I know what people say about me. Eric Callahan, ‘The Shark’. I own it.I’m a powerful man. My sharp business sense earned me that nickname. My façade is my armor.Underneath is where I keep the devotion I have for my daughter. Since her mother died, I’ve devoted my life to her. Expanding my business on the West Coast is one way to ensure I build the legacy she deserves. And that’s all I plan to do … that’s all I plan to do for our three months in San Francisco.
Until I meet Pippa Bennett.
I swear, I didn’t mean to start flirting with her. It was a complete accident. So was continuing.
I can’t resist the pull between us any more than I can change the tides in the Bay. We have the same sense of humor, we have chemistry for days, and she’s as kind and sweet with my daughter as my family is. This is fast spiraling out of control.
She’s a divorcee, I’m a widower. Neither of us was prepared to take a chance on love again. Besides, we always had a time limit. But as it grows closer, I can’t help but wonder–can I let her go, or could this one be forever?

enjoyed the book.. looked for the series
I read this book as part of The Billionaire Boxset. If you’re wanting a book filled with a continual stream of sex scenes then you will probably enjoy this story. If you’re looking for a book with more substance than just sex, this book probably is not for you.
Awesome book. Awesome writer.
Second Chance
At love for two people. Pippa is doing what she loves and is getting over her stupid ex husband. Eric is in San Francisco with his daughter Julie to set up an office for his company in the West coast. He knows Pippa’s brother Max. When they meet at the wedding, neither expects more.
The whole series is adorable!
Was a good book, quite steamy. The twist and ending caught me totally off guard. I could not stop crying. I can’t wait to start the sequel.
Anything by Layla Hagan is good. Love this story
Easy to read. Kinda silly, but kept me interested.
Your Forever Love by Layla Hagen was an amazing story! I could not put it down. I love the Bennett family and so glad that Pippa got her own happily ever after. Once again Layla Hagen has delivered a sizzling romance, that had me laughing and crying. I love how Layla Hagen writes in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. Your Forever Love is the third book in The Bennett Family series, and is the story of Pippa Bennett and Eric Callahan. Pippa Bennett is the lead jewelry designer for Bennett Enterprises, the older sister and recent divorcee. Eric Callahan is the CEO of Callahan Finest, based in Boston, who has relocated to the West Coast for the summer to expand their jewelry business. Eric is a widower and single father to his twelve year old daughter, Julie. Pippa and Eric meet at Ava and Sebastian’s wedding, and enjoy themselves while dancing. Eric is just what Pippa needs to be able to put herself out there again after her recent divorce from her first husband, a short term hook up. Pippa agrees to help Julie with jewelry design in preparation of a summer class she is taking. As Pippa helps Julie, she gets closer with Eric and the sparks fly. Since both Pippa and Eric have loved and lost, neither is interested in anything long term. As their romance evolves, Pippa realizes that when Eric returns to Boston, she will be dealing with a broken heart. Your Forever Love is filled with Layla Hagen’s usual bittersweet and poignant moments, and the surprise plot twists, that I have come to expect and love. Love the strong women that Layla has created and the transformation that occurred with Pippa. I love the advice that Eric’s mother gives him. It was a wonderful story and I am so happy that Eric and Pippa were able to deal with the unexpected events and come out stronger. So glad that Pippa got her happy ending and her dreams coming true.
Well, I loved it! As Pippa said at one point, ‘I’m grinning so much I’m genuinely afraid I might pull a muscle in my face.’

Writing style: Dual 1st Person POVs

Cover and chapter design: It’s consistent with the previous two covers and I love the magenta colored Forever because it pops nicely against the white and black background.

The story:
Pippa and Eric’s love story was such a feel good, funny and sexy romp of a read. I have zero complaints. I love reconnecting to the Bennett clan and seeing how they all interacted while another one of their siblings fell in love. I couldn’t resist sharing my reactions on GoodReads and found myself frequently highlighting or bookmarking moments as Pippa and Eric grew closer and recovered finally from the scar their past left on their hearts.

One of my favorite lighter moments between them during the rooftop club scene:
“What do you want to talk about?” I ask him, trying hard to keep my mind out of the gutter.
“Anything,” he replies. “Tell me about you, but please, make an effort to find something vile and repugnant. So far, I’ve learned that you get along with my daughter, are funny as hell, and have a body made for sin. Bad combo for my determination to remain a monk.”

One of my favorite romantic declarations:
“I promise to be there through everything. Cheer with you on the good days, cheer you up on the bad ones. Work through everything and never give up. Love is an honor and a choice, and I will choose to love you every day.” ~Eric

Pippa’s brother Max will have the Bennett matchmakers focused on him next, ha! 😉
I LOVE this book! There is so much depth to the characters, and their romance is so ooomph! Would definitely read all the author’s other books.
**4 stars**
I was so excited for Pippa’s story because I was ready for her to have her own HEA. Layla Hagen DID not disappoint. After reading Sebastian and Logan’s stories, I knew Pippa’s was going to be just as good.
Pippa, the sister who looks after everyone, she guards her heart and is protected by everyone. After a nasty divorce and terrible dating experiences after she doesn’t trust men; Pippa wasn’t prepared for the sizzle that came when Eric Callahan was present, but oh was it ever present! Pippa is a strong leading female and I love that her character, let me rephrase that, she a strong female character period. I loved that she met Eric.
Eric, a single father, who also happens to be a very powerful businessman moves to SanFran to set up the new West Coast office. When he meets Pippa it was more than he was prepared for. After losing his wife in a car accident that almost cost him his daughter, he swore of dating to focus on the priorities in his life. The plan was always to return to the East Coast, but sometimes plans have a funny way of changing.
I loved this book fully heartedy. I loved the story on how they get together, I love the HEA they both got, I love the healing that happened. I can’t wait for more Bennett’s an all of the cameo’s from all the siblings.
Love The Bennett Family
I enjoyed the book but did find the plot rather predictable.
I loved this book! I highly recommend it
Pippa and Eric meet at a wedding. They are a little opposite. He’s an over protective dad with a precocious daughter. She’s a divorced woman loved by her employees but gun shy about re entering the dating world. The daughter brings them together. The Bennett’s are a great family with whom readers will enjoy visiting.
This author never disappoints
Too much explicit sex.
I absolutely LOVED Eric and Pippa! Another Bennett story and absolutely amazing! Don’t miss this one!
I liked it so much, I bought the whole series!
