Lewis and Madison have both lived in Mercy for years, but they’ve rarely crossed paths. When they’re set up on a blind date, it turns out they have an instant attraction. But Lewis hangs out at the Neighborhood Bar on a daily basis and Madison has a hard time understanding that it’s not to drink.Tragedy hit Madison at a young age and created a belief that alcohol leads to nothing but trouble. She … trouble. She has problems separating the social aspect and the inebriation aspect of drinking. So, when Lewis is hit hard in his professional life and Madison sees him drunk at the bar, Will she be quick to judge or can she learn to understand that sometimes a drink doesn’t define a man?

Another great addition to the Neighborhood series. Lewis and Madison are two people who meet at the bar, somewhere Madison would not normally feel comfortable in being at. As these two take the chance on each other a past tragedy causes Madison to lose sight of the big picture. You will be kept captivated as judgements are made, drama instills and declarations are made. These two will have you love drunk and basking in happiness as they discover that being the Neighborhood Regular doesn’t always come with a negative outcome.
The playful banter is probably my favorite part as Madison and Lewis get to know each other. There’s some heart thrown in for good measure in this mostly cute, sometimes judgemental beginning for these two.

Lewis and Madison are two people who instantly feel the sparks and act on it. He’s a graphic designer and she’s a waitress going to nursing school. This book will draw you in and you will love it.
Your Neighborhood Regular by Tarrah Anders. Being a regular in any type of establishment can lead to incorrect assumptions. Such is the case with this story. Good plot, strong characters, drama, dual POV and HEA. Everything I look forward to in the romance novels I like to read. A bit different from the others at The Neighborhood, Lewis is a regular customer not an employee. He’s a computer programmer by day who enjoys the company of others at the bar. Madison works at the diner, she has a personal reason for avoiding the bar. Sort of an odd initial start their relationship seems more realistic with the issues they face. Short and sweet for an hour of entertainment. Copy courtesy of the author.
I liked Lewis and Madison’s story. They knew of each other but hadn’t officially met before. Madison has issues with people that drink and assumes Lewis is a heavy drinker because he is the Neighborhood Bar regular. They have a great connection but some drama along the way causes an issue. We get to visit a couple of our Neighborhood couples with some humor, steam, drama and of course an HEA.
Lewis and Madison will draw you in to their story. These two met through friends and as their feelings develop Madison is skeptical of Lewis because he hangs out at a bar but it is not for drinking. Madison has issues with alcohol because of her family dynamics and when she notices that Lewis hangs out at a bar she pulls back and when he has a few drinks because of the pressures of his job, Madison takes it the wrong way. Will she be able to come to terms with her past and see Lewis as a man who is nothing like her childhood beliefs. This touching story will have you on the sidelines cheering for this couple as the journey towards their happily ever after.

I totally love this series! I can’t wait for each next book to be released. Tarrah is so great about not going with typical cliché sotrylines. So much of the time it is the men messing up, then trying to make it right again. Nope, not with Tarrah! Yeah, there is some of that, but it just as often is the other way around. And her characters are so endearing, real, honest, emotional, and engaging that you are sucked into their lives from the very start and just have to know how everything turns out.
Lewis & Madison made such a cute and well balanced couple. His isolated life prompted his engaging with The Neighborhood (local bar) as a form of social interaction. This was a foreign concept to Madison, who saw hanging out at a bar as something only an alcoholic would do. Given how her family lost her father, she was not open to being around drunks.
Once she realized Lewis was not what she had prejudged him to be, their relationship escalated quickly. However, when all financial h €!! broke loose for Lewis he drowned his anger & sorrow in spirits rather than isolate at home. Madison reverted to her prior judgment – without waiting for or listening to an explanation.
Would she ever be able to let go of her predilection to judge him? Especially judgement without all the information? There was no way any relationship could withstand that kind of pressure.
Definately recommend getting this book and finding out if Madison is able to grow and see past her own prejudice. I did receive this book as an ARC, however that in no way effected my review. I completely fell in love with Lewis and you will to!
This was meh. Lewis is a very likable guy and I enjoyed reading about him. Unfortunately, he settled for Madison. Madison is awful. She’s super judgemental and ridiculous. When she sees him trashed she gets angry and abandons him passed out on the side of the road… But he’s the awful one? She’s cruel and I couldn’t figure out why Lewis would want her. Only gave it three stars because it’s well written. Madison ruined it for me.

Lewis is a regular at the neighborhood bar but not what you think. Madison meets me through friends. They become the newest couple in town. When Madison finds out why Lewis is a regular it surprised her but she loves him all the same. So now Mercy just it a little bigger with another new couple.
Another good book from Tarrah.

Aaaaand we’re back at the bar! Lewis and Madison had some serious chemistry, but misunderstandings and an aversion to some adult activities end things before they have a chance to really begin. After some pouting and anger on Lewis’s part, he works to get back the woman he could easily come to love. Their story hit me in the feels because I can totally relate to Madison’s stance on Lewis’s perceived version of adulting, and it helped to make for an entertaining quick read. I’m in interested to see who we meet next in this town.
a woman trying to get over her past and a man who could do that if they can past the fact that he drinks sometimes
