Chelsea Cooper thinks her best friend’s fiancé is the world’s biggest jerk.
She’s never really been one to make waves, but when it comes to that guy, Chelsea’s willing to make an exception. There’s just no way she can let her best friend make the biggest mistake of her life by marrying him. She’ll do anything to stop the wedding, even if it means teaming up with the one person who’s an even … even bigger jerk—the groom-to-be’s best friend.
Drew Russo thinks his best friend’s fiancée’s best friend is the prickliest woman alive.
Everything about Chelsea aggravates him. She’s too structured, too uptight, and too opinionated—especially when it comes to her thoughts on his best friend. When he’s tasked with keeping her away from their best friends’ secret wedding, Drew knows he’s in for one hell of a challenge. Never mind the days he’ll have to spend trapped in a car with the world’s most annoying woman.
The plan is simple enough—keep Chelsea from interfering with the wedding. But between distractions, delays and detours, they discover they aren’t the enemies they thought they were. And sometimes a wrong turn can lead you in the right direction.
Warning—This sweet, sexy, and laugh out loud funny romance is filled with all the most ridiculous road trip stories you can imagine and will make you realize sometimes being wrong can be a lot more fun than being right.

This book is awesome.. The second book in this amazing new series.. It has all the feels.. Chelsea is a audio book narrator and also works as a physical therapist. She loves what she does. She has some friends that she’s known since grade school, but her best friend Bianca is the worse. Chelsea never thought that Bianca would be so hurtful.
Drew is a guy that is friends with Biancas boyfriend Jimmy. Drew is always thrown at Chelsea. Sure he has though she was pretty and very interesting to talk to. But he never tried to get to know her other then talking for a couple mins every Friday night.
Bianca had always talked meanly about Chelsea behind her back. So how was Drew to know that Chelsea was not anything like Bianca had described her to be..
Bianca wanted to marry Jimmy so bad that she wanted to elope. Jimmy had asked Drew to ‘babysit’ Chelsea and to make sure she didnt find out about the elopment. Little didn’t Bianca know that the beans were spilled and Chelsea found out. Drew try to defuse the situation and had offered to fly her to Bluffton where Bianca and Jimmy was getting married.
Drew had a plan, first give her his address which was wrong address, then drive to the wrong airport then missing their flight. It wasn’t his best laid plans. Neither didn’t except falling for each other. If u want to read more one click it.. U can read this as a stand alone.. Samantha Chase has a was with words..
And the road trips continue. A Wrong Turn sometimes turns out to be the best thing ever. Chelsea and Drew are total opposites and I really loved the banter between them. I got a kick out of Drew always baiting Chelsea just to get a reaction out of her. But, as they really started to get to know each other it was swoon worthy. This story was really fun to read.
This book was really cute. You have two people who are thrown together by the fact that their two best friends are getting married, unfortunately instead of being a perfect match they get the wrong idea about each other and kind of end up hating one another. Then they decide to go on a road trip together, but each has a different agenda, Chelsea wants to stop the wedding and Drew wants to stop Chelsea. Funny thing is they start to get to know each other and some serious chemistry ignites. Tons of fun in this enemies to lovers rom com!
*** I did receive a free advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review***
With friends like this, who needs enemies. Chelsea knows her “friends” are terrible, she is about to discover just how terrible they are. Drew formed his opinion of Chelsea on her “friend’s” stories about her. He has his own issues with his bestie. It was hard to read how terrible they all were to her.
What if the last few years of your life were guided by a series of wrong turns?
Wrong Turn by Samantha Chase is book #2 in her RoadTripping Series. This fun book has well developed characters that you’ll love … or love to hate, a storyline that will keep you guessing and cheering, and scenes that sizzle!
Chelsea and Drew are part of a larger group that gets together at least every Friday, if not more. They barely tolerate each other but make attempts each week to support their best friends, Bianca and Jimmy. Chelsea feels like the odd duckling of Bianca and her posse, who use her for her designated driving when they go out. Chelsea’s a physical therapist with a side gig of narrating books. She’s making a name for herself in historical non-fiction as she works her way up to fiction. The posse, actually the whole group … doesn’t find Chelsea’s passion to be very interesting and find’s her outspokenness to be even less interesting than the narrating.
Drew owns a cyber security firm and has been friends with Jimmy as long as he can remember. He’s part of the group that doesn’t find Chelsea to be very endearing … whether it’s her personality or her profession. When Jimmy and Bianca decide to elope at a resort in South Carolina, the action begins! Drew is given the assignment of keeping Chelsea in the dark and away from the resort, but one thing leads to another and the two of them are on the road. He’s got preconceived notions of Chelsea that he starts to question almost immediately.
As the pair works their way south, their animosity turns into tolerance, which turns into interest and then …… wow … passion. The witty dialogue showcases the emotions between them … at first indignation, then indifference … and then charisma that sizzles. They realize that they’ve been played for a while and they come to question everything they’ve been lead to believe over the past few years.
Wrong Turn will have you guessing what’s next, make you sigh out loud, bring a smile to your face, and have you cheer on Drew and Chelsea as they verbally spar and tangle their way down the coast
In an interesting (and very welcome) twist, book #1 of RoadTripping is featured in this story. But if you haven’t read it, Ms. Chase has very creatively woven it in and it won’t spoil that book for you, and you’ll be able to enjoy book #2 as a standalone. But be forewarned! Once you read this book, you’re going to want to read Drive Me Crazy (book #1) too!
If you’re a fan of Ms. Chase, you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t read any of her books, download this now and prepare yourself for an enjoyable read.
I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
