“ON YOUR KNEES, PET.”Taramina could survive slavery, even as a pet in Prium’s Intergalactic Emporium. She always knew she’d escape. She just didn’t know escape would come in the form of a powerful handsome male of her own species. Especially one whose rough handling incites a fever in her she hasn’t felt before. But she intends to make a fresh start, which means severing ties with the dominant … ties with the dominant Zandian who once held her collar and a leash. The male who knows just how to master her.
No, she can’t be his pet. Not after what she’s been through.
So why does she keep coming back for more?

Still can’t believe that I’ve made it till the seventh installment. An addictive series
The Master at Arms found out his daughters survived the battle of their planet. Terramina also known as Mina works at a brothel. The Zandian who found her feels guilty at how he treated her at the brothel and in his love her. He wants to keep her as his mate but doesn’t know how to tell her dad what happened between them.
This is an HEA.
A page turning addiction!
This saga just keeps getting better as it builds layers! Mina is lost but saves herself. Erikk didn’t know what he was looking for until he found her. These two have an instant connection but they fight it. Their relationship is a work in progress. The action is spread throughout the story, and you will lose sleep from not wanting to put it down.
Trained as a sex pet, Mina has not forgotten her roots. When she hears about the colony of Zandian refugees, her only goal is to find her way to that pod. When Erick shows up where she is performing, he inadvertently provides the means she needs to escape. Erick knows who she is immediately and falls hard for her.
I read this book without reading the preceding books in the series, and it was enjoyable as a standalone story, but certainly inspired me to go back and read those predecessors.
This book brings up an important issue within both the feminist community and among survivors of sexual assault, and while it doesn’t go too in depth in these issues, it comes to the ultimate conclusion: a person must do what’s best for them and what they wish. Personal choice is what matters.
Our main character is someone who is a survivor of sexual assault, and though her ability to detach herself from the situation would initially have her not see herself in that position, it’s once she discovers someone she truly has a connection with that makes that connection. She goes through her own internal struggles of coming to terms what she has been through, and reconciling her physical desire to have what we would call a BDSM sexual life with someone she loves with what she had gone through. She describes her partner as being “worthy” of dominating her. He is worthy because he doesn’t dominate her in the entity of her life – he actively encourages her to explore her own independence, life goals, and develop herself as a person. He’ll go against the cultural mores of his people in order to support her. He desires to know her as a person, for them to have a genuine partnership outside of sex, and though his efforts are often flawed, he ultimately succeeds. His domination of her in their sexual life is one they both know is purely consensual – and that’s part of what makes him worthy. What he does is what she desires. She desires the appearance of him being in control, when in fact, they are equal partners, both in control and wanting to please each other and themselves. Taramina encompasses an individual with agency, strength, talent, and independence, while also being someone with sexual desires, without compromising one part of her identity for another.
The latest addition to the series and I really loved this book.
I thought Mina was a wonderful character. She was very realistic, took things in her stride and did was needed to be done. A no nonsense woman, but with a tender heart. Erick was the perfect mate for her and I loved how they supported and helped each other.
It was also wonderful to catch up with the characters from the previous books and there were some great action scenes. And some panty melting hot scenes.
