These stories are inappropriate. But that’s the cost of pushing boundaries. It’s impossible to be scared if you know what’s coming next, so this book thrives on the unpredictable. Some tales are horrifying, others are simply disgusting, several are kinky, and a few will make you cry. Short stories are interwoven with longer series, and two guest authors ensure that the variety will make each turn … will make each turn of the page a surprise.
What early readers are saying:
“I started at 12 a. m. It’s now 6 a. m., and I am still reading this amazing creation. I love how the world building and plot creations are perfect for each scenario. I hope to read more from this author (you should too) and hope that they make it big.”

“P. F. McGrail never disappoints with his stories. I read the whole book in one binge session. He has a style that is so different from most authors. He keeps you entranced and itching to read the next story ASAP, so having almost all new ones in one place was such a treat.”

After reading each story in this collection, I was left thinking “what the fuck?” but in the best way possible! The scariest stories in this book are the ones that are based around human depravity, not necessarily the paranormal. It’s terrifying to think about how plausible and realistic some of the more fucked up stories really are because of how fucked up the human psyche can become. But it also makes me feel a little better about some of my own sexual deviance 😉 A++ to the author for keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. This truly was a masterpiece of horror, but definitely NOT for the faint of heart.
I’ve been a fan of PF McGrail since he debuted Patricia Barnes. It has since led me to a binge-worthy world of Demon Hunters, Zombies, Donkeys, Harlequin Heaven and the Delora Family. What I love about PF is that he takes the most disturbing events that could possibly happen to a human and turn them into literary entertainment. This specific book has an array of his stories, that range from humor to philosophical to nauseating. There is never a theme, other than, “horror”. PF does a few things extremely well: Make excellent villains (and most of the time they are villains you end up rooting for as there are usually no clear antagonists in his stories), create visual masterpieces, and lastly create vengeance stories better than anyone. You will soar through these stories – and you will end with whiplash after each one – between laughing, thinking and throwing up – you’ll wonder what the hell you are reading and then look him up for more.
So why is this not a 5 star review? Some of my favorites stories comes from PF. He’s brilliant. But his brilliancy to me, lies in creating a weave of interconnecting stories (aka the Delora family). His characters need longer than 3 – 4 pages. Many of these stories, while beautifully written (I am no writer but I read like a banshee and can appreciate a well written story whether it’s my cup of tea or not), just fell slightly flat and forgettable. That’s not to say that several of these stories are stand outs. As a “book” it just lacked my typical PF fanfare, but it’s still a fantastic and highly entertaining read.
Overall, if you are a fan of the genre, or looking to get into it, look no further. PF is top gun and he’s here to say I’m not going anywhere.
Bravo!

P.F. McGrail has become one of my top five favorite horror authors. His graphic stories are a cut above the usual offerings in the genre. Yes, there’s plenty of blood and guts — but it’s the mental and philosophical agonies which are so deliciously rendered that keep me transfixed.
