To do list for my last day of my Paris vacation…

2. Visit all the chocolate shops in the city
3. Wander along the cobblestoned streets.
Things I don’t expect to happen…
1. Meet a charming Englishman while strolling along the Seine
2. Spend the afternoon with him exploring Paris, and kissing. So many French kisses…

Your French Kisses is a fantastic contemporary romance by Lauren Blakely. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Blakely has given readers a well-written book. The characters in this book are just plain lovable. Reid is just starting out as a graphic designer and is in Paris for a bike race. Marley and her friends are in Paris for the last night of their post-graduation tour of Europe. Reid and Marley meet on their last day in Paris and agree that Reid has to grow into his business and Marley has to attend grad school. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Lauren Blakely in the future. Your French Kisses is book 4 of the Boyfriend Material Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
This was such a sweet short story. Marley is in Paris with her friends and while they go do all the height attractions on their last day, she explores, bumping into the charming Reid, a Brit who is spending his last day in Paris too. The way they met was one of the sweetest meet-cutes ever, who wouldn’t bond over chocolate? Spending time with them in Paris almost felt like we were there with them. And their chemistry was palpable, I was sad when they went their separate ways leaving it to serendipity as to if they ever meet again, and spoiler alert – not really, this is a Lauren Blakely romance, they do meet again and it was just perfect. Lauren Blakely manages to capture so much romance, not just for the couple but the city in this story and it’s beautiful to listen to.
Performed brilliantly by Erin Mallon and Shane East. Not really much I can add to that, they are both top-notch performers and that comes through in this story. They put so much heart into the performance it was easy to get lost in the romance.
The audio also includes Too Good to be True, performed by Andi Arndt and Joe Arden.
This is such an adorable short story about a blind date and what comes after. Olivia has been hurt in the past and because of it is prone to self-sabotage, so when she’s set up with Herb, she’s sure it’ll be a disaster. Lucky for her, Herb feels the same way. Lucky for us listeners, they’re both wrong and hit it off instantly and go on what might be the best date ever. They so cute together and they have so much chemistry. I loved how Lauren packed such a punch with a short story, she really knows how to deliver the feels.
I had listened to this story previously, where Herb was performed by RC Bray. Andi Arndt sounds great as always, and her voice worked well with both narrators. Joe Arden was fantastic as Herb, different to Bray, of course, but it still kept the integrity of the character and the performance. I’m not a huge fan of re-casting mainly because reviews look weird when the named narrator is different, not to mention, if you loved it, it feels like your story has been changed, for this though, Joe is so good and there voices have the same sort of tone, that is worked well.
Your French Kisses was a sweet short romantic read! Reid & Marley meet on a bench by a river and spend one magic afternoon in Paris! They share kisses and adventures together and have promised fate will bring them back together! 3yrs later fate has struck with a sweet ending!

Both stories are on the short side so there isn’t much time for a lot of drama and character development.
We do have two likable couples and wonderful narrators. Well worth the time!
A sweet rollercoaster ride of a love story!
This is a short and clean novel about what happens when an American girl and a London boy meet in France where they are both on vacation. They only have a few hours together but are very attracted to each other. They never think they will see each other again–but fate has other plans!
This is definitely a feel good read that will make you smile!!
Lauren Blakely’s “Your French Kisses” was a sweet, charming epilogue to the Boyfriend Material series. It was a very short story that only took me about an hour to read, but there was still something magical about it that really resonated with me. It may have been the fact that main characters Reid and Marley’s first meeting took place in Paris, a famously romantic city that I have always wished to visit. I also loved the way they tried to live in the moment and treasure every bit of their time together, even knowing that they both had to leave in a matter of hours and might never see each other again.
Marley and Reid’s banter was quite amusing and fun, and even though I’m not exactly a believer in fate or love at first sight, I couldn’t help but hope they’d somehow end up in the right place and time to be together. In addition, I note that it is not necessary to read the previous books in the Boyfriend Material series to understand and enjoy this short story, but personally, I am glad to have read the series in order. I liked Marley and Reid when they were introduced in the earlier books, and having that previous connection with them made watching them fall in love just a little bit sweeter for me.
While I’m sad that this series has ended, I look forward to whatever Ms. Blakely writes next!
his is a really sweet (but VERY short) story. Marley and Reid have one magical day in Paris. Reid, a sexy Brit, is in the country for a bike race with friends. Marley is on a tour of Europe before starting business school in the States. They meet on a park bench overlooking the Seine. They have instant chemistry and spend the day falling in love. Both of them know the timing isn’t perfect and they part ways not evening exchanging last names or contact information. They spend the next three years searching for each other until they are reunited in New York.
The primary reason for my three star rating was the book was say too short. Marley and Reid are wonderful characters with great chemistry. The book is too short though to give them a chance to really shine.
Your French Kisses is the fourth book in the Boyfriend Material Series. This audiobook includes two short novellas. Each story is fun, sweet, and romantic. I liked the narration!
Your French Kisses, narrated by Shane East and Erin Mallon: Marley and Reid’s story is beautifully written, and romantic. This is a great instalove/second chance to love. I enjoyed it. The narration is great.
Too Good to Be True, narrated by Joe Arden and Andi Arndt. I loved Olivia and Herb’s story. This is a great instalove/flirty story. The narration is well done.
Your French Kisses is a novella in the Boyfriend Material series by Lauren Blakely. It can be read as standalone but I highly recommend reading it after One Night Stand-In since that is where you will meet Reid. Lucas’s best friend and business partner and a man on a mission to find the woman he spend five hours with in Paris three years ago. It’s that romantic!?!
It totally is! And now you will get to read about their time together in the city of love. I was so hoping for Reid to get his own book and Lauren has delivered as always. It’s sweet, fun, and flirty. And there’s chocolate and lingerie! What more can you ask for?! I just loved every last drop.
Quotes:
“Are you happy?”
I smile. “I’m pretty sure the way I feel right now is the very definition of the word.”
We’re a moment in time. A starburst. A spark against the sky that burns bright and fast.
“I want to keep writing in that history book.”
Sigh … what a sweet insta-love, second-chance story!
Reid and Marley enjoy a perfect day in Paris, instantly connecting even though they each know that they’re not in a position to pursue a long-term, long-distance relationship. The bulk of this sweet novella follows them along this one magical day, but it’s bookended by their second-chance connection years later.
Nothing more than kisses is detailed in this delightful story, yet we still get all the emotional depth and chemistry that we expect from this author. Each of these characters were introduced in previous books in this series, so it was very heartwarming to see them finally come together and fulfill the promises they made in Paris.
You get two very short stories in this audio book, “Your French Kisses”, and “Too Good To Be True”. The total listening time was a little over 2 hours.
The stories were two instalove stories. They were fast, cute, romantic, and a little sexy. Shane East makes any audio book better.
I would give this book 3.5 stars. The stories were ok.
A sweet, cute, and delicious treat. Lauren Blakey is the queen of romance, she never ceases to amaze me. I enjoyed this story.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
I loved this sweet and whimsical romance! Your French Kisses is the closing novella in the Boyfriend Material series. This is about Reid, Lucas’ friend and business partner, and Marley, the woman who captured his heart, one perfect afternoon, three years ago in Paris. They went their separate ways, never forgetting the other, and always wondering if their path’s would cross again. Shane East and Erin Mallon narrate this truly romantic, serendipitous tale of two people who are absolutely destined to be together! They really did an amazing job of capturing the magic of this enchanting romance!
Keep listening at the end for a special bonus novella, Too Good to be True! Lauren Blakely revisits her ‘One Love’ series world to give Olivia, Flynn’s sister from his book, Come As You Are, her HEA.
Olivia and Herb are having a hard time finding someone to love after they had their hearts broken. With the help of a mutual friend, they have the best first date ever and beyond. Joe Arden and Andi Arndt narrate this fun & flirty romance. Their comedic timing is perfect and they easily handle Blakely’s quick and witty banter, making this sizzling romance even more delightful!
Your French Kisses
By: Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Shane East, Erin Mallon, Joe Arden, Andi Arndt
I love treats like this! Two novellas that warmed my heart and just made me feel good! French Kisses is a sweet, second chance romance that will leave you swooning. On a chance meeting several years earlier, Marley meets Reid the day they are both leaving France to go to their respective homes. Karma has found them, as they are a perfect match, and to keep the love alive, they do not exchange information, but let luck see if they ever meet again. This is a such a fun and touching story, and the narration by Erin Mallon and Shane East made it that much better. These two really enhance the characters and let us fall in love not once, but twice!
Then we have our second treat! Lauren Blakely gives us Too Good to be True with Olivia and Herb. Set up on a date that, these two hit it off. Can it be too good to be true? With escape rooms, witty banter and self sabotage, this one is complete entertainment. Narrated by the talented team of Andi Arndt and Joe Arden, they nail the comedy and bring in the romance. Sometimes it takes these short novellas to put back the faith in love, and Blakely brings us the comfort of warming our hearts and feeling the love.

Adorable. Sweet. Touching. Sigh-worthy. I felt all the love in this novella featuring side characters from the Boyfriend Material series. A chance meeting in Paris between a charming Brit and a sweetheart of an American, drive this short as they spend 5 hours together and don’t see each other again until fate steps in 3 years later.
Despite the length, it’s Blakely romance at its very best, delivering all the feels as only she can.
A perfect little read when you’re looking for a quick escape from the crazy that is life.
4 starbursts!
If you read One Night Stand-In, you might remember the sweet and charming Brit, Reid and Peyton’s manager at the lingerie store, Marley. Peyton knows Marley has a thing for British men, but not really why. And Reid is searching for a certain girl.
This is a story of kismet, fate, timing, and second-chances. It is about that once in a lifetime connection that has a much too soon end time. And trying to hold onto it could just cause distractions in the present and future. But sometimes those meetings and connections stick with you. And you are always hoping that fate will smile on you again.
I loved Reid and Marley. They are fun, flirty, witty, and wear their hearts on their sleeve. They try to be no-nonsense and realistic when they want to get pulled away by romance and passion. But they also believe in the magic of true connections and soul mates.
And that is what this short story is about. It is sweet, funny, romantic, and smile-inducing. And it leaves you believing in love and possibilities.
