I’m a sucker for this type of story. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I opened this novella, but I’m happy I stumbled across it. The novella was not only well written, but it had a story that both broke my heart and warmed it at the same time. Short and sweet with realistic and loveable characters right off the bat, I really enjoyed it!
The characters are well developed and engaging with undeniable chemistry between the couple which made for a great storyline that kept me entertained throughout the pages.

I really liked the premise and felt the characters were well developed for the short length of the book. This could easily be expanded into a longer book with a bit more tension. I would have liked to know a little more family background, which played into who our two main characters were. Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable read.

This is the story of Alessandra and Lucas. He is a musician on the rise and Alessandra is forced to leave him without a trace. Now thirteen months later Alessandra is back at her mom’s insistence and she’s also got a little secret of her own. What happens when these two see each other again? And what forced her to leave in the first place? There is so much packed into this well written quick read. I enjoyed every minute. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dreams do come true…
by and1515
Alessandra longed for the only one she’d ever wanted but now all she had were fantasies that left her unfulfilled.
The only treasure she had left was her daughter she meant everything to me.
Lucas she’d almost believed him she’d been young and tottally dumb when it came to him however the cruelest moment came when his mother unceremoniously gave Alessandra her walking papers from her son.
She felt so overwhelmed trying to be a single mother praying she’d get this right.
Her own mother left her speechless when she started relaying the gossip she’d clearly heard about him.
But he’d made his feeling very clear when she’d left so everything her mom Liz was telling her made no sense.
However her own mom was threatening to out her to Lucas if she didn’t come home. Wow did she have some sign on her forehead – yeah I’m easy to manipulate.
He couldn’t understand how she just walked away from him no explanations no notes and absolutely no chance to fix what ever might have been wrong.
Alessandra knew this was risky coming here but she just couldn’t help herself not after all this time and wow he sounded so good until he saw her.
Lucas lost his ever loving mind the minute he saw Alessandra and there was no way he was letting her escape not this time she owed and darn it he was getting his answers.
Okay.. He certainly didn’t see that one coming were would get an idea like that?
Your own mother of course she took great pleasure in shove it in my face.
Alessandra I’m not there’s only one person for me and that’s you.
There’s no career im stuck floundering like a fish out of water.
Nothing made sense everything was so overwhelming his mother my own and his so called fack fiancee.
Alessandra wanted to believe him she’d dreamed of moments like this were he bared his true feelings.
No was never in her vocabulary when it came to Lucas she never uttered that word and she wasn’t about to now.
He’d been dreaming of this moment and never did he ever think she’d come back Lucas didn’t want to lose this magic moment between them he never wanted to let her go.
His own mother had wrecked his world and now she had some nerve to waltz into his home and immediately try to tear Alessandra a part in front of me.
She should have known his mother would do anything to make her look as bad as possible in Lucas’ eyes and to cover her own sorry rear end.
Lucas had barely noticed when Alessandra left he kept looking at the device in his hands.
He still couldn’t understand why his mother thought she had right to destroy his relationship with the only woman he loved.
Lucas couldn’t wait anymore he needed to follow Alessandra he was excited, scared and totally nervous but he wanted to prove he wanted her.
