True Powell is a sweetheart–and he has a boyfriend. So why can’t I stop thinking about him? TRUE POWELLI’m in …
TRUE POWELL
I’m in love with Baz Calhoun, and he loves me. We’ve been together a while now, but something’s missing. When I meet Arden Lowell at my brother’s wedding, I’m glad to help her out. When I get to know her, I discover she just might be exactly the woman we’ve been looking for. A threesome. A ménage a trois. A triad.
BAZ CALHOUN
I fought hard to embrace my identity as a gay man. Or bisexual, as my boyfriend True reminds me. That might be so, but I don’t want to jeopardize who I am. When I meet Arden Lowell, I’m shaken. Everything suddenly looks different. How can I want her the same way I want True? Can the three of us find happiness . . . together?
This is an adult rock star romance intended for mature audiences. Not appropriate for readers under 18.
No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA. This is Book 4 in the Wycked Obsession series, the beloved fantasy of romance between hot rock stars and the ordinary women who love them. While this is a stand-alone romance, your reading experience may be enhanced by starting with the first three book in the series: Wycked Crush, Wycked Rumors, and Wycked Escape (in that order).

Wynne Roman proves there is no set formula for love with Wycked Trio the forth book in her Wycked Obsession series!
True, Baz and Arden were three people who desperately wanted to be loved and more importantly give love. Their story was one of trying to find a place where not only were they accepted for who they were individually but in finding their places in a relationship. Their struggle to overcome personal demons and stand up for what they wanted was an emotional journey well mapped out by this author. Each character in this triad was integral to the partnership they were in. Always missing something before in relationships, True, Baz and Arden found completion as a threesome. Each one of their personalities was well defined and brought something unique to their triad and this work. True and Baz were heroes who offered a lot of book crush material and Arden was an heroine that readers will feel full on book chick comradery with. With no shortage of drama and interesting plot developments this was a quick read and an excellent addition to the Wycked Obsession series!
Ms. Roman’s perceptive writing came into play while she worked through her characters fumbling through the complexity of three people in an intimate relationship. The insecurities and vulnerabilities of her individual portrayals were a large part of this story allowing readers to identify with them on a personal level and see beyond the bedroom and into their hearts. While steamy well-placed love scenes helped bridge this story as it developed it was Wynne Roman’s captivating storytelling that was the true driving force in this work. Wycked Trio proves hearts can just as easily find room for three as two!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*
4.5 stars I am not always a fan of menage romances so you may be asking why I read Wycked Trio. Well, that is because this author is a 1-click for me and I just knew the she would blow me away. Let me just tell you that it was hot hot hot!
Baz is a hardworking, bisexual male who is Wycked Obsession’s manager. True is his long-time partner and is the opposite of Baz in that he is more laid back and is more secure with his sexual identity. The two of them together are such a great couple, but what happens when you introduce a woman to the mix? I adored Arden. Her family is something else and I like how she started to stand-up for herself. This book is told from a tri-POV, which I really liked. While I loved Baz, I did have a little more trouble identifying with him compared to True and Arden. Nonetheless, all 3 characters won me over. It was also great to see the band members from Wycked Obsession too.
I enjoyed watching how their relationship evolved, but this type of relationship isn’t easy. There are struggles – both personally and as a triad. Wycked Trio is a menage romance with MFM, MMF, and MM scenes that will steam up your kindle. I don’t want to say more other than you just need to read it. This is a fast paced book with three wonderful characters, a lot of steam, and relatively low on angst. I received this book for free
Three times the charm!
I’ve been looking forward to reading this one since the last page was turned on Wycked Escape not too long ago! I LOVE these Wycked Obsession guys and can’t wait to read every single one of their stories.
Wycked Trio is wicked indeed with the bands hot manager, Baz/Sebastian and his gorgeous soulmate True burning up the beginning pages of this book! Whew, my kindle was on fire with these two! What a hot, hot, hot and sexy pair they make!
The its off to Hawaii for True (major swoon factor here!) to attend the destination wedding of his stepbrother where Baz will eventually join him.
Meanwhile, downtrodden Arden is packing her bags to go stand for her cousin at the destination wedding where she’ll have to endure her bitch of a sister, also a bridesmaid and her hateful mother. But how will Arden deal with a backstabbing sister who was caught in the ‘act’ screwing HER boyfriend in THEIR own bed??? That would be a hard no for me!
Add in a mix up with her room, an unwanted wedding guest or 3, a very hot guy who it seems is gay, in serious, committed relationship and wants to help her and I’d call this a recipe for a crazy, possibly unforgettable vacation to say the least!
But the wild times and self discovery have just begun for Arden as she realizes that #1- you only live once, #2- first impressions are not always what they seem AND #3- she is way more adventurous than she ever dreamed she could be!
Wow, this was an amazing book, so surprising as the story unfolds with it’s sensual, so, so sexy side and the unexpected layers it revealed to me throughout. I’m still fanning myself!
Some angsty moments as our Trio tries to figure out what they are to each other and how to be together. Are all participants equally invested? I found myself dabbing tears quite a few times as these and other issues are brought into focus and what an emotional ride Wynne Roman has taken me on with her beautiful story.
I highly recommend this one, it’s really going to stick with me for a while. The Wycked family warmed my rocker soul with their witty ways as they wove their way back into my heart again and all over this story. I am looking forward to Rye’s story next. Bring it on Wynne, I’m so ready to see what you have for us in book 5 !!!
I was so happy to recieve an advanced copy of this book to review and I loved every minute of it!
Wycked amazement….
This is book 4 in the Wycked Obsession rockstar series. Although it can be read as a standalone, there are huge spoilers from the first 3 books, so I recommend starting from the beginning.
I really don’t know how to start describing this book. So many emotions… Wynne Roman is really becoming one of my favorite authors and the development in her writing is continued book by book. This book was one that I will certainly remember for a long time.
When I first heard that before continuing the series with another of the Wycked Obsession band members she would write Wycked Trio, a ménage involving Baz, the band’s manager, I was skeptical. But the truth is that it was not at all out of place in the grand scheme of things. On the contrary, I came to understand that it was necessary in order to give the time to the remaining members of the band to gain the emotional stability they certainly need in order to be open to find their own happy endings.
Another thing I was skeptical with was the ménage. This was certainly not the first MMF novel I’ve read, but ménages are not my ideal kind of read. Not because they are not good or anything, but because I usually find myself unable to really engage with the characters, as I can’t emotionally understand how someone is able to jump in a three way (or more) relationship, sexual and else, and be ok with sharing their object of desire and love. But this book really blow up my mind. Ms Roman made me be completely emotionally involved and understanding of her characters’ motives and feelings. True and Baz (Sebastian) had a really solid, loving relationship when they met Arden (and although I felt a little awkward at first reading about their intimate moments, since I’m not used to M/M action, I got over it really quickly due to the real emotional foundation). Arden, although never caught up in a situation that involved two guys before, she was open and acceptable to her feelings and her attraction to both men (it was a fantasy of hers, she said). Arden accepted and admired them for who they were and their loving relationship was something that genuinely excited and pleased her, not making her envious at all. True was the one who was more certain about what he wanted regarding the role of Arden in their lives, but Baz was the one that stole my heart in the end, despite, or maybe because of, his struggles. Also, we learn some things about our Wycked Obsession boys (and their girls) – Knox (Wycked Obsession 2) and his fiercely protective nature is still my favorite, I might add.
I don’t want to reveal more than I’ve already had about the plot, so I’ll stop here. All in all, it was a great read. If you are looking for real, deep, emotional characters, don’t skip it –even if it isn’t about a band member. Five solid stars from me. I can’t wait for Rye’s book, the next installment in the series.
