Another amazing addition and final book in the Neighborhood series. This book is an enjoyable and exciting second chance romance; it is quick, engaging, funny, and emotional deep; guaranteed to pull you in from the first page. The characters are likeable and sweet; the chemistry between them is off the charts. Having read all ten books I must say that I love this series; it has met and exceeded all of my expectations. I am a little sad to see this series end, but it is definitely worth reading and comes highly recommended.

A great read and a great addition to the series. Wonderful, strong and well developed characters you’ll love getting to know in each book. The story line is well written and captivates the reader until they turn the last page. Even though this is part of a series, you can read it alone but if you want more background info on the supporting characters I recommend reading the previous books in the series but not necessary to read before reading this one.

I really enjoyed reading about Leslie and Caleb’s second chance at romance. Caleb left Leslie and made it big, however when he comes back to town and tries to reconnect he is in for a shock. Leslie is very suspicious of him at first and he has re earn her trust.

Here we see more of Caleb Mercy, the lead singer of Mercy’s Grind whose come back after he heard about his father’s deterring health, from the push from Leslie (Les) Caleb’s old High school love, whom he left behind.
But after his father’s death & they both see that they’ve been asked to work together, more than likely set up by Old Mr.Mercy knowing how they both felt for each other & more than likely still for each other.
It’s a lovely sweet, easy love story between these 2 old lovers
This book is part of the Neighborhood series, the last one in fact. I have had the immense pleasure of reading each and every story in this series and cannot recommend it enough. Welcome to the small town of Mercy where the population grows as each of these amazing characters fall in love and find their HEA. This particular book is Caleb Mercy’s story. Yes, his family name is the town name. Caleb left this small town years ago to pursue a music career and has found success but that success cost him two things. His high school love, Leslie and a relationship with his father. Can Caleb find a new balance with career and life? His father left him with three things to take on, will he stay and do them or bail back to the life of a rock star? Lastly, in all of this, will Leslie give Caleb his second chance? Enjoy another great read in this series. As always it’s a short but well written story with an amazing set of characters. Enjoy!

The Neighborhood Legend is my favourite of this series and finishes it on such a high. A second chance romance that will steal your heart and have you falling in love with Caleb and Leslie. Their story will captivate and have you enchanted by the melody of their love that has remained their for over a decade.
Sometimes coming home makes you realize just what you left behind
Your Neighborhood Legend is the tenth and final book in The Neighborhood series and I really, really, really don’t want to say goodbye to the town of Mercy and all of it’s varied, sexy and lovable rogues and beautiful, strong, sassy and smart women.
The “Mercy Legend” is Caleb Mercy, namesake and heir of the founders of this lovely town. He ran out of the town of Mercy as quickly as he could after graduating high school to pursue his dream of being a musician. He barely glanced back and that included at his girlfriend Leslie (Les) who he did not tell and did not answer any of her messages that she left on his phone. He founded a band, Mercy Grind, and they became successful and he became a rock star.
It is now fifteen years later and he has been back in town for a couple of months, brought back because his father was dying. Now his dad has passed and with the reading of the will there are a couple requests that he must fulfill, but they are not specific so he has to sort out what and how to proceed. What he does not know if that Les has visited with he father each week during all these years. Les appears on his doorstep to check in on him but also to let him know that she received some instructions to assist Caleb to sort out what to do and then work with him. Caleb is basically knocked off his feet at seeing Les again. Not only because she has filled out into a beautiful woman but also because she is not a police officer.
As Caleb and Les cross paths more while sorting things out and making decisions Caleb starts to realize that even though he ran once and hurt Les deeply he does not want to run again from her or the town of Mercy. He has finally come home but he has to convince Les of this.
I really loved this last story in the series. Actually I loved the entire series and count myself very lucky that I was able to discover it with the first book and then read them all as Tarrah wrote them. This is a definite must read series. Each book has an interesting and completely engaging story-line and wonderful and fascinating characters.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Great conclusion to the series! Caleb is a hometown boy that couldn’t wait to get to the big city and make it big. After tragedy, he returns to fulfill the wishes of his father and finds his high school love. The love between Caleb and Leslie has not gone away and is quick to pick back up – but with reservations. He shows that he is not the man that ran away and she shows that she trusts him.
An awesome ending to the Neighborhood series that seamlessly fits in with the rest of the books! Loved the cameos from other books as well!
This has to be the best story of the series. Caleb, Mr. Mercy himself, has some big shoes to fill in his hometown. And he has some big holes in his heart to fill once he sees his first and only love, too. He manages to navigate the demands on him, as well as finding his way back into the heart of Leslie. Of course, he’s a man, so he has to stumble a few times along the way, but he’s not about to give up. Not now. Not when he can see, feel, and taste the future he could have with Leslie.
This story brought everything together for the town of Mercy and let the series end on a positive note. I’ve enjoyed these quick jaunts into the people of Mercy and recommend them if you’ve got some time to spare and want a quick read.
