‘Wyne and Dine’ (A Citizen Soldiers Novel) by Donna Michaels is a fantastic story! This is the story of Ben Wyne and Lea Gablonski. Ben is a brother to Brandi, who we first met in the Harland County Series and Lea is her best friend. This story is extremely well written and entertaining. I didn’t want to put it down! I loved getting to know Ben and Lea and can not wait to read more about the rest of the Wyne family. I absolutely loved getting to catch up with all my favorites from the Harland County Series as well. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in this series by the amazing Donna Michaels. Highly recommend to all fans or romance, soldiers, cowboys, family and friends stories.
A cute story. There is a happy ending. I just felt like he would take one step forward and three back. Which didn’t make for a great story. But was still good.
Wonderful
This was a great story. Lea had been love with Ben forever, but he looked at her a a kid and his little sisters best friend. Now they are working closely on his sister wedding and they are admitting there feelings.
4 stars
I received a free copy of Wyne and Dine: A Citizen Soldier Series:Guarding the Hearts in the Pocono Valley book 1 Ben by Donna Michaels and this review was given freely
A fake girlfriend, good friends, unrequited love, best friend’s little sister/best friend’s older brother romance. Ben Wyne originally asks his sister’s best friend Lea to act as his girlfriend to protect himself from a married woman but what he gets is a steamy but rocky romance as Ben learns to accept his feelings for Lea and Lea learns it is okay to sometimes let her siblings help. A large number of complex characters, humor, interfering but caring families, a wedding, good friends, and a happy ending are easily blended in this full length novel including the PA based Wyne national Guard family.
Do feel relaxed with this romantic read
loved this book!!
It was a little predictable but a good story all the same.
Great read. Look forward to readongote in this series.
Just a down to earth, really good “boy meets girl”.
Boy frightened of commitment.
Girl is clever.
Girl gets boy!
Nice shirt read
Another one you couldn’t put down. It was more like a real life story. Would highly suggest this to anyone.
I was surprised that this did not keep my attention better. A nice story line, but keeping the characters straight was a bit difficult. More detailed sex scenes than I thought necessary, but if you like steamy, you would enjoy this.
Nice romance, good escape
I found it hard to follow insofar as the relationships among various characters. It was the first one I had read in this series, and it was very confusing trying to keep up with who’s who.
A standalone read with a HEA. I really enjoyed this story and I definitely recommend it.
Loved this book. Very easy to read and certainly a page turner. I would recommend it to all who love a good modern romance.
I just couldn’t get into this book, but maybe it was just me.
Kind of dumb.
Donna Michaels never fails. Love her books!
Did not like this book. Would not give it even 1 star.
