This was a surprising read. I found it at a book swap and was intrigued by the back panel. Upon starting the book, I found I was unable to put it down. It was such a delight with an unexpected end. Thank you for a delightful day.
I really enjoyed this book. I read it in a day and it kept my interest. I didn’t want to put it down. I would definitely recommend this book.
Lots of fast-paced action that will make you not want to put it down! I swear I read the entire thing in three days — it’s amazing!!
This book was shocking from beginning to end. Once I started reading it I could not put it down.
Definitely did not see the ending coming. So good
Loved it. I think I found my new favorite YA author.
This was an absolutely heart stopping book and a total page turner. I could not stop reading it from the day I got it. I ended up finishing this book in 3 hours. The end is a total shock and it was certainly unpredictable. I love it.
I’ve had this book on my kindle for a while now and wanted to read something by this author so I chose this book. Coincidentally tomorrow happens to be Valentine’s day and this is the perfect read for this time of year if you want something less ‘hearts and flowers’ shall we say.
What I found is that once I started this book there was no way on earth I was going to be able to put my kindle down. I had to know where the story was going and needed all the answers. What a real page turner. The twists and turns, the characters and the story line were just perfect!
This YA thriller is a must read and after reading the start of The Cellar which the author highlights at the end of this eBook, I know what I’m reading next.
It was a page-turner, that you won’t be able to get enough of. I could hardly put it down!
I need it . For school.
Great story that will have you wanting to read it all in one setting.
I love Natasha Preston but this book just wasn’t that great. I wanted to love it but found it too juvenile for me.
Lylah and her roommates are headed out to celebrate Valentine’s day after a stressful week of exams and classes; their hoping some drinking and dancing will be the release that they all need. Lylah especially, since this very holiday is a reminder of the day she lost her parents, and it doesn’t help that her brother has been pestering her all week to return home for the anniversary. But just as they are ready to leave they find a cryptic note on their front steps, and immediately Sonny chalks it up to a former scorned lover… but when he doesn’t return home the next day they realize he had it all wrong. Someone is out to get them and they will stop at nothing to get their revenge… one by one they start to disappear, and Lylah begins to wonder if the police will catch the killer, or if her time is up too!
You Will Be Mine is a thrilling, fast paced, suspense novel that is sure to keep you guessing until the very end! This was my first title from this author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but with each page I turned the more addicted I became, and the harder it was for me to put my tablet down! The story centers around a group of college age friends who have managed to wrong someone, and that someone is killing them off one by one to exact their revenge. From the moment the killing starts, so does the guessing game of who the killer is, and just when you think you have it figured out the story takes a different turn… it was a great game of cat and mouse! If you enjoy young adults suspense novels, I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it’s sure to have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish!!
Requested an advanced copy from the NetGalley, and voluntarily read and reviewed.
This book was provided to me free of charge by Edelweiss. I am reviewing it voluntarily.
You will be mine is a simple but twisted thriller, revolving around Lylah and her 5 roommates. Threatening notes start showing up; people start dying. It’s pretty typical stuff, exciting but not terribly original. It bothers me that the roommates decide who the killer is very early in the story. Without any kind of evidence or solid motive, they determine that it must have been a former friend because he left school four months after being rejected by Lylah. It’s very random and contrived. The climax isn’t all that surprising, and the final page possibly alluded to an absolutely unnecessary sequel. I’m giving 3 stars because the writing isn’t bad, and I read the entire book and was entertained, if not impressed.
