“An inventive plot and incisive character studies elevate MWA Grand Master Grafton’s twenty-fourth Kinsey Millhone novel…This superior outing will remind readers why this much-loved series will be missed as the end of the alphabet approaches.”—Publishers Weekly (starred review)X: The number ten. An unknown quantity. A mistake. A cross. A kiss…Perhaps Sue Grafton’s darkest and most chilling … kiss…
Perhaps Sue Grafton’s darkest and most chilling novel, X features a remorseless serial killer who leaves no trace of his crimes. Once again breaking the rules and establishing new paths, Grafton wastes little time identifying this deadly sociopath. The test is whether private investigator Kinsey Millhone can prove her case against him—before she becomes his next victim.

Grafton is a wonderful story teller. Never disappoints her readers. One of the best series I ‘ve read. Can’t wait for the next one.
The later books in this series lack the humor of the first half of the series. Same characters but not a laugh to b had.
Enjoyed reading another Sue Grafton book. She always holds my interest and keeps me looking for more.
Totally love Sue Grafton books. Love Kinsey Milhone character. Looking forward to last 2 books. Have all of them so far. Great reading.

I have loved every one of Sue Grafton’s books.
C
Not the best of this author’s work.
Still, she is a great writer, so it is not a bad book. It just meanders and
Gets boring through the middle 50
Percent. A slow story with odd but not very nice characters. Her other books are much better.
Vintage Grafton…….always good
No Le Carre, she is an accomplished writer who holds interest. Like many others, her books are plot-driven, but without any interesting prose or dialogue. The best of them have both.
Love Sue Grafton’s books she always delivers a very satisfying read!
I have enjoyed reading about the main character, Kinsey.
She always delivers plenty of action, well developed characters, and a good story.
This book was not Sue Grafton’s best effort
As always Sue Grafton has written a page Turner. Her alphabet books are always good. Watching the characters grow and change from the first book is great.
I have been reading Sue Grafton for many years she has never failed to entertain.
I have read most of her books. Enjoyed everyone of them.
Sue Grafton’s alphabet murder mysteries are great!
Love all the alphabet Next is better than last. Great and interesting writer; have read every one in series.
