Sadie O’Connor had successfully avoided Gage Montgomery for years. Hell, she was practically a ninja at avoiding him. And if it weren’t for a stray dog, some barbed wire, and the giant gash across her left ass cheek (long story), she might’ve been able to go on avoiding him. But now Gage—the sexiest, grumpiest jerk she’s ever laid eyes on—is right here, within reach. And it’s not long before her … her heart’s ready to hurl itself at him. Again. Too bad she can’t afford to trust her heart. Not after what happened the last time…
Gage certainly wasn’t expecting to come face-to-face—or, face-to-ass, he supposed—with Sadie again, either. Their smokin’ physical chemistry had been complicated when they first met. (Mostly because she’d been engaged to his cousin at the time. But that’s another story…) Now Gage knows exactly what he wants, and that’s Sadie—in his arms, in his bed, forever. All he has to do is convince the woman of his dreams to un-friend zone him once and for all…
But before Gage and Sadie can figure out how to stow their emotional baggage and move forward together, they have to deal with a crazy pregnant lady, Gage’s even crazier family, and the re-appearance of a particularly pesky ghost from Sadie’s past.
Looks like things might get even more complicated this time around…
You Wrecked Me is book 2 in the You Complicate Me duet but can be read as a standalone. Not intended for anyone who doesn’t like characters who cuss, tons of nerdy pop culture references, and all manner of familial silliness. For the rest of you, happy reading!

I’ve struggled lately with books that are in Kindle Unlimited. And when I say “struggled” I mean that I’ve read some crap that has made me scratch my head and wonder how anyone could’ve even considered publishing it. But after reading this one, and its predecessor, You Complicate Me…well, I won’t say my faith in Kindle Unlimited is FULLY restored, because I’m a paranoid person and it’d take way more than 1 or 2 great books to do that, but I WILL say that I have no complaints about this author or this duet. In fact, I might even be doing a little happy dance.
Now, I’ll start by saying that this isn’t a typical duet. You can read You Wrecked Me without having first read You Complicate Me. Both books stand alone nicely. (Although, as I’ve established, both books are GREAT, so why wouldn’t you want to read them both?? But I digress…)
Secondly, I’ll say that Gage is my favorite kind of romance hero. He’s sexy, grumpy, a little antisocial, and bordering on being a recluse, but at heart he’s a nice guy who never treats the heroine with anything but the utmost respect. He’d make a great addition to my book-boyfriends-who’d-make-the-best-real-life partners list. He gets extra points for not being a commitment-phobic former manwhore. (I HATE those guys)
This is also a second chance romance, which I’m a huge sucker for. (Stay tuned for an all-time-favorite second chance romance list TOMORROW on the blog!)
Sadie was a great heroine, too. Maybe not as great as Gage, but hey, we can’t all be grumpy, sexy, antisocial, recluses who are nice at heart. (I know. I have a problem. #SorryNotSorry)
Gage’s family that we first met in You Complicate Me makes an appearance here, too, and frankly, snort-laughs ensued. (Don’t read in public just in case. Snort laughs aren’t sexy and no one can look good while snort laughing. It’s just a fact.)
Long-story-short, You Wrecked Me, like You Complicate Me before it, is a winner. You can download confidently.
Full disclosure: We received an ARC from the author free of charge.
Since running away from her wedding and meeting the hot doctor in not the best circumstances, Sadie’s been avoiding him. Not only did she feel more of a connection with him than she ever did with her fiancé, who was also Gage’s cousin.
Everything was going well with her plan to avoid him, because she knew how she felt, till she ended up in the ER and he’s the doctor on and he sees everything she never wanted him to see. What she felt before was still there and she knew she was in trouble.
Seeing Sadie again Cage knew the same feelings were there, but she was convinced they could only be friends, even after the night they had together. Cage knew what he wanted was Sadie and he just needed another chance to show her what they could have.
The reason for the 4 stars is the F- word. I hate that word. It takes away from a great story. I would only do 3 stars but this book is great. I have never laughed out loud reading a book a much as I did this one. Grandma Ruthie is hilarious!! Gage picked himself up from a very tragic childhood and became a doctor. 5 years ago his cousin that he grew up with was marrying a beautiful, wonderful girl that he was attracted to but would never act on it. Turns out Sadie was attracted to Gage too and left Gage’s cousin at the alter and took off for 5 years. She came back to town for a while and hoped she could avoid Gage but he ended up being the doctor that worked on her. They realize they were still very much attracted to each other. Gage’s cousin was married to Sadie’s brother and they both went to help the pregnant Grace that was on bedrest. Really awesome standalone with an HEA that is laugh outloud hilarious with Ruthie. Get rid of the F- word and you’ve got a great love story!!!!

It is comical and sweet with a little drama. Sadie and Gage are great together. I loved the bond they had. Grace, Sadie’s sister-in-law and Gage’s cousin, was hilarious about her pregnancy. I highly recommend this book.
So sweet and cute but also real and steamy. Loved it!
Loved this duet
Warning: do NOT read this book while you’re eating! You’ll end up snort laughing and projectile spewing what you were chewing all over the page, kindle or whatever e-reader you may be using. Totally gross – you’ve been forewarned!
I read You Complicate Me yesterday and enjoyed Grace and Nick’s story so much that today I downloaded You Wrecked Me to read Sadie and Gage’s story and I’m so glad I did. This book picks up five years after the previous one ended and is populated by many of the same characters. Grace and Gage are cousins who were raised together because Gage’s parents bailed on him and Grace’s mom and dad took him into their home. Character does not even begin to describe Ruthie, Grace and Gage’s grandmother. Suffice it to say that under a crusty, ornery exterior lies a wise and caring soul (kinda, sorta) who will have you bent over in hilarious laughter. These are standalone stories but you will definitely enjoy reading both.
Gage is an accomplished surgeon and Sadie is the runaway bride from the first book in this duet. How they arrive at their HEA will have you swooning, laughing raucously and falling in love with the two of them. Do yourself a favor and read You Wrecked Me. If you haven’t already done so, also read You Complicate Me. These are feel-good books and who doesn’t need to feel good these days?
Excellent follow up to the first book! I Ann going to need a book on Michael!
