Young and innocent Raven Gables was strictly off limits, a fact Creed Lyons made sure to remind every surrounding male—including himself. Keeping her at arm’s length Creed was content to watch the young beauty from afar, but cruel fate always found a way to laugh in his face. From the moment Creed arrived to rescue her, Raven knew the taciturn soldier covered in tattoos would change her life … life forever. Over the years he had become more than just a proxy “uncle” in her eyes, he was the dark-eyed man that haunted her dreams. The question was, would Creed ever see more than just a tragically orphaned schoolgirl?
Like family, it was his job now to care and look after her, but God help him he wasn’t prepared for this type of hell. There was only so much a man could take staring back at wide innocent eyes that begged the predator inside to devour her.

This book does focus on the relationship between them. How much each of the other thinks of the other is a duo perspective. There are times where they realize their feelings but do not know how to proceed after that. This is a young woman older man romance as well as a forbidden romance between a niece and a step-uncle. They do realize there feeling but they are also clinging to each other because they are the only family that they have. This is a slow burn romance. If you love Alexa Riely’s “Innocence” series then you’ll enjoy the slow burn for this one but without the Daddy play.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns with emotions that makes you want more with lust and hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that Creed had to find Raven and keep her safe.

I totally like this book, a little risque with the age, but nothing happens until she was of age. Their feeling could not be denied, he held off until he was ready to hurt someone.
Creed has been in her life for a long time, she has been in love with him since she knew what love was. As a young teen she confess that love to him and got her heart broken.
Creed didn’t know that the feeling he had for this young girl could turn into anything, but once his mind told him what his body already knew, he had to put distance between them. A tragedy will bring them back together again just before her 18th birthday where he will be her guardian, but no one is to know that he is not her uncle.
Beautifully written and swoon worthy..

I honestly had no idea what to expect going into Wrongful Desires and to start I was impressed. The premise the book is written on is great, I really like the story itself. Im just not 100% sure about the actual telling of the story.
I love taboo and books that go right up to the line of what is acceptable. In this aspect I feel like the author really did a great job. It was more the personalities of the characters that I just could not get on board with. Raven had a lot of tragedy in her young life and clung to her “uncle” in a way that I found relatable and somewhat endearing at first, until I figured him out….
Creed on the other hand, was just over the top possessive, alpha male. I liked him at the beginning of the story but as time went on he grated on my nerves. He expected a lot from Raven and was willing to give little back as far as self denial was concerned. I dont want to go any further as I feel that would be venturing into spoiler territory.
This book will be perfect for some readers, it just wasnt for me.
There were also editing errors that were somewhat of a distraction.

this whole book was just creepy to me. I thought I would like it but I could not finish it. This is the first for me by this author and I went in with eyes open but this was NOT something I could finish.

Lots of intense buildup as this older man/younger woman romance between military man Creed and barely legal Raven.
True, she had been in love with him most of her life. Creed was her only remaining family after her parents pass in an unexpected accident.
When he finally got to her four long months after her loss, Creed took severe precautions to make sure Raven was safe.
I liked the over the top way he obsessively watched her. Finally coming to terms with his mutual love for her, he finally admitted to himself that he would be her one and only as he could not tolerate her with anyone else.
Very steamy buildup with a HEA ending that I wished were longer.

When Raven lost her parents in a horrible accident, she knew that the man she has loved for what seems like forever would be there for her. Creed has always been there.
Creed has fought the forbidden feelings of love for Raven by running across the globe completing missions – but when his best friend and his wife get killed he does everything to return home quickly to Raven.
He will protect and love her with all of his being.
This short, taboo, age-gap romance is my first read by Katerina and I am really impressed. The love these two characters have for one another is so loud thru the unspoken gestures. Creed is protective and Raven is loving and compassionate. This was a slow burn, Raven is at legal age when their relationship is consummated – everything happened with consent. Katerina built such an intense storyline between the two and when the dam ruptured it was fantastic. I will definitely be reading more of her works
