Book 1 in the Yellowstone Romance Series “I am not good with words, but you make my heart sing, Aimee…”Nurse and avid backpacker Aimee Donovan is offered the opportunity of a lifetime. She encounters a patient who tells her he is a time traveler and can send her two hundred years into the past to spend three months in the rugged Yellowstone wilderness at the dawn of the mountain man era. The … mountain man era. The only requirement: she cannot tell anyone that she’s from the future.
How did a white woman suddenly appear in the remote Rocky Mountain wilderness? Trapper Daniel Osborne’s first instinct is to protect this mysterious and unconventional woman from the harsh realities of his mountains. While he fights his growing attraction to her, he is left frustrated by her lies and secrecy.
Daniel shows Aimee a side of Yellowstone she’s never experienced. She is torn between her feelings for him, and exposing a secret that will destroy everything he holds as truth. As her three months come to an end, she is faced with a dilemma: return to her own time, or stay with the man who opened her eyes to a whole new world. When the decision is made for her, both their lives will be changed forever.

Barely ok. I’d actually only give it 2.5 stars.
could be okay, but waaayyyy too long
This is the book that hooked me on time travel reading!
Not a literary master but still enjoyable :o)
Loved it. Enjoy reading time travel books.
Reminds me of Clan of the Cave Bear
i really liked this book. it had enough twist and turns to keep me turning the pages. I had a hard time putting it down to get my sleep. the characters were well developed and easy to like. i would recommend this book for anyone wanting a well written time travel romance.
Loved the story and characters
Refreshing change. Great all around.
Enjoyed very much!!!
can’t wait to read the next one in the series!
Aimee a nurse, travels back in time and meets Daniel. She tries not to love him because she knows that she will return to her own time in 3 months. Nice ending
I truly love western books. The time travel was extra, and I loved the idea of love going on thru time, and also the prospect of the story continuing on.
It was different, from what I usually read. But I really enjoyed reading it, I hope to read more like it.
The whole series is captivating!
It was a fast read. Not the best of this series but ok.
Time travel from the present to the Yellowstone before it was home to more than a few French and other wandering trappers among warring Indian tribes.
You will have to let go of certain things — because common sense doesn’t apply here! She time travels and takes modern things w/her that makes story rather silly at times. BUT the characters are fun and the story starts w/o explaining everything like so many stories do, so that is fun. Quick fun read — just enjoy it!
Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and it’s characters! Well written page turner.
This one of the best book’s I have ever read. I was saddened when the book ended. What a wonderful read!!!!
