Google Search: How to persuade a woman dead set against relationships to have a relationship with you, particularly when you’re a funeral director? Joe Swann wants the whole shebang—marriage, kids, the white picket fence. And he’s determined to go after the woman he wants—Kate Carson. Joe’s not your typical bad boy. But he’s very very bad for Kate because he’s nesting. And that’s a scary thing … that’s a scary thing for a career-minded woman. Besides, right now, Joe’s life is a complete mess—especially considering the hastily buried body Kate and Joe stumble over—and the smartest thing Kate can do is steer clear at all costs.
If only his kisses didn’t set her on fire and his touch didn’t drive her crazy. How’s a girl—even a career woman—supposed to resist?

Joe Swann is totally swoon-worthy! I love everything about him. And you will too. The chemistry between Joe and Kate is sweet and sexy. Joe’s tenacity in wooing Kate is refreshing. The character development is fantastic throughout the whole story and some of our favorites from the series are back and enrich the story that much more. A must read for fans of light romantic comedy with a touch of magic and mystery.

You Make Me Crazy is a mystery with mystical elements and a sexy vibe. I adored it and thought it was a great blend of the aforementioned elements and romance. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

This provides lots of at last moments in the series for me. Joe is an excellent example of a man determined to have his woman, he just never gives up. Kate is just as determined to not be in a relationship, lol. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, the mystery is engaging, the romance is entertaining and the supporting characters are hilarious and heartwarming. Very well rounded story that flows at a very nice pace. I am voluntarily reviewing a free copy.
What a wonderful book. I love that we finally got to see how Joe and Kate’s story finally unfolded. It was a whirlwind of some mystery but in the end it all worked out for everyone involved. The only downside was poor Theo, he needs some good in his life aside from his little girl Poppy. I am so excited to hear what happens in France. That’s going to be great. Love this series. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Kate Carson has her life planned out. She owns the “Flowers by Nature” floral shop and business is good in the small town of Hideaway Creek, CA. She is a career woman and does not plan on getting married…especially to Joe Swann…who is a mortician and director of his family’s funeral home…and who wants to get married and have kids…with Kate Carson. Kate stumbles across a body at the cemetery, one that should not be there. So of course, Kate and her friend Lile, who can communicate with animals, begin to investigate the murder and the fun begins. This is such an enjoyable story that has it all – witty dialog, romance, quirky and endearing characters and a communicating peacock! I really enjoyed this full-length story of Joe and Kate that began with Lili’s story in “It Must Be Magic” and continued in the novella “One Crazy Kiss”. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
This is the fifth book in the Mystery of Love Series. Prepare for Kate and Joe to take you on a romantic adventure. He wants it all, the picket fence, the kids, a happily ever after and she wants a career. Full of twists and family drama. Throw in a dead body and plenty of suspense to keep you page turning.. Well written and fun to read. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review. Steamy and full of spice.
An excellent mixture of mystery, romance and family drama with a sizeable crew of zany, supporting characters, including an animal whisperer and a baby whisperer that frustrated parents drool over! The heroine is a loner and commitment phobic and not near as appealing, IMO, as Joe the funeral director and big family man hero. The romance is only half the story as dead and missing persons provide an excellent excuse for Kate and Joe to stick close and investigate. Some smoldering kissing action plus a tad more for the couple, and a satisfying ending to all elements of the story.
