Can their pretend pledge turn into something real?Marcy Payne has been flying the crop-dusters over farms and ranches in Three Rivers for two decades. She’s been running the family business as her father ages, so she’s shocked when he dies suddenly–and she can’t keep the planes and her career unless she’s married.… and her career unless she’s married.
One such ranch she’s been keeping pest-free is Seven Sons, and when former rodeo star Wyatt Walker learns of her plight, he seizes the opportunity to keep himself in her life. Seizes it without fear, the way he tamed bulls for all those years–down on both knees, with a diamond ring extended toward Marcy.
She likes Wyatt, and there’s no one else proposing, so Marcy and Wyatt take the leap and tie the knot. As she teaches him about the planes, and he opens up about the challenges of his rodeo career, Marcy starts to fall for the gruff cowboy. Will Wyatt and Marcy be able to stop playing pretend when the feelings get real to find a true happily-ever-after?more
I thoroughly enjoyed the characters is the book. The story line was exciting with ins and outs, ups and down. No one can write a series like Liz Isaacson. Her books flow into each other even from earlier books. I love the It is several families joined together in lots of hard time and love. I wouldn’t miss ready all of Liz’s books. They are fascinating!
I have always like her books I have read quite a few get story well written hot steamy passionate loving caring the characters are great can’t wait see what next of hers.

Another great story from Seven Son’s Ranch! It’s so good to finally get Wyatt’s story and see him and Marcy together. All of the “son’s” with their cowboy ways and lots of money are really just big teddy bears with big hearts that love their family and God. This story deals with love, loss, trust, and commitment. I love the way all the brother’s interact and it’s great to see the guys loving and taking care of their kids. I especially like that both fostering children and adoption are highlighted in this series. Don’t miss Liz Isaacson’s latest best seller!!!
Wyatt has had feelings for Marcy for some time but their “relationship” just can’t seem to move forward. When Marcy’s dad passes away, she finds out he has a requirement in his will that she will have to complete in order for her to inherit the crop-dusting business. He requires that she be married for at least one year. When Wyatt steps up to be her husband will this move their relationship forward and in to something permanent? A great book with wonderful characters and a great romantic story line. You don’t want to miss this one.

Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge is the 5th book in the Seven Sons Ranch. Will Wyatt end up being another of the Walker Brothers to start a pretend marriage and hopefully have it turn real? Marcy has pushed Wyatt away because her father was dying and she didn’t have time or energy to devote to a relationship. Wyatt has always had feelings for Marcy even when she pushes him away. After her father dies, Wyatt and his brothers go to the funeral as support for Marcy. When Marcy hears her father’s will that in order to keep the aerial pest control company that she loves, she will have to be married soon and for a year. The only man she can think of is Wyatt. When Wyatt hears, he immediately agrees to the marriage as a way to keep Marcy. When they talk about the marriage, they decide that they have feelings for each other that could turn into love. They have some rough times ahead but I like how Liz Isaacson has them work through them and not just gloss over them. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I received an ARC from the author and am leaving my honest review.
The Walker brothers are all good guys with big hearts. Wyatt is no exception. He has been interested in Marcy for while but their relationship seems to take two steps forward and then one back. Marcy’s love is tied up with her father and flying. With her father’s death she finds out that he has an unusual requirement for her to inherit the crop-dusting business she loves: she has to be married and it has to be last for at least a year. Wyatt steps up and offers to marry her. It is the only solution but it does have more than a few problems to be faced. I enjoyed this book.
A very good book on loyalty and perseverance for true love. Overcoming fears and trusting others.
Ever since being introduced to Wyatt and Marcy in Book 4 with a little teaser about both of their situations, I had been eagerly awaiting their story. I thought Wyatt was so special especially since he was in so much pain from all the injuries he had sustained during his bull-riding career and I liked how the family rallied around him after he finally clued them into just what he was going through. Marcy had her problems also keeping the crop-dusting business her father had established from going under even before her father passed away. Now, according to her father’s will, she has to be married for a whole year in order to receive her inheritance which is that same business she had been working herself to the point of exhaustion just to keep afloat. Two people with what seem to be unsurmountable trials and one solution that could be the answer for both of them while also giving them the opportunity to explore the attraction between them that has been sizzling just below the surface since they first met.
Ms. Isaacson once again has given us a book filled with love and hope and a wonderful family dynamic that puts faith in God to guide them at the forefront of their lives. There are two brothers left and I can’t wait to see what happens for them to get their HEA’s also!

Ok This is a wonderful series, this one did not disappoint, so far it is probably my favorite, but I don ‘t know for sure, as I have liked them all. I keep wondering how she will make it different, and she does not disappoint. Marcy has a business and is not your typical lady, she is a pilot and mechanic, Wyatt is a retired rodeo star. They make a wonderful pair with lots of issues to work through. If you like clean and cowboys, this is the book for you. the whole series is, BUT the great thing is you can read any or all of them as stand a lone, no cliff hangers. They do mention a few of the other characters to keep you interested, but you COULD stop after one book and not be too worried about what happens. BUT you might just get invested in this family of cowboys!!
4.5 ***** stars Marcy’s father has passed leaving her their business. Problem is, she has to be married for a year. Wyatt, a retired championship bull rider, has deep feelings for her and offers her a solution, a fake marriage. He wants it to be real but she is leery of opening up her heart. I have really enjoyed reading this family’s series about seven sons whose fake marriages became real. We all carry baggage that makes us fearful of trusting. I like the love and support the brothers have for each other and will always step in to help when needed. Although this story is about Wyatt, it has also brought in two more of the brothers setting them up for their books next.

These books in this series just keep getting better. I absolutely loved Wyatt and Marcy’s story. Their story itself plus all the catch up on the other brothers. I was captivated from the beginning. It brought tears to my eyes, made me laugh and left me with a smile. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book.
Wow. There is so much going on in the Walker clan. And it’s left me feeling a little bi-polar in my reactions to this book. I adore the Walker men. They are everything that is good and noble about the cowboy spirit. In this book, Wyatt showed that he’s got a heart as big as all Texas. That love of our cowboy heroes has often made it difficult for me to connect with the women in their lives. Marcy was not an exception to this trend. For most of this book I liked her. I could so easily empathise with her for the loss of her parents. Where she lost me, was when Wyatt became the “bad guy” to her way of thinking. I was very glad to see both of them apologize for the mistakes they made, but there was still this chunk of time where I didn’t much like one of our leading characters. I’m loving the seeds that have been planted for the remaining brothers’ stories and I can’t wait to read them.

I found a few of the chapters detracted from the main story line but I understand that they were setting the scene for the next episodes in this series. Overall I found this story to be very entertaining

Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge is the story of Wyatt and Marcy. Marcy had lost her father, and during the reading of the will, discovered that she had to marry in order to inherit the crop dusting business. This sets the stage for another Walker son to marry for necessity instead of love.
There are many challenges to Wyatt and Marcy’s marriage. Between the difference in their financial status, Marcy is finding it difficult being married to a famous man. Cracks begin showing in the marriage as time goes by. But, as we know, Wyatt and Marcy will find their HEA ending and their journey is an entertaining story.
Although this is a stand-alone book, I believe it would be helpful to the reader to read this series in order. While this is the story of Wyatt and Marcy, the lives of all the brothers are deeply intertwined. This is a wonderful series filled with awesome billionaire cowboys and their journeys to true love. 5 stars all the way!

Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge is book 5 in the Seven Sons in Three Rivers series by Liz Isaacson and these stories get better and better!
While each book is a standalone with a different couple about their trials, problems, emotions and navigating through life…you also see the interaction between the rest of the family and how they help each other to live a life centered around faith, hope and love!!
Wonderful characters, great world…
We get to know the boys’ mom and dad a bit more… Mom pretty much rules the roost… because Daddy loves her so much!
Oh and they love their boys and know to parent each one differently.
Wyatt and Marcy know they love each other, but both have to learn to live honestly with each other… well, first they have to figure out what’s wrong with their relationship.
The series of the 7 Sons Ranch is a kind of family saga, a continuous narration of the family, while each book sees one of the brothers getting married, but each book can be read as an individual story.
This book is concentrating on Wyatt, former Rodeo king, finding his bumpy road to happiness. His beloved Marcy is unsure to commit, when suddenly her father’s death demands that she get married or lose her business. Wyatt offers her to get married – a marriage of convenience, or if she is willing a real chance at a happily ever after.
A set-up that is bound to bring up trouble….
Well-written in the typical style of Ms. Isaacson, blending Christian ideas and romance, insecurities and fears.

This is one long Cowboy story. It has a good storyline and even better characters. It truly made me want to read the prior stories in this series also… What troubled me enough to take this otherwise good story down a star were the unbelievable number of typos and spelling errors that definately should not be there just a few days prior to publication. A few typos are ok in an ARC but wow not like this… So this story gets fabulous four stars with the hope that this author will either learn better spelling and or get a better editor before the next publication.

Wyatt and Marcy’s story is my favorite in this series so far. Wyatt has been patient. Both are very independent which I think is one of the main challenges they have as a couple. It’s emotional, as they try again to work it out it full of family love, growth and support. This family is predictably very good at pretend relationships, love it!
