I was prepared to enjoy a humorous, whimsical book. just can not tolerate books that can’t stay in the human realm. I never like cats and dogs that carry on conversations and solve crimes. I couldn’t finish the book.
I found it silly and simplistic and didn’t read very far into it.
This book was full of good laughter and funny characters both human and canine.
A fun light read with great characters. Not the great American novel, but worth the read just for fun.
Started out well. The chapters about dogs talking to each other were not interesting…rather silly and ruined the book.

too many concuring sub plots to make for easy reading
Loved the title and the first chapter but it went downhill from there. The author attempted to show a year in the lives of the ladies but was interrupted often by nonsense of their dogs talking among themselves and trying to write a book. Some good chapters but…
