I haven’t read one of these books in so long and I am not sure what was stopping me. I love Kristen and this book was no different. Archer was completely devastated when Elena left him after they eloped at 18 and he had no idea why she left. It was young love, but real. She is the daughter of a well known mob boss and her life was in danger and she left to protect herself as well as Archer. Archer had really never moved on so when he found out why Elena left him and that she really did love him, he set out on a search to find her. He was unwavering in his love for this woman, no matter what happened to him. He really would go through anything to prove his love.
This book was darker than a lot of other of Kristen’s books and I loved the darkness. Sign me up for mafia books and a little blood. I’m all in. This was a great quick read and it had a really amazing hero.
Loved!
I’m loving these new “With Me” books and this is no exception. The Montgomerys have always been an exciting force but the Martinellis and their mafia ties bring a whole new form of excitement. This book is one of the best in the series and I definitely recommend it. Easily read as a standalone.
This looks amazing! If you’ve never read Kristen, she’s super talented.

It is so lovely to be back with this wonderful, close, mahoosive extended family! But that prologue ripped me apart! Lord, this book took me to the edge and I could not put it down.
Elena runs, leaving Archer devastated but there is so much he doesn’t know. But he doesn’t give up on trying to find her.
hat will happen if he finds her? One click to find out!!!
You Belong With Me is the 14th book in the “With Me In Seattle” series. What amazes me is that after 14 books, Kristen Proby still manages to create fresh, new storylines that keep you engaged.
You Belong WIth Me is the story of Archer and Elena. They were married at a very young age, but were deeply in love. When Elena’s father, a prominent mob boss, found out, he demanded she end it. After much pain, suffering and many threats, Elena breaks it off. Flash forward to many years later and neither can get the other out of their mind. Archer finds Elena. Now he has to convince her they can be together…..and he can keep her safe from the Mob family that is looking for her.
Mafia and Second chance romance?!?! Sign me up! OMG if you love mafia romance this book is for you!!!
Threats from her menacing mob boss father brought a swift end to Elena & Archer’s young romance and sent her on the run. Years later, a family tragedy brings her out of hiding & leads Archer back into her life.
A suspense filled second chance romance with the danger of mafia repercussions hanging over the star crossed lovers heads.
Kristen Proby always delivers!
I’m very picky when it comes to mafia romance stories. Since this isn’t a genre I read a lot of, I’m very selective of the authors I’ll read in this category. I’ve followed Kristen’s With Me in Seattle series since the very beginning and each time she introduces a new story, I’m always blown away.
You Belong with Me starts out with a very emotional prologue. My jaw dropped as I read the words, and there was no going back. I quickly became enamored with Elena and Archer and their journey of finding each other again. Though they were both young when they married, they both knew in their hearts that love would see them through despite being ripped apart. A difficult journey at times, I was glued to the pages. Archer was determined he and Elena would be together again.
I always love how characters we’ve met before are placed back into the story line. It’s always good to keep up with them, and to find out what might be happening next. Overall, I loved the story and all of the emotional heartbreak that came about kept you biting your nails. You knew there had to be something good happen in the ending, and Kristen didn’t disappoint.
If you’re not familiar with this group of stories, You Belong with Me is somewhat of a standalone. But I promise, you’ll want to go back and find out what you’ve been missing. Five stars from start to finish!
You Belong With Me is taking us back to the Seattle Series with a Mafia twist and I am loving it. Elena and Archer are young and in love. They want to separate themselves from Elena’s powerful family. The Martinelli crew is the high and mighty mob family. When they marry secretly they think that it will solve their problem but they couldn’t have been more wrong. Eleana’s father rules with an iron fist and what he wants is this marriage annulled and Elena free to marry a man of his choosing to connect families. Elena with the help of her grandmother flees after her so called father tortures her and threatens Archer with death.
It is Eight years and Elena has been successful in leading a secret life but she has ever forgot the man she left to protect. Archer has no idea the lengths that she went to protect him but it is time to find her and bring her back to where she belongs …with him. He is a successful business man now and also has the support of his extended family the Montgomery clan !! This is filled with mystery, secrets, steamy romance, angst and the ultimate true love.

This was my first time reading a book from the With Me In Seattle series so I didn’t know what I was getting myself into! I was a bit afraid there would be to much family mingling that I wouldn’t understand, but this book really felt like a total standalone and I wasn’t confused by the family relations. So don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous books! You can catch up later! This is a second-chance, sort of a forbidden romance set in mafia world. Elena is the daughter of the mafia boss. She and Archer were never meant to be together and her father would not allow their relationship. She ran away from Seattle, from her family and has been hiding for twelve years.
Archer was great. Warrior, steady level-headed kind of a guy. The fact that he was sweet and kind and had abs certainly didn’t hurt. He is willing to fight for Elena or to die trying. I really liked him from the first time we met him. Elena – I will be honest and say that I didn’t enjoy her as a character too much (hence four stars). I found her annoying, very repetitive and kind of close-minded.
Nevertheless it was a great read, especially if you are into suspense and mystery! Until the last moment in the book I really wasn’t certain how it would actually end.

But the mafia has a long memory.
Kristen Proby’s latest release in her With Me In Seattle series is part mafia romance, part second chance romance, and 100% a love story that includes equal amounts of steam and suspense. But despite the fact that the main characters, Elena Watkins and Archer Montgomery, met and married when they were young, the focus is not on how they eloped or even the more than decade time period they spent apart, their story centers around Archer finally finding his way back into Elena’s life and holding on tightly, no matter what they have to confront when it comes to Elena’s family and the punishment she faces.
The love that existed between Elena and Archer all those years ago when they eloped has never truly dissipated, but that doesn’t mean that the same reasons Elena broke things off when they were younger don’t still exist, because even if her mob boss father is dead, there’s still a price to pay for Elena deserting her family and remaining hidden and that punishment can only be served in blood because the mafia never forgets crimes against them, especially when that betrayal comes from within.
You Belong With Me is a second chance romance with a mafia twist, and what I liked most about how Kristen Proby crafted Elena and Archer’s story is how there really wasn’t much for them to work through when Archer and Elena reunite and while she still feels a need to protect Archer from her family, she seems to have forgotten that he’s a Montgomery and they fear no-one and nothing, especially when it comes to someone threatening one of their own and since they were married all those years ago, Elena has always been a Montgomery.
14 books in to this series and I still can’t get enough of the characters and story lines, and I’ll be patiently waiting for Imagine with Me.

5 ‘You’re Worth It’ Stars
Oh wow!!! You Belong With Me is a heart palpitating, passion filled blend between the most perfect of second chances and the most taunting of mafia romances. Truly the BEST of both worlds packed up in one EPIC love story! Mind and heart gripping in every way!
Ahhh, the feels… Even as a die hard fan of Ms. Proby’s writing I was not prepared for this book, because right there on page one, the very Prologue, it wrecked me and brought me to tears – the emotional kind ones, lol – talk about jumping right into the emotional rollercoaster of the mafia lifestyle…
So get ready for THE journey! The pain, the heartbreak that we feel right off the bat are just a sneak peek into the rainbow of emotions this book, and this couple will make us feel. Elena and Archer may very well be my new favorite KP couple.
After being torn apart by Elena’s dad, and ten years of separation, a decade of running for E, Archer finally found her and nothing will keep him apart from her now.
What I adored the most, really the very best?! The way Archer had been not only relentlessly searching for her after finding out why she had broken his heart that many years ago – moment we got to witness in the previous books of the series – but the way he was willing to do ANYTHING to win her back. So Alpha, and so very ‘ultimate book boyfriend’!
So, so many swoon worthy moments in this ‘courtship’ that I had a hard time picking up just a few from them.
Add to that an incredibly strong and resilient heroine in Elena, and it truly was a winning duo in this couple. The setting (the small coast side town of Bandon, Oregon) was so romantic and intimate that made us focus on THEM, and that just made their reconnection that more believable and intense. Elena and Archer gave us plenty of scorchingly hot moments yes, but also deeply emotional ones too.
Even with the mafia element and the conflict and internal battle it created, I never once felt too overwhelmed by its ‘darkness’, au contraire, I just felt it added positively to the intrigue and made their love and connection shine that much brighter, because they were willing to fight together for it, they had lost too much time already, after all…
Sigh, Archer and Elena were just outstanding, the relationship was just so genuine and raw, that Ms. Proby’s usual maturity of the characters stood out even more, because they themselves could see how different they were from the young adults they were one decade ago, but one thing never changed – in this case it just escalated – , the bone deep love they felt for one another.
Not only the dreamy relationship of the main couple was everything I dream for my second chance romance reads, but all their connections with the side characters including some of the other Montgomerys – and yes, though we don’t get to view much of them, they were there for them too – just added that much richness to the world building.
Kristen Proby truly outdid herself with You Belong With Me, with not only her usual brilliant and realistic story telling talent, this intensely emotional journey with Elena and Archer, introduced us to a whole new and tantalizing KP Mafia world that left me BEGGING for more. I can’t wait for Carmine, Rocco and Shane’s own books, for which I know I’ll be counting down the days. And like that wasn’t teasing enough, that ending with the hint of Shawn’s story, omg, I’m soooooo here for all these coming Proby’s gems!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Kristen Proby was one of my very first go-to, one-click when you see their name no matter what it is romance authors and not much has changed in all those years. We’ve come a long way since Come Away with Me, where it all started and she has only gotten better, more addicting.
She surely knows how to write the most epic, beautiful, unforgettable, irresistible love stories that just stick with you forever and never, ever let you go.
The With Me in Seattle series continues with another explosive, unputdownable standalone second chance installment that’ll give you all of the feels right from the very start and wrap you up tight by the very last page.
You Belong with Me was absolutely EVERYTHING in every single moment and I couldn’t put this journey down for one single second. Elena and Archer hooked me hard and hooked me fast and their journey…. gah y’all, absolute perfection in the most imperfect, complicated yet unforgettable kind of ways.
I’ve been a huge fan of Mrs. Proby and her infamous With Me in Seattle series, have been since the VERY beginning and I am CRAZY excited to see what is up next as it continues in such THE. BEST. WAYS.
I highly recommend this book y’all.

I am newer to the books by Kristen Proby but have quickly become a fan of her writing. Though I have read several of her With Me in Seattle books, they can be read as standalones, though I am slowing working my way through them. In You Belong With Me, we get a second chance romance that was emotional and steamy and full of the feels.
Elena and Archer were young and in love and wanted nothing more then to be happy and in love together. But her father, the Mafia boss, had other ideas. Rather than lose him forever, she walked away. But he is back and ready to fight for her. He was determined and charming. She was strong and caring. Will they find their happily ever after?

Happy reading!
And Kristen Proby continues to melt me into a puddle with this book. She gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME!! This book is another top hit by her and her magic words will always suck me in. She has sweet, sexy, suspense and hotness all wrapped in one amazing book!!
This series has hooked me from the beginning, but these characters are something else. They are devoted to each other, regardless of how much time has passed. They will always be there for each other, no matter what. I love how we see glimpses from the previous book to this book. We see past characters. We get it ALL!!
I am once again enthralled with Kristen Proby and her ability to tell amazing, soul felt stories.
Elena and archer have a history that is so painful and sad. They loved and wanted to protect each other so much, they gave up what they had to. Together, they must figure out the life they are going to live. It’s full of a man who loves no matter what and will take her however. A woman who is simply trying to protect, but fails to protect and keep safe. This story will blow your mind and warm your heart!!
Lots of drama and suspense in this story. We were all rooting for Archer and Elena after Dream With Me. Torn apart when they were younger, that finally come together. Elena comes from a very powerful and dangerous family. Archer never gave up on Elena. Finally together it takes a bit and some hurdles for them to find their HEA.
You Belong With Me was a true KP romance. It had all the layers I’ve come to expect from Kristen’s books but somehow this book is so much more. We are on book 14 of the With Me in Seattle world and my excitement for releases in this series has never wained. I knew Archer and Elena would be special because of their back story and history and it did not disappoint. The ride was intense and passionate and so beautiful!
I thought Kristen would be dipping her toes in the Mafia Pool with this one but she dove straight into the deep end! We didn’t get a touch of mafia…we got a vivid look into the Watkins/Martinelli mafia family. Archer and Elena are both from these crazy powerful families that couldn’t be more different. Yet underneath it all both families are loyal and loving in their own ways.
First loves are so special and I felt every ounce of Archer and Elena’s love for one another. 12 years pass and Archer is still trying to find the girl who left him with no true explanation. I think every single one of us fell a little in love with him when we realized he was going after her. Hands down one of the best lines in any book ever “I’m being held at gunpoint by the love of my life.” By the end of this book Archer had completely stolen my heart. He will stop at nothing to get his wife back.
I felt the beginnings of what could potentially be a few different stories and possibly series in this book!!Nothing excites me more! The Mafia series is definitely coming. There’s no way Elena’s hot cousins won’t get their own stories!! Also, could there be a tie in, with the animal sanctuary in Oregon that Elena was found working at and Noah King and his Spread Your Wings Bird Sanctuary in Montana from the Big Sky Crossover series?? Who knows but I know I’d love it somehow those story lines crossed paths even if it was just a scene in another book. Lastly, there’s this new gorgeous coastal Oregon town called Bandon. I would love to explore Bandon like we have Seattle, New Orleans and Cunningham Falls.
What a perfect addition to the best series ever! This may be my favorite book of 2020 so far!! Archer will knock your socks off.
Mafia romance that kept me turning the pages.
This book went into a new direction for Kristen Proby and I have to say I’m looking forward to it! When you think of a mafia romance I wouldn’t think of Kristen Proby, but I think that is about to change! This book was a great read! I loved Archer and Elena! This book grabbed me as soon as I started and I pretty much read it in one sitting! There were no lulls in the story or any long drawn out drama. Kristen also did an amazing job of setting up for the spinoff series without taking away from the story she was telling. I cannot wait to read more about the Martinelli’s!
Received an arc for an honest review.
