Toni’s no stranger to making mistakes. She has experienced firsthand how walking down the wrong path can send life spiraling out of control. Fortunately, she had someone to drag her from the gutter and help set her on the right track. As penance for the poor choices of her past, she pledges to suppress her baser desires and focus on finding a steady, dependable man, even if that means embracing a … embracing a boring lifestyle.
The last thing anyone would call Zach is dull. As Enforcer for the Hell’s Handlers MC, he embodies the outlaw lifestyle. When Toni moves in next door, Zach can’t resist the possibility of a quick, hot, fling. But he soon discovers she’s not the easy conquest he’s used to.
While Zach works to convince Toni she belongs in his bed, a tenuous relationship with a local gang disintegrates and threatens his MC family. Zach’s world is turned upside down when he’s unable to keep the danger from touching his club.
As Toni fights to resist Zach’s pull, her own peace is shattered by demons from her past. With enemies both old and new barreling down, she throws out her rules and turns to Zach for aid. Soon, she finds herself firmly entrenched in Zach’s dangerous world.
Is it possible for her to curb her desires, or is she doomed to repeat the mistakes of her past? None of it will matter if Zach can’t keep their enemies at bay.

Zach is the Enforcer for the Hell’s Handlers. Toni is in town for her parents funeral and to sell their diner and family home she grew up in. This was book one in this series for Lilly Atlas and it checked all the boxes. Alpha male, strong tender woman, hot scenes, MC brothers, surrounding danger from the past and present. I absolutely could not put this down.
Really like this series. But, no cliffhangers, each stand alone which i like.
Zach is the first book in a new MC series by Lilly Atlas. Toni has to go home to Tennessee after her parent’s death to deal with the house and the diner they owned. When she was growing up there, Toni was sheltered and restricted from anything and everything so when she hit her teens she rebelled and her relationship with her parents disintegrated. Returning home after all this time brings back both good and bad memories, but the best thing of all is the hottie biker, Zach, still lives next door.
As Toni easily settles into Tennessee life; the diner is thriving, she’s making friends and striking up a friend/relationship with Zach, she begins to doubt returning to Chicago when her six week, self-inflicted, time limit is up. Will she stay or go back to Chicago? After what happened to her when she was a teenager, will she even attempt to be anything more with Zach? What will happen when threats and danger come at them from a club aspect as well as a personal one?
A very enjoyable story. More of a slow burn than an insta-action/love/lust I really enjoyed Zach and Toni. I thought that while the “big stuff” came later in the story, the author paced it really well and I loved the characters Lilly Atlas has introduced us to. I know Maverick’s story is next, understandably, but I can’t wait for Copper’s book. Zach gets 4.5 stars from me.
Loved it! Great start to a sexy MC series! Zach is insanely hot! Toni is strong and independent! They have great chemistry together! The groundwork is set for what will be a great MC series!
Good read
Not all that realistic for an outlaw MC.
Zach oh my Zach he is everything a girl wants in a man. He is a bada$$ biker, hot as hell man dripping with sexiness and very protective over his family and his club.
Zach comes home one day to see his next door neighbors daughter. She has come home for her parents funeral. Once Zach realizes who she is he goes over to offer his condolences and when he sees her he knows he has to have her in his bed just once. A taste of the neighbors daughter who he remembers always watching him when he was growing up but could never say anything to him because her parents were afraid of bikers.
Toni is in town for a short time just long enough for the funeral and to sell the family diner. But things change when she goes into the diner and remembers how she was raised in this diner. The more time she stays in the diner the more she wants to move back and keep the diner.
Then Toni and Zach get together and she decides to have a summer of fun and then go back to her life but what happens is anything but that. When trouble comes knocking on Toni’s door Zach is determined to keep her safe and make her his Old Lady. As the trouble heats up and Toni gets hurt Zach is determined to rain down hell on this gang.
Can Zach save Toni in time before she is destroyed and hurt?
Woah, now this was an awesome audiobook! It shouldn’t come as a surprise how obsessed I am with the MC world. I am always anxious to get my hands on my next MC gang. I’m so excited to have listened to Hell’s Handlers MC and can’t wait to continue!
This story was sooo well written and the narrators did a fantastic job playing Toni and Zach. I’m always wary about some audiobooks and if they are portrayed right… They did a fantastic job! This was a great introduction into what I think is going to be a great series! I’m excited to see more of the HH MC gang and seeing who they fall for!
This definitely wasn’t one of the darker MC books I read… Which was nice. I LOVE a good DARK MC book, but sometimes I like reading one that isn’t so dark. But that’s not to say there weren’t some dark moments.. I mean, it is an MC… There are bound to be dark moments. But it wasn’t the entire storyline.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book/audiobook and cannot wait to continue this series and read more of Lilly’s work!
This review is for the audiobook verson.
Rating: 4.5 Stars
This is one of those books that I wouldn’t mind having both the book and the audio version. That way if there comes a time when headphones aren’t possible, I have access to the Hell’s Handlers via a book. The author and the voice actors have me wishing that I wasn’t such a chicken about riding a motorcycle. Although with the three wheel versions out now has me thinking maybe… But not too sure about the bugs flying my way – yuck. But I listen to my books while driving so I can always fantasize – especially during bad weather.
Mr. Levine and Ms. DeWard compliment each other – they have great chemistry. This book was a great platform for them. I had no trouble picturing the emotion, the troubles, and who their characters were. Toni has some issues that filter into the real world so it’s possible that I may walk by someone that can relate to what Toni has had to experience. Mr. Levine has the perfect voice that has me picturing Zach with no problem. It’s going to be hard not to picture him in an MC setting. He also does a pretty good job with accents.
Ms. Atlas does a great job with who the Hell’s Handlers are and how they feel about each other. She shows what Zach is willing to do for Toni and what Toni is willing to do for Zach. I was lucky enough to listen to another one of her MC books and was so happy when I saw this book become available. Now I just have to try and be patient while waiting for the next book to come out. My problem is that I’m not very good at being patient.
I voluntarily reviewed an Audiobook copy of this book.
