There’s a reason they call me Wylde and it’s not just because it’s my last name. I might be one of the newest players on the Arizona Vengeance team, but I’m no stranger to the celebrity that goes along with being a professional hockey player. Whether it’s a fan seeking an autograph or a puck bunny looking for more, I’ve grown used to the attention. I not only thrive on it; I use it to my … thrive on it; I use it to my advantage. Let’s just say my bed is rarely empty.
When a quirky redhead at the local bookstore stops me dead in my tracks, I decide to pop in and turn on the trusty Wylde magic. As smart and strong-willed as she is beautiful, Clarke Webber isn’t swayed by my witty banter or charming good looks. And when she realizes who I am and the fame that comes along with it, she likes me even less. Thankfully, I’m always up for a challenge. The more I get to know about her, the more I know my playboy days are behind me.
If I’m going to capture Clarke’s heart, it’s time to be a lot less Wylde, and a lot more Aaron.

In Wylde, Sawyer Bennett take us back into the world of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team – this time in the off season. The player at the center of the story is Aaron Wylde who joined the team (and series) in Tacker’s book.
This is a fun read that is definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum. I enjoyed seeing Wylde pursue Clarke (his love interest) and have to work to earn her attention. One line from the blurb that really rings true is that he has to transition from the persona of “Wylde” and show her who Aaron really is in the inside.
Wylde is well written (as expected) with a great cast of characters. Technically this is a standalone, but I would give the reader a word of warning. Please don’t start this series with Wylde – as the seventh book in the series, there are a lot of potential spoilers for the previous books if you have not read them yet. Ms Bennett does an excellent job of keeping the focus centered on Aaron and Clarke while also incorporating updates of previous main couples and pulling in characters we may see in the future. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
There is nothing more enjoyable than when the team playboy falls hard. Aaron Wylde tends to act just like his last name states….wild. He’s always up for a great party or a great puck bunny. While out jogging one day Wylde is stopped in his tracks by a redheaded beauty inside of a book store. Wylde decides to go inside and turn and the charm. After all he needs a date for Erik and Blue’s wedding and this redhead may just be perfect. Too bad Clarke Webber, the owner of the bookstore isn’t interested in Wylde’s flirty ways. Wylde decides to challenge Clarke with a bet where if she loses she has to go to the wedding with him. By the time he leaves, he has two dates lined up with Clarke.
As Wylde and Clarke spend more time together, they start to both realize that what they thought the other person was like was totally wrong and they really like each other. For the first time in his life, Wylde does not want to have the playboy type lifestyle. Instead he feels that he may have found his forever with Clarke. Just when it looks like things are going perfectly, things from their pasts come back to haunt them. It will take a lot of soul searching and trust in order for these to finally get to their happy ever after.
I just adored Clarke. She is someone I would be friends with. Clarke is smart and honest and a truly wonderful person. I really enjoyed watching Wylde change from the team playboy into a one-woman man. I loved how Clarke called him Aaron instead of Wylde. It was like he had two different personas. I really enjoyed all the weddings that they went to. It was fun seeing past couples finally get their dreams come true. Overall this was another great addition to this series.
It’s not surprise that I am a huge Sawyer Bennett fan and I lover her hockey romance books! This is Wylde’s story. I wasn’t really sure where the author was going to take this story. I was pleasantly surprised when I figured out who his love interest would be. It was a fun and playing meeting between the two, especially the bet. The heroine had an interesting backstory that made for some drama to the story but I don’t think it was enough. While I enjoyed the story, I was missing something. I wanted more. But overall, the was well written, I enjoyed the characters it just never reached that next level for me.
There’s a reason they call me Wylde and it’s not just because it’s my last name.

Loved Wylde and Clarke’s story. Beautifully written and heartfelt. Their journey wasn’t easy as something from Clarke’s past really did a number on her. Once Wylde found out about it lived how he dealt with it. Another great Arizona Vengeance story!
Is there anything sexier than a man who reads? Not just reads but reads and knows the classic? Within the first chapter Aaron Wylde quotes Catcher in the Rye and Pride and Prejudice! That is some major sexy!
Can the team playboy really fall for the timid bookstore owner Clarke? They say the bigger they are the harder they fall. Aaron Wylde might be a 50-foot giant because when he meets Clarke he falls as if gravity has like 5 times its normal pull.
Everything about Clarke and Aaron’s love story is just perfect. Their connection is on a whole other level than just physical. It is as if they are just what the other needs in their life at that moment. It was fate for Aaron to run by that bookstore and catch a glimpse of Clarke. Clarke’s trust issues were a very powerful piece in this book. As women we have all been burned by something in our past. For some that burn is powerful and dictates how we move forward in our lives. Those scars can not always heal themselves. I wasn’t sure a surface guy that we had seen in previous books could come through for someone like Clarke, but again their connection, it was if the strongest magnets in the world pulled them to each other.
The Arizona Vengeance book are enchanting. The storytelling in this series astounding. I have loved every one of them. I absolutely have my favorites and I am pretty sure that Wilder might have knocked Tacker down to second place. This wasn’t a typical reformed Playboy where the heroine had to mold him into the guy she wanted, instead the power of their attraction and affection for each other is what had Aaron Wylde changing his ways. This book spoke to my love of love. This book is a great example as to why romance novels are special. This was a 5/5 read for me.
This book was so good!!! I love books that have the hero drop like a sack of bricks for the right girl!
The writing was awesome, as usual. I cant get enough of this series!! I never thought anything could match the Cold Fury books, but I’m so glad I was wrong.
I can’t wait for Kane’s book!!
Wylde is the 7th book in the Arizona Vengeance series. I really enjoyed this book! Wylde is use to getting everything and everyone that he wants. Fame and fortune have allowed him a certain lifestyle and women fall at his feet. That is until he meets Clarke Webber. She could care less about Wylde fame, that just makes him we work even harder. I love that Clarke doesn’t fall to his feel and makes Wylde work for her attention. This was a great book and another great addition to the series!!
Wylde: An Arizona Vengeance Nobel by Sawyer Bennett is packed with feels!!!
I love love love Wylde and Clarke’s story.
Clarke is definitely one woman who has a mind of her own.
That’s one thing I love about Sawyer’s heroines. They’re always their own person, and find a way to complement their partners.
An Wylde is just the man to take on a strong woman, and show her she deserves all the good.
This one book you’ll be completely hooked on!
5 Phenomenal Stars
Wylde showed his softer side in this story. Our playboy notices Clarke in a bookstore while jogging. He is intrigued by the beauty wearing glasses. So not his usual type. When she tries to brush him off he challenges her to a book quote test to win a date with her. She thinks he’s just a jock and figures there’s no way he can win. He surprises her and thus begins a love story. I had a little trouble loving Clarke until you find out why she is so not interested. I love how kind and understanding Wyle was with her. I love seeing all the guys and gals from previous stories getting together. Such a fun read.
I am a huge Sawyer Bennett fan and I am obsessed with her Arizona Vengeance series. Wylde is no exception. Aaron Wylde is a player enjoying his celebrity status and the single life to the fullest. However, there is so much more to him, we get to see the layers that are Aaron Wylde, he is sexy, intelligent, loyal, persistent, funny, and loving. Clarke is a strong, beautiful woman who has good reason to mistrust men and the celebrity lifestyle. Wylde has never had to work so hard to get a women to spend time with him and despite her reservations Clarke begins to fall for this complicated, sexy man. Into Wylde and Clarke’s story, Sawyer weaves Arizona Vengeance weddings and championship trophy celebrations. The family that is the Arizona Vengeance, although shocked to see Wylde in a relationship, sweep Clarke into their fold. Still having glimpses of the other couples in each book is probably one of the reasons why I love this series so much. This is another exceptionally good and enjoyable book in the series.
Wylde was the whole package……I laughed a lot, I cried, I wanted revenge against a bullying a-hole. When Aaron decides to get back into training during the off season he didn’t expect to be floored by Clarke. But when he wins a bet with her and get not one but two dates out of it he gets blown over. I loved how giving Aaron is and the fact that we got four weddings, and a baby was just the icing on the hockey cake. Can’t wait for the ne
The Arizona Vengeance have just won the cup and it’s the off season. Aaron Wylde happens to jog past a bookstore where he sees a gorgeous red head behind the counter. And that’s all she wrote, as they say, cause he is smitten.
Clarke Webber isn’t interested in getting involved with a man, much less one that has fame attached to him. She’s been burned before. But Aaron will not be denied and he wins a bet that results in Clarke being his date for one of the many weddings in this book.
There isn’t a whole lot of conflict in this love story, as a matter of fact, it’s pretty much a love fest, with weddings, the Stanley Cup and other interesting surprises. If you have been reading this series, there is a good bit of page time for the characters in previous books and for new readers, the book still works just fine as a standalone.
Aaron falls hard for Clarke and starts seeing he could have a different kind of life with her. But her past may prevent her from truly trusting Wylde and that’s where the conflict comes in. I love that Aaron doesn’t apologize for his fame, but helps Clarke see that he’s not like the nasty person from her past. They are an adorable couple, and I was happy they got their HEA. It did seem like this book wrapped up some storylines from the first six books in the series, and introduced some new characters I’m hoping we will be hearing about!
So, while predictable, Wylde is a sweet tale of falling hard, learning to trust and moving on from the past to a new future.
Aaron Wylde just might be my favorite Arizona Vengeance hockey player yet! Wylde is the love ’em and leave ’em kind of guy, the consumate playboy, and he had me from the very start and kept me in the palm of his hand to the very end. I absolutely loved him and his classic book loving self. Just yes – Sawyer Bennett you broke the mold when you wrote him.
Bookstore owner Clarke is a redheaded, glasses wearing, self proclaimed bookworm. She is beautiful in an unassuming sort of way. She is weary of men, especially famous ones because of an incident from her past. She’s beautifully broken and avoids getting involved with a certain kind of man.
When Aaron see’s Clarke through her shop window he is smitten and actively begins pursuing her. Never having dated a woman before he stumbles a bit before finding his stride and soon Clarke is falling for his charm. Although hesitant and mistrustful, Clarke slowly begins to overcome her fears and embrace What is happening between them. Watching Aaron and Clarke navigate their way to a beautiful and sweet happily ever after makes this book a fantastic Five Star Hockey Romance read. TBR and enjoy.
Wylde (Arizona Vengeance #7) by Sawyer Bennett. Aaron Wylde is the team’s number 1 playboy. He loves that title as much as he loves his team and teammates. On a run one day he goes by a bookstore where a redhead with coke bottle glasses catches his eye. Desperate to get to spend time with her he tricks her into going to 2 of his teammate’s wedding. From there the sparks fly. The once self proclaimed playboy has found someone worth giving up his wicked ways. Clarke has no clue who Wylde is and is not concerned with getting to know him. She has been burned before and this guy is to good to be true. Unfortunately she has lost a bet and the time she has spent with him has her wanting to give him a try. Initially I wasn’t sure if I would care about Wylde and his story. I was proven wrong. He is a sweet person. There is definitely more to him than meets the eye. Not only is he good looking, sexy, successful and rich he is smart, deep and slightly damaged. I truly enjoyed his and Clarke’s story. As always I like catching up with all of the other characters from the previous books. More than I expected 4 stars for me.
*4 Stars*

Another great instalment in this series. I love these hockey boys and getting their books. I really liked Wylde. He was caring and patient and so much more than you expect from someone with the playboy reputation he’s known for.
I liked Clarke and I loved the fact she’s a book nerd, totally relatable of course haha. The only thing I didn’t really like about her was her reaction at the inevitable issue that pops up towards to the end of the book. Everything else I could understand, but that moment was a bit of an “are you serious?” moment to me.
I loved all the bits we got with our lovelies from the previous books and there were so many things happening in the background with them, it was lots of fun.
Looking forward to more in this series.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
Aaron Wylde is the hero in this story and he meets a new character to this story, Charlie. he fells into insta crush pretty fast and Charlie really made him work for it. I loved that we got to attend 4 previous books weddings in this one book and how Aaron used it to get to know Charlie better.
For Charlie, she really was charmed by Wylde but her issues were with his famousness. She had a really bad experience in her past and I did not blame her fears and so she really had to give Aaron a lot of trust to face her fears and have a relationship with him.
I adored Aaron and I loved how he had Charlie’s back and made the guy that hurt her suffer. I also loved seeing Dom and Willow and all the WAGS and how they interacted with Charlie and Aaron. This was a really fun story and I cannot wait for Kane’s.
I devoured Wylde. This sexy single, hockey player with a history of being a playboy, made me swoon and oh my heart! I’m absolutely smitten with every little detail that makes up this story!
Watching Aaron Wylde transform from his playboy ways into a open caring man, I was in book heaven. Smart, well read, funny Hot and interesting he was so not what Clarke Webber had expected. Every moment spent with these characters was an ultimate pleasure. I had belly flutters, little electric sparks zapping me as I read. There was so much beauty in this love story, such decadent sweetness in their relationship that transforms Wylde and Clarke.
On top of that we get to see the Arizona Vengeance team not only celebrate their Cup Win but we get to see several weddings over the course of this romance. Hooray! As a mega fan of these books I was delighted to see these characters again and see more of their HEA’s.
I ate up each page of this romance. Watching Aaron and Clarke’s relationship grow was fun, exciting, sweet and sexy and so, so good!
Received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
So far, Tacker was my absolute favorite of this series, due to all the circumstances and his story was so anticipated, and what a wonderful story he has. But after reading Wylde, I must say they are both kinda sharing this spot now?! Well, they’re best friends, so they absolutely can!!!
Aaron sees Clarke through the window of her bookstore one day on his run, and steps into the store. He ‘challenges’ two dates out of her, so she attends two weddings of his team mates with him.
After realization sets in, that Aaron is a famous hockey player, Clarke is hesitant as she got burned by media before. But slowly, swoony and lovely Aaron weasels his way into her life. I absolutely adore him. He’s definitely what Clarke needed .
This story brings all the whole team together on more than one occasion. It’s fantastic to see this tight team being friends and family to each other!! We get to see a tiny snippet about Kane’s upcoming story and I am already very excited!

Aaron and Clarke are an interesting pair. I wasn’t sure if they would ever work past her trust issues but as usual Ms Bennett delivers!! Can’t wait for more!!
