocks!
I really enjoyed reading it. There was enough action to keep it interesting and yet enough background information so I didn’t get lost
