Micah has a secret and it’s a secret that he doesn’t want anyone in Mercy to know. The manager of The Neighborhood Bar lives a double life. One that the people of Mercy see’s on a daily basis, and another which the folks at Lancaster’s View sees twice a week. A woman who has captivated Micah for the past several months tells him that their meet ups are ending, leaving Micah lost and wanting to … lost and wanting to fulfill he needs.
Except, he can’t move on just yet.
Luckily, the woman who he thought he would never see again, comes to Mercy and Micah can’t ignore what he wants anymore.
Or does he mess things up by returning to what he knows?

Micah manages the Neighborhood Bar. He is leading a double life. When his “life” ends in the city, he returns to Mercy to rethink and figure out what he really wants. His double life ends up being his neighbor. Can they have a regular relationship or will it really be over. Interesting twist of a sweet vanilla guy being not so vanilla after all.
Nice short story that was a great way to entertain for a rainy afternoon.

Your Neighborhood Manager is a great read! I’ve loved Micah throughout this series, and his story definitely did not disappoint! Adding Carol to the mix, just made it even greater. I’m excited to see what comes next in this series!
A great addition to the series. Welcome to the small town of Mercy. If you haven’t read previous books in the series, you’ll fall in love with the town and it’s residents. And you’ll want to then go read the previous books in the series. In this book we have Micah and Carol who have strong feelings for each other but is Micah ready for his new normal? Will Carol let him go that easily? Do they get a HEA? Will Micah realize Carol is the type of woman he needs in his life?

What the preppy’s kink is
Well Micah was hiding a secret from everyone in Mercy and in Your Neighborhood Manager we get to know just what that is. But what happens when the woman he wants to do it with has moved on……………only to show up as his new next door neighbor? It seems Micah’s worlds collide together and he is not sure which way is up or down any more. That is until he realize just how much he likes Carol and wants her. But will he be able to have his cake and eat it to? Or will Carol put a few conditions on things that make Micah even more unsure of things, after all this is a man who has not had a real relationship since before he became an adult.
I liked the story of Micah and Carol and their shared secret. Micah is a real clean cut, khaki and polo shirt wearing man. As we all know those type usually hide something more underneath and in Micah’s case he is definitely hiding something much more kinky. Carol is the CEO of a sex toy company and much more free spirited. But yet she has a deep and emotional side to her than you might think. It was interesting to read how their relationship together was negotiated and rules agreed to so that they could each feel more free and secure with each other.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
3.5 stars *** He manages a bar in his small town but goes to the next one over to visit a members only specialty club. They have an agreement to spend one year together and then walk away. She is moving so she won’t be extending their contract. And, she moves in next door. Uh oh! They have developed feelings for each but that wasn’t part of the agreement. Now what? Time to honestly look deep down to realize why he doesn’t want someone new. It was short and steamy!

Wow! I was so not expecting Micah to have a secret like this but …. yes please! Lol. I liked Micah and Claire’s story of an unconventional relationship turning into so much more. Without any spoilers, I was waiting for more secret action but the story was still great. Tarrah Anders has me hooked on the little town of Mercy and all of it’s wonderful characters.
Micah and Carol (Mic and Clarissa) have a past. At an adult club in the city. Their agreement ends, and they go their separate ways, without knowing any personal information about each other. He comes home from work one day, to find that she’s his new neighbor. They try to have a traditional relationship; but Carol would like to have some ground rules but not a formal agreement like they had at the club. What happens when someone breaks the rules? This is a really steamy story – an enjoyable book to read, not very long, but just enough background to make it complete. Like all the Neighborhood books, there’s a happy ending. I’m looking forward to the rest of this series.

The eighth book in this series was such a surprise, what is it they say, it is always the quiet ones and that fits Micah the manager of The Neighborhood perfectly. His story is all about secret desires, fate and not realizing what you needed was right in front of you all along you just had to remove the blindfold to see clearly. This fast paced steamy romance kept you captivated from start to finish. Absolutely loved this story and it left me thoroughly satisfied.
I read an ARC of Your Neighborhood Manager and I must say it’s an awesome addition to the Neighborhood Series by Tarrah Anders. I’ve loved watching this small town come to life through this series.
Micah is the manager of The Neighborhood Bar in the small town of Mercy. Carol is a business owner who makes the move from a big city to our favorite town. The start to their relationship isn’t exactly conventional, but what evolves from it just absolutely wonderful.
It’s such a great story full of lots of emotion and heat!
This is book eight in The Neighborhood series and it’s another great story to add to it. We have met Micah before in previous books as he is The Neighborhood Bar’s manager. He has saved Noah from the paperwork side of owning and running a bar. Micah has two sides, the Micah side and the Mic side which a select few are aware of. However, both sides mix in this book but is it for better or for worse? Another well written, short story about the folks that live in the small town of Mercy and the new folks that come and capture their hearts. Enjoy!

Tarrah does it again. Mercy is getting bigger & better. Micah is the manager of the bar but goes into the city for some “fun” No one knows about his secret part of his life. He plans to keep it that way. Carol is part of that secret life. She is moving on which upsets Micah. Little does he know she moved right next door to him. He is in awe with this cause he doesn’t realize that this secret life is not fun without the woman he loves which is Carol.
I really liked this book. I could not put this book down. The characters and story were written so well. I enjoyed everything about this book. Good book from beginning to end.
Another quick, light, hot story about Your Neighborhood Bar. I found this hero a little more difficult to like than the ones in the past books but overall it was a fun read. I’d really like to pull up a stool at the bar and hang out with all these characters for a while!
This was a great addition to the Neighborhood series (#8). The characters were great and it was nice to see quiet Micah finally get his chance. I did not care for some of the other reviews that spoke negatively of him though! I realize that, with Carol gone he made a, to some, questionable decision. However, concidering his intent, followthrough, AND the fact that he told her voluntarily about it immediately upon her return, I honestly have a great deal of respect for him. (Much opposed to feeling like he screwed things up.) Feeling like you are losing yourself in a relationship is frightening. To realize, do a safety check, and talk to your partner about it takes a strong person! Thank you Tarrah for reminding us (those of us who got it)!

Leave it to a man to mess things up with a good woman! Micah and Carol have an…unconventional start to their relationship, but it doesn’t change the fact that they’ve both got strong feelings for each other. So of course Micah has to risk that, just to be sure his new normal is truly what he wants. Carol is an awesome woman who doesn’t let him off the hook so easily, which is exactly what he needs in his life. Will they find their way to HEA? You’ll have to read to find out how it all plays out in this rapidly growing town!
I love Mercy and The Neighborhood series!
This quickie was all about Micah, Noah’s right hand man. The clean cut ultra efficient manager has another side. A side he keeps completely separate from his life in Mercy. He’s got a bit of kink in him.
We open to his final night of play with his regular play partner. And thus the dilemma Micah has to solve. A dilemma made easier to solve, perhaps, by a new neighbor. A very familiar neighbor. One who gets Micah to rethink the boundaries he has set for himself. And Carol definitely makes him rethink those boundaries hard.
Another quick foray into Mercy and the denizens of The Neighborhood Bar. Enjoy these quick trips and exploration of each person we meet and their journey. Spicy and sweet and oh so smooth.
