Yield is an easy page turning, funny, more realistic, and sex driven book that is definitely something that will keep your breath hitching and mind busy. If you are looking for a good romance with characters that are continuously growing here is your book!!!
Super hot, one handed reading….
Overall I really enjoyed this scorching hot BDSM read. I liked that it had a good balance of scenes and other plot/story. The nature of the plot meant that a lot of the ‘heat’ was in one large section/chunk.
Thankfully the author added relaxed scenes within this, allowing the reader time to digest and ‘come down’ from the intensity of the BDSM. This book really held my attention from the off, the writing is very good and the story just flowed, carrying me easily along in it’s wake.
I liked both Damon and Emily, neither was perfect, both made mistakes, leaving them feeling human and allowing you to relate to them. Their chemistry was intense and for once I didn’t even mind that it was virtually a case of insta-love. For some reason, probably because the majority of the book involves joint scenes, I could believe in the deep of those emotions.
There was only one thing that irked me, and that was Damon’s ‘make or break’ scene. I get that he is a high profile Dom but that doesn’t mean he needed to do a very public scene so quickly with Emily. Not on their second time together as Dom and sub, nor one with an audience of 20 people. What would have been the problem with privately scening with her at his club, whilst they got to know each other and build a relationship? His issue was whether she could survive the (possible) public scrutiny of being his girlfriend/sub, but that didn’t really explain why she had to be able to do a public scene with him in his club.
However I loved 95% or more of this book, so am not only happy to recommend it but will definitely read more by this author.
i was given the audio book for this story…. WOWZER!!!!!
This book was recommended to me and I’m so glad that it was. I was looking for something in the club world to read and this book checked all the boxes I wanted to read. When Emily, a wedding planner, suddenly finds her self in a BDSM club to plan a wedding of two of it’s clients, she also finds herself drawn to Damon, the owner. When he tempts her with his lifestyle he’s shocked to learn she’s actually a lot more into it that he thought, or even she thought. So he wants a taste of her and to introduce her to the lifestyle. What he doesn’t bargain for is, how good she is at it, and how much he feels for her during their time together. I can’t wait to read more of the Fettered books, book 1 has me hooked!
The storyline between Damon and Emily is outstanding.
An owner of a sex club and a wedding planner…
What are the odds of them ever getting together.
This being the first in the Fettered Series.
Looking forward to the others.
Book one of the Fettered series. Full length told in dual POV with HEA. Emily is not familiar at all with BDSM, but when she must check out a club as a wedding venue, she is curious and intrigued by what she sees. Damon owns and runs the BDSM club and he is a very public figure for the BDSM community, he is intrigued by Emily’s reaction, but he has a hard time picturing her in his world. I was surprised that this book takes place over just two weeks. Instead of insta-love it felt more like insta-connection. I really liked how much talking and communicating Emily and Damon did, and how honest they were with each other. The secondary characters are coworkers to either Emily or Damon and set up more books to the series. I enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it! I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
Lilia Moon is a new author to me and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. BDSM clubs and wedding venues don’t usually mesh. Nor do Doms who own sex clubs and buttoned up wedding planners. But a proposed wedding at the club and a 24 hour contract forever alter the lives of Damon Black and Emily Madigan. Written in dual POV, I found the story compelling was drawn to both characters. Lokking forward to reading the next book.
Oh look, another BDSM book I love!
Love this series!
Liked this book! All characters were well developed and story was interesting. Very steamy but not just all sex scenes. It actually had a good plot!…..and held my interest to the end.
Don’t get hooked only the first book is kindle unlimited
Very raunchy. Entertaining though
Best ever romance about BDSM. Like the main female character, I knew nothing about it so I, too was intrigued. I’ve read some BDSM romances since this one, but none are this informative. Also super hot and romantic. This is one I will read again. Smoking hot!!
Different but I enjoyed reading this book. This book was riveting. What you thought it was going to be about it really wasn’t. Worth reading if you like erotic romance books.
Meh.
One of the best of its kind
Really easy to read, totally kept my attention. Super steamy!!
I liked the juxtaposition of planning a wedding at a BDSM club for an older couple. Great characters all around and the book wants you to continue the series to see what happens to the rest of the crew.
This BDSM themed romance was well written, with good dialogue and a real feeling of connection not just between heroine and hero, but the rest of the characters. a cut above a lot of these books.
Just an excuse for sex. Not good.
