True love is in store for one gruff cowboy in New York Times bestselling author Diana Palmer’s new Wyoming Men romance Cort Grier is no ordinary rancher. Despite his vast wealth, he still works the land with his own bare hands, unlike his troublesome new neighbor, Mina Michaels. Fiery, beautiful Mina infuriates and entrances Cort, awakening feelings he’d thought long buried. But he knows falling … knows falling for a city girl can lead only to heartbreak…
Bestselling author Mina hardly expects to meet a man like the ones in her novels. But roguishly handsome Cort is an alpha hero through and through, from his stubborn streak to the fierce way this rugged cowboy protects his heart. When one sizzling kiss leads to another, can Mina convince Cort to open his world to her–now and forever?

We have two liars that lie. He lies about being a bajillionaire with the biggest ranch in West Texas because…gold-diggers abide, and she lies about being a commando companion, soon-to-be bestselling author.
Not the worst or the most ranty DP, but the hero (with no apparent chest hair) is an STD walking that gets the little virginal heroine all liquored up then has sex with her. That’s just bad form. Shockingly enough he doesn’t slut shame her or run to the OW. Well, he is photographed with one, but it was all an accident.
Not holding much hope on true love because almost until the bitter end when she’s contemplating leaving him, he’s thinking it might be nice to go back to his womanizing ways.
Now I am going to have to read Renegade as this one is Cash Grier’s little brother. Just not the same if it’s not in Jacobsville.
Listened to audiobook. Plot was dry and repetitive
I always enjoy Diana Palmer
Fizzled Out Right Out Of The Gate
The premise was interesting but neither the storyline nor the characters made sense. The main characters’ first meeting was odd. Cort had no good reason to be so rude to Mina and her retaliation toward him was out of character for her. Cort was not a likable character. What kind of man ridicules a woman for wearing frumpy clothes off a rack? Should a cowboy really care? Then there was repeated talk about Mina’s history and how she came to be such a good writer. The risk she took to enhance her writing didn’t line up with her opinion about men. I got tired of all the incongruity and repetition in this story and the characters themselves were dull.
I enjoyed this book very much and sad when I finished it. Called my sister to make sure she read it too,
Love the author she takes time developing her characters to the point you start speaking to them. Recommend this book
Diana Palmer is an auto-buy for me and this book doesn’t disappoint.
Not steamy sexual pages.
CORT GRIER & MINA MICHAELS: Cort, one of the Grier brothers in other books under SK’s pen name, Diana Palmer, poses as a working cowboy to find a woman he could marry. Self-sufficient Mina writes romance novels, works her ranch, knits, cooks; and, stomps on Cort’s boot the first time she meets him! Cort is driven and arrogant but Mina is feisty and independent including financially. Great character development, scenery descriptions and plots with subplots. Lots of extras in this book connecting with other characters in other books from the author. Love the Grier boys’ romances Cash, Garon, now Cort…one to go! Can’t wait! Love Susan Kyle A.K.A. Diana Palmer.
Loved Wyoming Heart! I hit B&N first thing the morning of Oct 29 so I could get a copy of it! When I got home I started reading, off and on all day. Finished the book early am. It was worth the wait! Can’t wait for Diana Palmer’s next book!
