Loved the book! Would definitely read more from this Author
I really liked this book!
Great novel with a twist. Brothers are attend the reading of their father’s will and find that the brother that expected to inherit the family business is not the one getting it. Due to financial troubles the younger brother accepts the offer of his long time female friend offers to finance an expansion but due to limitations of her Trust Fund she can only invest in a family business. Twists and turns abound as feelings are resolved
I really loved this story. Lincoln was the misunderstood brother and ends up in a marriage of convenience to his brothers best friend Summer. They develop such a beautiful relationship. Fun, romantic and realistic.
A good quick read.
Enjoyable romantic read.
09/26/2020 I loved “Wrong Wedding” (nook). I was emotionally wrapped up in the story almost from the beginning. The writing was intense and full of heartache. A HEA.
A fake marriage to get at Summer’s inheritance to find a merger to save Carter’s company. No problem except Carter’s Dad dies and leaves the business to older son Lincoln. No problem just change brother. Not all things work out as neatly as they do in paper
4.5 Stars
I liked this one from the very beginning and had a hard time putting it down. I was drawn into the sarcasm that was Lincoln and loved to see how flustered it made Summer. I hated to see the strained relationship between Carter and Lincoln, watching the effects it was taking on Carter and Summer’s friendship and finally what it was doing to Summer and Lincoln. The chemistry between Lincoln and Summer was undeniable, even though they both fought it ~ making their banter that much more fun to read. It’s amazing what you would do for your best friend and this story shows that!
This series Conveniet Marriages is great because through this trope Noelle Adams can deliver beautiful stories and as always they balance emotions and sexy scenes making it more real.
This time it is about a love triangle and it is what makes the book more interesting… Summer, Logan and Carter are kind of lost and their dynamic (Summer and Carter best friends and Logan the odd man out) is that the key ingredient for this book and its characters. I don’t want to give too much because the book is so good (and it is almost a novella, it is not too big) that you will want to read it at once without putting it down.
Noelle Adams is always surprising the reader with her stories and this one is great!!
Reread:
This author does marriage-of-convenience unlike any other I’ve read. I’m a huge fan of the trope so rereading this was so much fun. I’d forgotten how much I loved Summer and Lincoln. Together they were too cute with their banter and Lincoln’s teasing ways. This gave me a couple of hours of pure enjoyment as I escaped into their lives.
Original:
I love a good marriage-of-convenience story and this one had a hero and heroine that I found myself rooting for from the very beginning.
When Summer’s plan to marry her best friend in order to help him with a business acquisition fails, she finds herself married to his brother instead. She’s never been a fan of Lincoln with his smirks and his teasing ways, always trying to rile her up. But soon she’s struggling against the desire she’s experiencing even as she’s having fun while she banters with her new husband.
The dynamic between Lincoln and Summer was so fun. Lincoln knew just what buttons to push in order to stir her up and Summer gave him all the fiery response he was looking for. Their back and forth had me smiling throughout the book.
This has a bit more angst and drama than usual for this author, but I was gobbling it up as quickly as I could. The chemistry between Lincoln and Summer was completely believable and evident even when Summer thought she hated him. I loved watching their relationship evolve into something more. Despite this being entirely in the heroine’s point of view, it was still easy enough to understand what the hero was feeling.
Overall, this was a fast read with two amazing characters and enough conflict to make this marriage-of-convenience a pretty perfect read.
