Loved the main characters, devotion to doing what is right. Slams home how much corruption is around and how easily people in all areas are pulled in for many different reasons.
It was the third in a series and every bit as good as other two.
As a retired ER nurse, I could related to the nurses in this book. I’ve also known doctors with the god complex like Dr Rainey. I found interesting to read about the illicit drug business. A real eye opener. I couldn’t put this book down. Stayed up nearly all night.
Great read!
Great read. Combs keeps getting better with each book.
I had not read any of this authors books until I found this series. I made the mistake of reading book 2 first. I immediately ordered book 1 and 3. They are best if read in order. Love this author. He keeps several different stories running at once. I could not put any of the books down. They will keep you reading way way past bedtime. Not only is his writing entertaining, but I also learned a lot about the ER and the running of hospitals as well as medical procedure. There is always a little surprise waiting for you in the ending. Did I say I LOVE these books? A must read if you like fast pace action.
As a retired ER doctor, I found this book very unrealistic and somewhat annoying.
Good medical mystery. I like this author.
I just finished reading this book. It was not only packed with suspense but I now
better understand the opioid epidemic that is rampant in our country and also the threat of malpractice that the medical professionals face every day.
Loved Drake Cody.
