Athena wakes up in hell.
Well…it’s an alien slave ship, but it might as well be hell because she only has three choices. Mate. Become a sex slave. Or be killed. Great options. Desperate for freedom, a chance for survival is presented in the handsome rogue alien called Xul. But Xul is caught up in problems of his own and a mission he cannot afford to let fail—one that could be easily compromised … afford to let fail—one that could be easily compromised if he dared open his heart.
That doesn’t leave her with many options and it doesn’t help that she finds him utterly frustrating…
…and strong, hot, irresistible…
She shouldn’t really be thinking about him like that. Should she?
Xul is a standalone read that contains delightfully steamy scenes with a guaranteed happily ever after, possessive alpha males, and strong female leads. There is no forced mating between the hero and heroine and no cliffhanger. It is the first book in the Captured by Aliens sci-fi alien romance series.
Buy Xul today! A new galaxy awaits.

OMG, this is a first read from this author for me and I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK! Oh man, from the start the book was nonstop action and wondering what the heck was going to happen next.
I have to say that Athena is B.A! I don’t think that I would have attempted half the things she did and she survived. Her will live to see the next day even if she was abducted from Earth and very far away from home. She didn’t give up, she didn’t let Xul give up either. I love the bond that she has with him and how strong it was while they were working towards figuring out what was going on between them.
Xul was something else entirely and not meaning that he was an alien lol. He was definitely out of his element when he had to start worrying about the care and safety of Athena. He had no idea what to do with her when they crash landed together, but it all worked out. Definitely worked out in a way that I never saw coming.
The entire time of reading this book, I was on edge. So much action was going on that I felt like I was part of the story too, that I was there with the other women from Earth. Different than most alien abduction books that I have read before but not in a bad way at all. Definitely downloading the next book and devouring that one, I was fascinated with Piper and Crex and am dying to find out what happens with them! You won’t be disappointed when you download and read this book!!
Terrific Story & Audible Listen Fascinating & Thrilling!
Xul (A Sci-fi Alien Abduction Romance)
Captured by Aliens, Book 1
By: A. G. Wilde
Narrated by: B.N. Love
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. It is my first book by A.G Wilde and will not be my last, she is created an imaginative story that is out of this world. The characters are equally imaginative, different type of species and planets in outer space, light years away from Earth. The characters are nicely developed, I adored both leads, Athena, a human abducted from earth and held captive on a space ship ready to be sold to the highest bidder and alien from another planet. Xul, is a soldier on the slave ship and he is the first she sees when she wakes up. She tries to fight back but there is some high tech gadgets used to stop her with pain. I admired her strength and determination with everything that follows, she never gives up even when auctioned off. I loved how everything plays out in this book, including Xul’s mission and how Athena gets caught up in it and winds up being just what Xul needed. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is well plotted with plenty of drama, angst, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt ones and an unexpected, yet hot romance. A.G Wilde, thank you for this great story, it is entertaining, enjoyable and adventurous!
I listened to the Audible edition, B.N. Love is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. She does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voices and personality. She sets the perfect tone for the story, capturing the drama, the intensity as well as the characters emotions which can be heard in her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen
I freaking loved this book, Xul is my kind of hero and Athena is my kind of heroine for me this was an exciting read I didn’t want these characters to end.
Absolutely loved this book. Read it at the recommendation of one of my book club members and glad I did. I don’t know this writer but after reading this book I am a fan and can’t wait to read more! The writing was excellent, the characters described very well, and the storyline was gripping. I read it at one time because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen. I’ve got to know what happens to the other women who were stolen also! Loved the hero and heroine and the fact that it wasn’t love at first sight. Xul is strong and handsome and driven by personal tragedy. Athena is smart and not about to give up without a fight. Love how she’s kicking butt by the end of the book.
SEXY SCI-FI ROMANCE!!!
Title: Xul
Series: Captured by Aliens
Author: A.G. Wilde
Designation: Book 1 of Series, Full-Length, Can Be Read As Stand-alone, #sciencefiction #romance #alienhero #kickbutthumanheroine
My Rating: Four Sexy Sci-Fi Stars****
Wow! This was my first time reading the work of A.G. Wilde, but it certainly won’t be my last! I’m a total sci-fi junkie and have been for the last 65 years. At only 8 years of age, I read The Lost Island, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, and The Time Machine. When I was 10, I discovered movies like Forbidden Planet and The Day The World Stood Still. By the time I graduated high school, I’d devoured every single science fiction book in our local library. Then in the sixties, I became a Trekkie fan and was enthralled by aliens, the Enterprise, and Captain James T. Kirk as he womanized his way through the galaxy. Then I discovered science fiction romance novels which, back then, were far and few between. Thank goodness, I now have Amazon, ebooks, and my Kindle to support my addiction. Lol… And why am I sharing this information? Well, I guess I’m trying to say I’m a bit of a science fiction aficionado. I’ve read thousands of science fiction novels and can be more than a little snobbish about my choices and reviews. I also know when I’ve hit pay dirt with a new-to-me author, and I definitely struck gold when I found newbie author A.G. Wilde. A few days ago, I’d just made a purchase from one my favorite science fiction romance authors and Xul popped up in the recommendations from Amazon. I was immediately drawn to the cover. The author was unfamiliar, so I decided to check out the bio, blurb and free sample. I’m always on the lookout for talented new writers and decided to give it a whirl. Besides, it was available in Kindle Unlimited which meant I could borrow and read it for free. If I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t be out anything. And folks, best decision ever! As a matter of fact, I liked the book so much that after I finished reading, I actually went back to Amazon and purchased it for my permanent personal library. That in itself is quite a recommendation! There were so many things I enjoyed about Xul. The world building was exceptional, the narrative was beautifully written, the plot was well executed, the pacing was perfect, and the storyline was riveting, but my favorite element was the two protagonists, alien warrior Xul and human abductee Athena. I loved Xul and Athena, especially Athena! No shrinking violet heroines here! Nope, Athena was kicking butt and taking names throughout the entire story. She not only saved herself, several times, but she also saved the hero, too! Thank you A.G. Wilde! There’s absolutely nothing sexier than a strong, courageous heroine! I was so impressed with the writing that I raced back to purchase other books by Wilde. Unfortunately, Xul was the only one available at the time of this review, September 3, 2019, (remember, new author!), but Wilde did state in the acknowledgments and info in the back of the book that more in the series were on the way and gave a link to sign up for her newsletter – which, of course, I did!
Did I like this book? Well, I think it’s fairly obvious that I really liked Xul, but the real question is would I recommend it? You bet, and I am, but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language and several steamy, dreamy love scenes. But just to be clear, it’s not insta-love with the hero and heroine jumping into bed together within the first few chapters. Nope, it’s well past the halfway mark before there’s any action at all between the sheets. Was it perfect! No, there were a few minor booboos, but nothing that actually distracted me from the story, and the book was much better overall than many new-author first releases I’ve read in my almost 70 years. So yeah, I’d say if you enjoy imaginative, gritty science fiction filled to the brim with action, adventure, angst, suspense, romance, non-stereotypical aliens, and courageous kickbutt heroines, then this book is screaming your name! Will I read this author again? Absolutely! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Well done, A.G. Wilde! Now bring on Piper’s story!
