This is an audacious novel about family and ambition from “one of the best living mystery writers” — the bestselling, award-winning author of The Fever (Grantland). How far will you go to achieve a dream? That’s the question a celebrated coach poses to Katie and Eric Knox after he sees their daughter Devon, a gymnastics prodigy and Olympic hopeful, compete. For the Knoxes there are no limits — … there are no limits — until a violent death rocks their close-knit gymnastics community and everything they have worked so hard for is suddenly at risk.
As rumors swirl among the other parents, Katie tries frantically to hold her family together while also finding herself irresistibly drawn to the crime itself. What she uncovers — about her daughter’s fears, her own marriage, and herself — forces Katie to consider whether there’s any price she isn’t willing to pay to achieve Devon’s dream.
From a writer with “exceptional gifts for making nerves jangle and skin crawl” (Janet Maslin), You Will Know Me is a breathless rollercoaster of a novel about the desperate limits of parental sacrifice, furtive desire, and the staggering force of ambition.

I very much enjoyed reading it and was shocked at how it turned out!
What a twisted family!
Read the book all the way through in one sitting & I haven’t done that in quite a while. I’ve always been an avid reader but lately there has been so much original, exciting television programming (The Expanse, The Americans) that I’ve been reading a little less. Not a lighthearted read but one I found I had to know the end of.
I enjoyed this book and the characters very much. You truly feel a part of the action and gain insight into the unique world of gymnastics. The twists and suspense build until the very end.
It was a little predictable and not a lot of character development.
I really enjoyed the glimpse of the world of gymnastics. It is always discussed what the athletes must go through to become champions, but most people don’t often consider both the sacrifices and the motivations of the parents, for better or worse. This book kept me very interested. The suspense kept me reading. I didn’t want to put it down.
Aside from a good story, good characters, I learned a lot about competitive gymnastics!
Maybe if you are a gymnast?
I didn’t finish the book – went online to find out the ending. Seemed to go on and on.
