WTF, God? Was written by Michelle N. Onuorah. When there is a book with a spiritual feel to it, I generally do not want to read it. I will admit that this book was interesting. It is Onuorah’s journey with her spiritual life and how she responds to it. There are ten lessons that Onuorah has learned about God and his role in her life. If you need a spiritual uplifting this story is for you.

I wouldn’t necessarily call myself religious and there are times I’m not even sure I’m spiritual so it may come as a surprise that this book had me completely drawn to it the moment I stumbled across it. Michelle N. Onuorah delivered a fantastic story about faith, triumph and life at the just the right time in my own. I’ve recently been trying to adopt the mindset that everyone I meet has their own set of troubles and life tests and it isn’t my job or business to compare or judge what is hard for others. From the unapologetic forward of this book to the very end, Michelle N. Onuorah had my ear. I really enjoyed this short, inspirational read.

WTF, God?: Understanding God in the Midst of Transition written by Michelle N. Onuorah is the first book that I have read by this author. WTF God shows us how Michelle explores her experiences as a young adult and the ways in which her faith guided her through decisions and changes. It also shows that Crossroads are an inevitable part of life. But how do you navigate them when your life is not your own?

WTF, God? I have found myself saying this many times throughout my life. I wanted to read this book to see how someone else handled this statement.
This is the first book I have read by this author and because I went in “blind” I wasn’t sure if it was a memoir or fiction. Either way, the lessons written about are valuable and thought provoking. Transition is hard and transitioning through life changing events is even harder. This book had a sense of self that I haven’t found in other stories.
It was a quick read yet held a great deal of depth to it.
I would recommend to everyone. I think these are basic life tenets in this story could be applied to any religion. Don’t freak out because of the title.
WTF God is one woman’s journey on her relationship with the Lord and her faith. I think we are all guilty of making plans for our lives and expecting them to go that exact way. Sometimes our plans don’t work out. Not just walking by faith, but in faith is an important part of life for a lot of people. One of my favorite parts of this book is when she is at her friend’s house and she can’t find the gift she brought with her. She’s searching through the car and it is the thing that sends her over the edge. She is so mad with God at everything that has or hasn’t happened. She finally lets go and screams at God. It’s part of having a relationship. Sometimes we get angry. That’s how my relationship with Him works. I love that she addresses that and says that its okay. This is just a great story of how God has plans for us and if we would just sit still and listen, we will know what to do.
WTF, God? is an inspirational memoir by Michelle N. Onuorah. In it, she explores her experiences as a young adult and the ways in which her faith guided her through decisions and changes.
The writing style is informal and passionate. Onuorah makes frequent reference back to the Bible, with references given for follow up. The book is more or less chronological, but also structured by the key lessons she has learnt through her experiences, and wishes to convey to the reader.
The word that keeps coming to mind when I think about this book is generous. In sharing her experiences, Onuorah is offering her reader hope and guidance. The tone is positive and optimistic, even when she is talking about struggles with mental health and rejection.
I would recommend this book to anyone, particularly young adults, who are struggling to find direction in their life. Throughout the book, Onuorah focuses on her faith and how her strong relationship with God helped her to make sense of her life and accept the things which she cannot control. Reading about the setbacks and delays she experienced inspires patience and hope.
For me, this is a five star book. It’s encouraged me to think, and comforted me. I’m glad I read it!
I can hear feet running rapidly away from this book because of the title. But anyone who does so will be missing out and therefore robbing themselves of a beautiful journey buoyed by faith and grace. This book was beautifully written and a pleasant surprise. My first book from this author, I certainly hope it will not be my last.
This is my first book by this author, I loved it. This story took me on a journey of a woman who questions her faith and what plans God has for her. What she realizes throughout this story also had me questioning what plans God has for me. It will make you think and maybe even question what you believe. This story is easy flowing and true to life. I could easily see myself as this character. You won’t regret picking this book up, a must read.

The book WTF, God?: Understanding God in the Midst of Transition is such a wonderful read by the talented Michelle N. Onuorah. This is a candid, humorous, insightful, and inspiring story. I wasn’t sure at first glance if I would really enjoy it- but Ms. Onuorah soon proved me wrong. I flew through this book in under an hour and enjoy every word. The story is full of heart and soul- and has some wonderful ‘lessons’ to impart. This is a story of faith and ‘our’ relationship with GOD, especially when life seems to be in flux. It is well worth the read!
Thank you, Ms. Onuorah!

My first read by this author and Holy Moly what a read…I’m not a deeply religious person as far as the different religions, but I’m a sincere Christian and I completely appreciated this author sharing this story. It had me asking myself a lot of questions, some I really didn’t have answers to and others I felt like I was on the same page as this author.
I read this in about an hour and spent a bit of time after with many thoughts going through my head. As far as the writing style this author has, I loved it…Every word flowed perfectly and smoothly and I’m really looking forward to looking into her other books especially Jane…I really must read that book.
Thank you Miss Onuorah for sharing this story, I can not imagine it was easy to write but I am so thankful I was able to read it!
Awesome!

I could feel that it is written from the heart and enjoyed the lessons that it gave. It is a story that is honest and beautifully told. It is a book that takes you through a period of the author’s life. It is a story about faith and includes the power of prayer in a person’s life. I enjoyed how the author told things that way they are and didn’t beat around the bush or try to minimize things. I found myself looking at my faith and relationship with Him in a different way.
